New to FC. So do y'all just learn to live with the crack? I've already sent it in for repair once for this

Also I don't get the whole photo upload thing...

Mine cracked around 2 years old (maple). It still works fine despite the crack. I decided not to send it in for repair, I dont want to be without my log vape for 2 weeks.

And I thought it was my own fault because on a couple of times I left it on highest temperature.......... and forgot about it for a few hours. And I figured that mistakes such as that may be responsible for the cracking. In my case I am waiting for the full crack to deepen all along the side and then I am going to use some wood glue to repair it. But so far its been like 6 months and the crack hasn't actually gotten any bigger.

Finally joined the club after years of eyeing out a log vape. I've had my enano all week, and have ditched my vapcaps. This thing does microdosing just as good if not better, and it's instant because I leave it on most the day. I think I prefer my Ditanium and have still been using that as my primary vape, but I know what to reach for when I just need a quick, massive hit

Welcome to the club @TheHerbPuffer .

I stopped looking for a main plug-in vape once I got my nano. That was 4-5 years ago. Although I've heard good things about the Ditanium too.

It's the portable world that keeps me looking around. I also put my vapcaps aside. In fact, I put all torch vapes aside as I got tired of the heating and possible charring and shit. Right now my Fury 2 is my go to portable, but I'm always looking around. I tend to vape rosin and other concentrates more than flower lately.

I suppose we are quite the opposite right now ahaha. I have so many portables, and now that I have two very powerful desktops, my portables are insufficient at this point. The only portable I've touched in the last few weeks is my SBJ and that was just when hiking and bullshittin in the garage. Fury 2, vapcaps, and my Air have been collecting dust. I'm probably not buying another portable until there's a ground breaking one. Something like a Grasshopper without all the issues

Epic contacted me & offered a shipping label & a stem which is great.
I did ask for a couple of gongs for my trouble but I really just want to get it repaired.
Hopefully I’ll get a label & get it running properly again.

I’m ok with owning two because it’s a great vape & I bought another inverter when it started playing up anyway, maybe one of them can be a bedroom nano.

I like & use mostly plug in vapes like the Sub Evo Volcano & FlowerPot but I think the fact I continue use & appreciate the Nano speaks volumes.

I generally only consume one of two ways:

1) At home: flower/kief in the e-nano (of course)
2) Out and about: wax/concentrate in a Linx Hypnos Zero pen. Small, discreet, and 4 temperature settings ranging from all flavor to all clouds. Can load it once with all I need for an entire evening. Been using it about a year and a half and it's served me well. (I have no affiliation with Linx - just passing on a good experience)

Cool! Let me know how well it filters the odour! I find the longer / more filling the less airflow and it's not really nice to exhale into. I like the carbon!
I was thinking of maybe filling an old water pipe with carbon or some other smell absorbing/masking/neutralising material/liquid, and then exhaling through the downstem (via whip).

I hate to say it but personally I really enjoy just exhaling a thick ass cloud of nano vapor like a fog machine through the room

A great straw for an extra thick smoothie.

If I didn't clean the stem first it could deliver a buzz.

Ha... So would an ice stem make it a frosty/smoothie? (or a mess)

Wow, that's a good Idea!
But I still have to wait a few months before trying anything ABV related, just thinking of the taste/smell makes me nigh nauseous xD

But GREAT IDEA! ENJOY!

I was on an paleontological field trip over the weekend so I didn't really get any R&R, luckily there are some days off coming up so I'm going to clean and organize my nano supplies.

Hope y'all have a nice start into the week!

Solod out.
My nano still going strong 5 years later. I used it very little in comparison to some here who have had them for years and leave them on 24/7. I basically used it for only 1 year and i turned it off when not in use. My nano is still perfect. No crack and works perfectly.

I am wondering if someone can help me out in trying to determine whether this GONG i bought years ago is 18mm or 14mm. The part that attaches to the bubbler is almost exactly the same diameter as the E-nano's glass stem. That should be the 14mm one, am i right?

