Well could only do 30...didnt.really.think I could but had to try ....AAAA top shelf product might have had something to do with low numbers :ko:...thanks for the support and bday wishes....now back to it:rofl:.....
Nice effort!

Did the effort make you sleepy? Happy? Dopey? Grumpy? Sneezy? Did you need to see a doc? (I’m just guessing you’re not bashful...)

Ok, I’m done...

A question for stealth users: Does there coating also peel off on the inside of the crucible holder aka swing arm?

I think it's a great device, but it seems like the ''coating'' for the stealth black is not done correct. If anodized it shouldn't peel off or maybe it's another method? Anyways it shouldn't peel off under normal usage is my opinion

Agreed, it shouldn't peel if you're not hard on it. I would contact Ghost.

I had the same issue. The door and heatsink started peeling. I think there’s a defect in the finish. Hope Ghost Vapes fixes that as it is a common problem it seems.

My stealth has coating issues on the heat sink and inside the crucible holder (door) as well. Knock on wood, the latch still works tho. I always hold the button down while opening and closing so as to not put any strain on the latch. I am considering purchasing another heat sink along with a rubber gasket to have as a spare, but I'm also wondering if I should put in a ticket concerning the peeling. I don't think there should be any hazard, but at the same time I want to make sure I am being safe.

Yes we are really in the same situation, I also handle the latch very gentle bc of the latch issue
Since I live in Switzerland I think twice about open a ticket with ghost because of the effort and trouble that could occur.. Also there is a (*very) small chance of a replacement that it's faulty and at the end worser than my current device. (*I'm don't know how the actual situation is with new MV1 devices)

Or maybe someone already solved this peeling issue with ghost and can tell us the experience? :haw:

I want buy one of these devices, but these issues have me worried...I want convection.

I still maintain that I would not hesitate from purchasing the MV1. It is a great device that I use daily. I have still yet to need to invoke anything from The customer support staff, but I feel very comfortable that I will be taken care of based purely on this forum alone if I ever do. The great thing to me is how many times I've avoided needing to invoke customer service because of the awesome people here. Nobody can guarantee that you won't get a device that has an issue eventually, but it seems like if that does end up being the case, you will be taken care of swiftly and professionally.

Peese!

really don't worry! I wrote about issues but I have still my first device! I had problems with the heatsink and got immediatly a new one, the customer service is amazing! I think about buying a second one because the performance is outstanding! I never had from a portable such satisfying vapor hits!

Thanks guys for the reassurance, I went ahead and ordered a stealth black mv1 last night before sale ends. I am official now in the ghost family! can't wait to get her home. Any recommendations for a bubbler or water device and good shredder for the perfect cut. Also looking for smell proof case to hold everything. I had the official davinci case for my davinci IQ which worked very well. Any other accessories I should check out?

I’ve been testing a Santa Cruz Shredder, and the grind is very consistent. I’d hold off on water for now. I run everything through water, but don’t bother with the Ghost since it cools so well.

I thought it was just me and keeping my ghost in my bag, but I haven't seen any other place on mine start to peel. Kind of glad to know it's a latch specific issue others are seeing, means I can be less paranoid now. I did quick test and the paint on my latch does rub right off with just my thumb, no scratching with my thumbnail at all

Once I got to the part past where the crucible sits, the paint stopped rubbing away, so might just be a hearing issue?

Wow..
My peeling is on the inside, where the crucible gets holded. The ''teeth'' are silver and not black anymore, they peeled only because of the crucible putting in and out.

The exterior of mine is fine but I’ve just checked the crucible holder & I can see sliver on the tips of 4 of the teeth where the coating has worn already. This is a genuine concern you’ve raised, I’m not sure what the coating is but I don’t want to be vaping it.
Thanks for pointing this out, hopefully not too many are affected by it.

I have had my Ghost since the 4/20 sale. I got an extra battery and the free charger. I only do 1 or 2 crucibles a night. It has been a love hate relationship until recently when I discovered why I hate it.

I would love the hits and the buzz one week and wonder why I bought this paper weight the next. I would grab my Davinci IQ on those weeks. At first I was attributing the inconsistent hits with my load, draw, heat technique.

It finally dawned on me that my load, draw, heat was not the problem and I started to do some testing. I noticed that my love or hate for the unit was battery related. With the "good" battery I get the clouds, hits and buzz people rave about. With the "bad" battery I get the clouds, hits and buzz people complain about. Both batteries will get me high but one does it so much better. The "good" battery would go through a crucible in a few hits and the "bad" battery would get a couple of more hits per crucible. It seems that the "bad" battery can't keep up with the current demand. I also noticed that the bad battery would turn the battery indicator in the app red during a draw. I would exit the app and come back in and the indicator would be green again.

If I had only the "bad" battery my Ghost would already be retired luckily I had 2 batteries.

I will be putting a ticket in with CS and once I get a new battery I'm sure I will get consistent performance.

P.S. turn off blue tooth it does eat the battery. I remove and replace the battery...Not the best solution but it works. Hopefully there will be a firmware release to allow us to turn off blue tooth with button clicks.

The Stealth Black do have more "cosmetic issues" and the excellent Ghost customer service will get things sorted out BUT
I'm still avoiding the Stealth (for now). Returns are still a pain in the butt.

For those that love black, there's the Black Chrome (without the Stealth issues).
Satin Silver still my fav Ghost color!
