Wow that link was awesome. I knew portion sizes were changing, just happened really slow. Nice find.

Fuck Combustion, I'll be there
If you don't mind...I think I could write a song with some tweakage to those verses...

I'll think about it tonight when I'm :ko:

Nice pic lo!

Was lucky to get close enough (with 3x zoom) to get this shot with my point n shoot. Think it's a Northern Caracara. Would love to get a real camera and some good glass some day!

Pawn shop, Tac. Lots of old Nikon stuff out there and all the lenses are interchangeable. Model or year of camera and lens don't matter*, they all mate up.

Older FM (full manual) models, and others, make excellent student camera (student = serious student). Maybe $100 for a nice body, probably get the 50mm lens for $50, lenses can go for $20 to $2,000+ and that's really** what takes the picture, the body holds and transports film (** and has the shutter etc).

 So for the price of a modest digital point and shoot you can get a classic Nikon (used, sure, but they don't make them any more so you have to go used, and why not go with the best?)

BTW pretty cool bird. Would not want it mad at me.
