I don’t think any of us can do a direct comparison. There are so many variables, and I find my experience differing due to many factors....ambient temp, herb grind and moisture, pack density, draw technique...the list is extensive.
For me, I get good weed, stored in C-vaults with 62% Boveda packs, which are then stored in a Pelican airtight case. Once a week I grind a fluffy, medium grind in my lg 4pc SCS. Usually that’s about 2.5 grams a week, stored in two Doob Tubes, which do stellar duty for portability with no smell.
That grind works in my logs, my RBT gear, my S&B trio, my LB Elite, my iHeat and my VapCap collection. In my VC’s, which I pack fairly densely, it get 4 to 7 good hits, which for me means a straight lung pull from click to click.
Long winded reply, but we’re all different, and most are hugely successful with their VC’s. I only EVER combust when out in a social situation, and then I try to show a few willing subjects the joys and efficiency of vaping.

I have had a little fling or two. I met this girl after me and Dyna became a regular thing. MFLB is her name. Oh she is so smooth and flavorful and kind of makes you work for it, so it makes you want to be with her even more. I thought we were going to run away together and start a new life. I felt terrible for Dyna. But, before i knew it, and completely naturally, I found myself calling her less and less. Me and Dyna are back and stronger than ever. I may stray from time to time but I know I will always come back and Dyna will be there with open arms.

Ha ha ha yep the DV is no f@ck fish. It is a keeper. I just feel a bit like when he explains the collection obsession phase. Plus I just love that movie.
One of my Kava buddies is a huge MFLB fan and it is on the wishlist. He brags on it a lot and keeps telling me to get one So is a SB junior, Vapman, and and and for the collector in me. But you just can't beat the simplicity, low maintenance, and cathartic vibe of rolling that cap over the torch. I swap evenings using your Glass stem which is my favorite, and my second faborite the Danielj TWSS length woody. But mornings before work just call for the standard M stem with mouthpiece tucked into the Elevate stash box. I think that will be my travel set up. I love that they all have their special times and uses.
Another Kava buddy who is also a long time college buddy called dibs on an extra brand new shiny 2018M that I kind of over ordered. We had some shells of Kava and several DV tipfulls of CBD on his last visit and he was super impressed with the DV. It wll be fun to send off the package of Kava and that green tube of joy to him.

Plus, you only really need one MFLB and maybe a Maud Dib, well definitely a Maud Dib in your collection or one of any vape for that matter.
What is so unique about the DV is how customizable it is. I dont think there is another vape that can even touch it. Im always going to want another different stem or mouthpiece even if it smokes exactly like another one I have.
@SquanchKava the MFLB is the ultimate vape to sit in the hammock and slowly enjoy an amazingly flavorful bowl over an extended period of time. It forces me to slowdown. I think you would enjoy it.
The Vapman looks amazing from an engineering standpoint and I hear the flavor is unmatched. I have a SB Hydromax on the way, I'm pretty excited about it.

Have you tried a brilliant cut grinder ? I’ve been looking at them but usually have used a scs. Don’t know if it’s worth the extra cash for the new design of the brilliant cut

Haven’t tried the Brilliant. I started with a medium Cosmic 4pc, also have a Space Case small 2 pc. When I got the lg 4pc SCS, I have been quite happy with the grind, which is just perfect for my VC’s.

Same here . Only screen I've had to replace was my Ti screen from my NonaVonG XLS when i "Blowgunned" that sucker across the room one day, NEVER to be seen again... maybe the next tenants in our apartment in the future will be dynavap owners and find it. lol) R.I.P. little Ti CCD. lol

The "pen clip" is an excellent idea! What is that from specifically?
Was the clip already the right size to just fit right on perfectly or did you have to bend it? And does it scratch the glass putting it on and off or no?
There will probably be those out there that absolutely hate this but with any of my dynavaps I actually don't bother to grind. I just break off a tiny nug and pop it in. I have a regular mesh screen cut to size and stuck in my titanium tip in its bottom position and then a regular titanium CCD placed in the middle position. Hits smooth, nice clouds, and no tiny little bits coming through. Plus, the little nuggets Vape just as well as if I'd used a grinder.
On a side note, I've noticed that if I hold my vapcap straight up and down with the tip pointing to ground when I draw, I get the higher temperature Vapes, like if you set a thermostat to the 350 or 375 degrees Fahrenheit range, because heat rises, not only giving me higher level THC activation but also making the draw and production of clouds easier because of the assist from the natural rise of the Heat. Has anyone else tried using their vapcap this way versus horizontally like smoking a cigarette?

There are some others around here who skip grinding though, so you’re not alone there!
