@ElPic your tip looks awesome! If you are electrically anodizing like @Xclerk was talking about, please share your technique if willing.

@Fat Freddy @DEZISDAD Love it!! The Freak Brothers are such a blast from the past!!!

I think we found the person to facilitate the DynaVAS Anonymous Support Group in @hafalump. He obviously has more will power than the rest of us.

@Xclerk Its a Dynavap conspiracy!!! You will always have a stem that needs a tip!!

@stark1 nice hat collection. I like that they dont have any red ones.

@SquanchKava Ha Ha!! Thats so funny the birds were building a nest in your ABV Tray. You should leave that bag of CBD out and let them build a nest out of it. Did you loose your magnet? Ill send one.

So many things I want to buy and so little cash! The DV sale is taunting me. And that @phattpiggie stem at PIU for $85 bucks is almost too much to handle. Going to have to take a hard look at the finances and see whose health insurance, or medications I can skip paying this month so i can get more toys

@RogueGuy thanks, but no need I still have the magnet, and I ordered some from Dynavap too.I better get some magents JB welded onto my Elevate stash box before the road trip next week.Think I will mount two on the back of the Elevate because I tend to you use two DV's since I use CBD flower.

Yeah I am tempted to just buy a bunch of caps and 2018 tips since they are so cheap because I know I won't be able to stop ordering different kinds of stems. Already have more stems than tips and caps.I guess that is how it goes thoigh.

I know I thought whatch a bird fly in and snatch up a nug and fly off to get its nest on.I should catch and train one so I wouldn't have to use a grinder anymore.

Good for you. Of course you know that you a tit behind the times.

We, on the other hand, have many loves. Give yourself a hand.

:myday:Some of the things you have missed. Or not.

THATS how I individually store and carry each of mine when traveling. A padded down M&M minis tube! What do you know? I'm NOT the only one! LOL

Weekend mornings are the best. The birds are trying to build a nest in my TRWW tray though. I love the smooth taste of the these two stems.

Do you have magnets glued inside those bamboo caps? Looks like a nice idea for portable heat sink and stand.

Hello all, a davinci IQ user here. Want to try convection out to see if I like it. I looking at the ghost mv1 but i am seeing some growing pains they are having. this dynavape keeps calling to me, I only see positive words about dynavape products. With the sale going on which m series should i get? And is the package worth it? Or should I just get the dynavape by itself? Any add on coupons before i buy? Thanks.

As for which one to get, if you want to use it through glassware at all, I wouldn't get an "M".

Spend the little bit extra and get something like a NonaVong XLS.

Titanium spinning mouthpiece, titanium tip, Darkwood stem.

Because of the shape of the stem it is extremely versatile and can be used depending on which way you have it set up in two different sizes of glass with no adapter needed.

With glassware or by itself, it is definitely my favorite official dynavap!

AND you can get a 4 inch "OG Chillum" glass stem (about $5 at your local head shop, but check with your cleaned tip for fit cause there ARE small variances among the openings from stem to stem) and put that titanium tip in it for even better Vapor Cooling and hitting without the extra glassware.

If you get the NonaVong, make sure you get some kind of wax. Either the one dynavap sells or get like a generic chapstick from a local store, (I use a chocolate flavored one on mine. mmmm!) And rub the wood down (O-rings, too) every so often with it to keep it from cracking.

As for discounts, if you type in the code "FREEDOM" when you order, you usually get an additional 10% off.

I don't know if that will work in conjunction with this sale, but it's worth a try. LOL

I have thought about doing that. They would be more secure if there was a magnet at the bottom. They cool off pretty quick just sitting on the bamboo. And the way I do it is fill them both up and cycle one right after the other and let them sit and cool. So I get about six small puffs between the two then take a break before another heat cycle. That way is doesn't taste like burnt popcorn till about the 6 or 7th heat cycle. Probably less efficient the way I do it but the flavor is awesome and lasts a good long while.

I own an IQ.
Used it twice since buying the M. That was a year ago!
1/4 of the price

@david8613 , the dynavap vapcap is not a pure convection vape. There’s some convection, and some conduction, couldn’t say what percentage of each. You won’t be having the “convection experience”. That said, it’s an amazing vape, very efficient and different from the IQ.

You might want to consider the Ed’s tNt Woodscents log vape. It can be used for a pure convection experience in which the vapcap (without cap) functions as a stem, and then you also have a vapcap you can use without the log, heating with a torch lighter. It’s more expensive than a M, but is very versatile, much loved by many, and can be had for comparable cost to a ghost mv1. Prices ascend for more exotic woods, but domestic hardwoods start around $300. (Out-of-context thread, over here )

Just so you know the dynavap is not a convection vape

It is a hybrid. There is some of each, convection and conduction. I used to think it leaned towards convection, but I now believe it leans toward conduction. I may depend to some degree on how you use it and whether or not you use a condenser. Without a condenser I think it is more conduction.

I sit down for a long awaited dyna sesh and my vertigo cyclone lighter wont fill. Lighter is completely empty and I am purging it first. The fluid works fine since I can fill other lighters. Its almost like its blocked except I can hear air coming out when I purge. Fluid just wont go in. Anyone else run into this problem?

This won't really help with your lighter problem, per se, but have you ever looked into the induction heaters?

If you just Vape at home, @Pipes makes and sells one for about $75 US.

It's a desktop model that plugs into your wall outlet that he calls The Caldron.

If you vape on the go, he sells a portable that battery recharges, called the Portside Mini for a little bit more.

After using my Caldron, I don't use torches anymore, at home.

It's literally that consistent, convenient, and makes my vaping experience at home, virtually hassle free.

(BONUS : I'm saving a SHITLOAD on butane and trial-and-error of various torches!!! LOL)

Definitely worth looking into.

@thejackalsmark Yeah down the road I will go induction but for now lighters generally work ok for me. I want to see what Dyna comes up with before buying one (ive waited this long and it seems like they are getting closer). I threw the vertigo away, was my favorite. At least I have some decent single flames, time to place an order for another triple flame

Not sure what George is going to end up putting out for an induction heater. Heard so much talk about it for so long it's beginning to sound more like an urban legend. LOL

As for reliable torches, I swear by my Aomai Single flame, flint wheel activated jet.

Are you wanting that triple flame for out in the wind or just quicker Heating?

Triple flame because I get quicker and more consistent results. I have two single flames they work well but mostly get used for cleaning things in a hurry. I see George has a video on that lighter, I will check it out.

I use one like this:
https://www.amazon.com/EAGLE-TORCH-...580&hvtargid=pla-681696141101#customerReviews

And this (many years old):
https://www.amazon.com/Ronson-Jetlite-Butane-Torch-Lighter/dp/B006G1KVQ0#customerReviews

Just used my dynavap M with this waterpipe (I love it even use it with the enano):

https://www.puffitup.com/The-Scope-14mm-H2O-Mouthpiece-p/qctq.14mm-f_bubb-bla.htm

I took a t-break (I do them every so often), dynavap is such a cool device

EDIT: Ok I just watched the video, saw earlier discussion but I didnt pay close enough attention. Im going to add it to my cart, looks legit.

ONJ, if it is any consolation, I have a Vertigo quad. It is problematic, works when it want, other
Times it’s, WTF! Good thing, like you, I have a few lighters.

On the subject of induction heaters, TJM is spot on. You may have a very long wait for DV to
Go back on a “battery free world”. In the meantime, if you do decide to procure one, it
Will not only complement your DynaVap experience, you will have achieved a new/different level of experience.

Some like the ritual of using a lighter, an IH brings you into the 21st Century.

Have the best of both worlds. Have both.

Induction heaters, custom stems, cooling beads and water piece set ups.

I feel like I am one of the few who prefer it as it is, single torch lighter and a standard Omni XL is enough for me, I don't feel like I need cooler vapour, I prefer the rich dense hits a lighter gives and as beautiful as Simrells stems they are just asthetic they don't improve performance in anyway. I can't comment on the vortex although as I say I don't feel like i need cooler vapour. I smash 2 fat rips per load and it's fine when I did try water piece I used it dry and found it too smooth I like to feel my hits I dont get why people are so obsessed with cooling with their dynavap vapour when using flower.

The cool thing about the vapcap is that it can be used as it was designed; as you are. And it can be used the way I use it; with custom stems to use in water, or to use a longer glass cooling stem for native use. And I can't wait to get my Caldron from @Pipes. I have tendinitis and holding the button down to torch my vc is hard on my right thumb.

The reason the vapcap is so popular is the many ways it can be used. There's no wrong way or right way to use the vapcap; there's simply YOUR way, and that's the best way for each of us.

Vape on.