The 14mm GonG is more or less a smooth piece from end to end, the 18mm is significantly larger on one side, the side you put into the Water piece.

Edit: Took a pic that should help explain:

Just curious as to what caused that ring of wear around the top of the nano? Never seen that before. Sorry to hear about the second crack, although with what looks like cherry wood, it kind of has a cool rugged look to it.

On another note, my ice stem arrived today and I was most excited. I checked the tracking number when I got home and learned that it was sitting in my mailbox. :science:

This is what I can tell you so far. The glass is very thick and a nice quality. It is a fixed screen which is usually not my choice but I'll work with it. I typically load rosin wrapped in some cotton. The fixed screen isn't that deep so the heater touches the cotton.

The first hit melted the rosin and I mixed the cotton around with a toothpick. With the second hit, I was wondering if I was getting anything as I didn't notice if vapor was passing though. Upon the exhale, I blew a massive cloud that put me on the couch, and I haven't been able to test anymore.

That was one smooth hit.
The ring is wax/buffing compound. I have never seen a double split like that. Usually it's one split, straight up.

Had some time to kill yesterday and well whadda ya know, GAS struck me!

I got a lil recycler-precooler, it's not quite what I was looking for for my whip setup, but it fits really well into my favorite pieces.

And here it is in the other glass' context.

I actually couldn't decide which piece to use last night so I rigged them all up together into one mega piece
I'll set it up again today and take a pic. With the nano it works really well because of the nearly unrestricted airflow.

I need an objective opinion... My friend is in IL and since cannabis will be legal soon he wants to be able to use again. However, he lives in a somewhat small clustered apartment complex and wants to be "a polite neighbor." I have been recommending the E-Nano a bit excessively but he is kind of not interested in it because he thinks all vapes stink thanks to a stinky Volcano experience years ago.

The E-Nano's smell is minor, nothing like a Volcano or even a Mighty. He says I just don't smell it but I freakin blow my exhale into my closet's direction and I was told I smelled nice when I went for my biopsy yesterday (lump on my neck -blood test shows no thyroid issues so we need to find out why it is so big.) I would have no problem using my Nano in a tiny apartment. but maybe I don't really smell it? I blow clouds with it too, and can saturate my currently tiny room with vapor.

My Nano is on 7 24/7. Best vaporizer I have ever used. Seriously debating buying another one. I got a nice solid wood desk and I need a stand to dissipate some of the heat. This woven pot holder I'm using is very ugly.

It's a solid investment. My first log and my only so far but I don't think I will ever get another desktop, unless I can find one for europe with a digital VVPS and artisan craftsmanship...so either an exotic nano or a WS. But that's still further down the road as I am perpetually broke (and thinking of going to med school next year :science: so that's not a financial burden at all ;D ), and my nano is still working perfectly!
I don't leave it on 24/7 though because I use a stepdown converter so

I don't think it smells at all, since in the normal use-case it never actually comes into contact with vaping material.
So even if it's on all day it really doesn't smell, and also if something does stick to the screen (usually when hashing or sticky bud) it vaporizes in a few minutes or less and then doesnt really smell any more (but I would remove it ASAP).

The vapor you exhale is going to smell though, with pretty much any vape, if that's what he means. You can use a smokebuddy or similar smell filters.
If he is just starting up again then one way to maybe be less smelly is ask for the strains/varieties that don't smell much or are just less fragrant/potent.
I vaped some X-18 that smelled fairly faint and is gone pretty fast if you open the window, and on the other hand some OG Amnesia which just is impossible to hide because it's just so amazingly pungent

But personaly, with my nano I love to take massive rips through the recycler and fog up the room :whoa:

The Enano can be used as an aroma therapy device as well using essential oils. You can hide smells better with the Enano than smoking for sure. Food smells can hide cannabis vaping just pop some popcorn or fry some bacon. My brother bakes peanut butter cookies before relatives come over to hide the cannabis smell.

The Enano is my go to vaporizer. You can’t go wrong with an Enano investment. It will last for years.

I haven’t looked but often there’s holiday sales. The 4th of July is coming up.:2c:
