2clicker: This is from an email I received from 7th Floor "The glycerin tube is about 8 inches long whole, the glycerin part is about 5.3 inches and the inner tubing is about 10 inches long. We will have a small mouth piece for it or the transfer wand can be used. It can work on all our vapes as well. Colors will be green, blue, black and clear, we will work on pink and red in the future."

Lwien: 0.025 does not satisfy me! That's not an amount I would normally use. I require several stem loads with a log vape, but only one from the LSV. None of the current glass pieces are designed for such small amounts. The LSV versatility invites custom pieces. I consider the LSV to be a handheld vapor engine. It was designed for the power user and the first lineup of accessories is aimed at those users. 7th Floor has already started introducing new accessories including the cold Glycerin Tubes. I am sure they will eventually offer a wand with a smaller bowl for those that only want to load a few hits worth.

Ash057,

PD Bowl - LSV Efficiency Test

Here you go caseball2051 and anyone that is interested...

WOW, I need to go back and change my efficiency findings from earlier extensive review. A small amount worked VERY WELL in the water pipe adapter bowl. I filled a PD bowl and then scraped it out into the LSV water pipe adapter bowl. At first I thought, no way is this going to hit well because the herb barely covered the the whole screen. I was certainly wrong. With the LSV dialed to 1 or 2 o'clock, I got nice thick hits with good size clouds out of my Roor Lil Sista with showerhead diffy. They were admittedly more airy than out of the PD, but in a way I enjoyed, really the perfect thickness for nice smooth relaxed hits with visible milk and good size clouds. The taste was amazing (as I covered in the review this is the best aspect of the LSV), and the hits gave me zero irritation or coughing. Another good aspect is that I never had to turn the heat up to finish off the bowl, it was a nice medium to dark brown after 3 nice cloud hits all at the same temperature. Conversely, when I fill the bowl big for groups or to last all day, I am constantly tweaking the temperature up to finish the bowl, making major flavor sacrifices as pseudo combustion is approached.

Now I can't speak to the wand efficiency with this amount, but I usually put a bit more. My thought about why this may not work as well for small amounts is because the contents of the bowl shift around so much more in the wand, and you can't see it while you hit it. I would think an amount this small would get pushed to the sides as you inhale the skinny air stream. Now I think you could figure out how to get it to hit well, but it would probably require a lot of stirring, which I have explained previously is the main problem with the wand method due to difficulty.

Conclusion:

The LSV works great for the small amount/efficiency group when used with the water pipe adapter. It is definitely the connoisseur way as you get the perfect amount of hits for a one person session, and don't make flavor sacrifices by having to dial the temperature up.

A Legend in my Own Mind
Yeah nice reviews Ash and Shadow. Ash nice pictures, finally we can see how it all works together, much appreciated. After waiting about 2 years for the VHW to get it's reliability problems sorted and still no end in sight, this looks like my next vape.

Slightly off topic, just got another 20 feet of 7th Floor tubing (in green for Xmas :D) and a matching green GonG 14mm adaptor.
The air path on the adaptor is the widest I've seen!

Good call Ash on finding the glycerin tube, I think I will have to order one of those once the funds are there. I also think I may hold out for another color.

I really like how fast the accessories are coming for the LSV. I wouldn't have thought of the glycerin tube adapted in such a convenient way, lets just hope they let their imaginations run wild!

Devo: The instructions do tell you to increase the temp just a bit, but its not needed much. The bowl is not that much further away.

Shadow: Wish mine didnt have the sticker, must be nice! Maybe 7th Floor will give me permission to remove it. My LSV got really hot this weekend too. 7th Floor mentioned a samurai style stand for the LSV, but not sure how much it would help with heat after being on an hour.

Afa my xp goes, i have made myself a samurai stand, and just leave my LSV on from 7pm to midnite, never had an issue. It does get hot, but as soon as you start inahing it cools down to normal.

About that glycerine wand, I think i'd rather have a custom made hybride of the aqualine and the wand rather than having an extra 8inches long piece of glass.
And this way one can have some real water filtration and a thinner wand maybe.

Samurai style would look cool on my shelf but I would think the cord could be an issue. Maybe a vertical wall mount would work if heat wasn't too big of any issue. The LSV and Buddha can be left sitting on a desk turned on all day long. There has to be a way to securely stand/mount/display/hang the LSV so it can be left on for long periods. Sitting it down doesn't feel too safe since it does generate a fair amount of heat after 30 minutes or so.

About the Glycerin Tube,, you can use it in place of the transfer wand, so actually its 2 inches shorter.
A small aqua tube would also be nice. I had actually emailed 7th Floor about a small water filter tube when they emailed me back about the Gylcerin.

7th Floor emailed that they had shipped the 18.8 water adapter today.

I also noticed they had the Glycerin Tube available for order. Not a fan of black, I will wait and see what the other colors look like.

I hope the plug is removeable, a drop of dye would be killer.

Yeah they changed around the description a bit. I noticed they added the line about the perm seal and removed the mention of other colors. They also named it the "Vapor Tamer"

Ash057,
Wow I'm pretty impressed with all the new gadets 7th floor has been coming out with in addition to coming out with the lsv. Im still going to wait however till some of the other new units come out and reviews are done. Those elbows look awesome though I might have to get one.

@Ash057
Actually I made a mistake, it's not a samourai stand i've made BUT a vertical one.
I took one of this commercial cigarette stands where a pack of cigarette was "sitting" on a "chair".
Made a hole in that "chair" for the wire. Another little hole on the arm of the chair for the stirring tool, and one last one next to the chair for the wand.
So the LSV is standing straight up.
It's not really good looking, not 100% safe, but it does the work, and I think with just one security belt and an elbow it would do a nice whip vape.
