We have a favor here, if you'd like to help, we plan to set 3 colors as usual, but we considering 4th color as white, please let us know how do you like a white vapor in your hand? (By joining the poll)

My concern with white is, will the material it's made out attract dirt & maybe dust?

Furthermore, regardless of color, can the finish peel & how prone to scratching is the finish?

So, because the unknown answers to.the questions are relevant to the poll selection made, I choose in the middle - 50%. ;)

And I have to assume that 2 other colors are black & blue. :)

Hi @Summer

The white surface material will be rubber paint. very comfy touch, personally been playing it for days, gets a bit dust, yes.
The finish peel is anodized aluminum shells, no worries for scratching.
The other colors will be Black and Gunmetal grey, might cut blue out at first batch.

The rubber paint is for white color, anodized is for black and gunmetal grey.

There's no certain decision on blue option for now, we will update here once we have it.

Thank you:)

There's gotta be a nice blue.

Confused as it can't be both rubber & anodized???

Totally unclear. :\

^ Got it. If the vape wasn't photographed with a white background in the pic I would have realized that they were stripes. I thought it was an pop art kind of pic with the white background bleeding over a black vape in (white) diagonal stripes.

OK, last questions: Will wiping down the outer shell with a damp cloth keep the rubber paint portion free of dust? And will the white paint be resistant to embedded black smudges caused by dust debri?

Thanks.

Sorry Flowermate, but a rubberised white coating sounds to me like it would become a grubby looking mess in no time :ugh:
I voted '10%' - a little', but only because there is no option on the poll for 'nope- no chance'.
If I were thinking of getting a Flowermate it would definitely be one of the other finishes you describe.

Ah, no damp cloth for that.
What do you mean by resistant to embedded black smudges caused by dust debri?

For wax material, need to be careful with it.
Haha, but thanks for the vote, man!

You know how rubber, plastic & silicone (especially if gummy) can get black smudge marks (similar to scuff marks on shoes), embedded just under the surface material which can't be removed? If you still don't understand, I throw my hands up & give up trying to explain. :\

My concern would be that after awhile the white would discolor due to UV or because of aging and turn an ugly yellowish - white.
I agree that a blue would be a "favorite".

On top of that these false rubber coatings have a very bad tendency to become tacky when they age. And if it's anything like on the Ascent or SwiftPro then it's prone to be damaged by ISO and other alcohol-based cleaners.

So I vote against white too, leave that to the Apple fanboys! :worms:

Usually, the fine elastic rubber paint (which is gonna be applied with white color) can be resistant to embedded black smudges. Hope this will solve your doubts. :)

Sorry but i disagree with that statement.
Does it withstand iso?
What do you mean by withstand iso?

Thank you for everyone's precious votes and opinions, we will have Black/Gunmetal Grey color at our first mass production by end of August. Hopefully we can get it released by then.
BTW, we have changed our product name from HYBRID PRO to CROSS, hope you will find it the best fit!

We haven't test on that yet, but if we decided to publish this white color with rubber finish, would definitely test that part.
Thank you,

Sorry but all that discussion around colors and finish doesn't interest me at all (please stick only with stealth colors imo)... although I want to read more about the unit itself. You mentionned it might come with 2 ovens/bowls...? I don't understand cause, if I remenber well, the HybridX came with a flower bowl and a 510 threaded connection, isn't it?

It might be something interesting if you can place the 510 threads recessed, maybe using a spring loaded system to pop it out for use. And with a compartment for the flower's bowl mouthpiece while not in use (like the Nano) in order to get a unit which doesn't looks like a sci-fi weapon!
A TC feature would be very nice idea and might really help to catch people interest since most wax vapers use TC feature and not only VV/VW.

Please don't use threaded mp like you did for the Nano and Slick, a lock-on system or o-ring fitment would be better imho.

If there is some free room inside the unit a compartment for pods would be a good idea too (sometime I use the mp's compartment in the Nano to carry an extra pod on the go).
