Discontinued Ghost MV1

Well, I'll be interested to hear if the anger helps your plight. Have you asked for a simple refund?

I hear you continue to say how sub-par
the unit is, and I'm not trying to pretend to be some type of vape connoisseur who has tried hundreds of different ones, but I have tried 5 or 6 others that were all very popular on the market and this one is at least as good as those. Every one of them that I own(ed) works best in ways slightly different than the other ones.

I would not trade my other ones if I had to only own the MV1, but for the situations I prefer it in the MV1 is irreplaceable to me in my collection.

it just sounds completely absurd to hear somebody telling me that the device is sub-par when I know for a fact that is incorrect. I put 30 plus crucibles through mine per week for 5 months now. I haven't had to do an RMA once to date.

you put crucibles on right side and put top(left side) on and fill.... Filling surface is concave so all the buds slide into crucible.nice and easy......excited to see final product.... Hopefully by month's end! I'll let everyone know....have a good one!

Me too. I have 2 MV1s and put about 8 crucibles a day through them for the past several months. They work flawlessly for me. I’ve stopped using my other vapes.

I just want Ghost to survive so that they can keep making great stuff!

Same here. End game vape for me I’m honestly quite surprised it’s not as popular, considering the vapor quality.

If course I've asked for a refund. I bought it from sneaky Pete so apparently ghost feels zero responsibilities except to send me another brick. I opened it and used it and pete would rather cut off a finger than do the right thing. I wrote a review on Pete's site. It never showed up. Neither did the second one. No swearing just my experiences. If this doesn't get the resolved to my satisfaction, imma shit all over this white elephant.


I've got 2 units that are not working. There isn't a trick or technique listed on the web that I haven't tried on these lemons. I don't care how wonderful your ghost is unless you want to send it to me. I shouldn't be angry? I Should have been vaping through a superior vaping device for weeks now, instead I get nice meaningless customer service rote comments. I was supposed to hear from a rep on monday, it's Wednesday and all I got from ghost was some ad, saying if I can con a friend into buying this paperweight, I get $25.

Considering how many people have had problems with this wonder of technology, I find it amusing when a small percentage of you happy people don't understand what it's like to purchase something that is the worst vaping device I've touched. But yours works great so mAybe I should sit back, relax and see if the next 2 or 3 ghosts they send over the next month might, kind of work, but not very well.

My broken mighty, which is how I got into this mess, is so much better I can't stand it. It's leaps and bounds above the ghost in everything. better than the two ghosts I've tried. I can t wait until I get my hands on the magical device that works just as well as the mighty, the dynavap the herbie, the other vapes friends use. Id prefer a check. Should I not bitch about this device in this thread. Is it impolite?
In case you haven't figured it out, I like to warn people about this thing and oddly enough , this seems like the perfect place to do it. Buyer beware .

Sounds like some real shitty luck lol but this time you’re ranting about something that seems to have broken while it was in YOUR possession. Props to you for sticking around after all the problems you’ve been having but maybe it’s time you just settled for a refund and moved on instead of ranting on a public forum as if it actually does anyone any good.

The Mv1 is by far one of the best units out there regardless of your unlucky experience. I’ve used plenty of them since it first debuted. Shit happens, especially with Mv1s. Just get your money back and put it toward fixing your mighty.

Broken mighty. Fuck. So you went to ghost because of the hype? That's gutting. Ive had a latch door break on a stealth. Service for me was excellent.

I can see you're annoyed and I would be too if I was in your shoes. I really wish I could help you out. If you've tried everything and been on here you'll be pretty clued up on using it. Or how you would expect to.

I'm a bit late to the conversation to know your issue so if you do want to reach out to me I can try. There's enough people on here to help. Unless it's unfortunate that you're on to a bad run? Then that is worrying and I'm sure that other users and ghost themselves would be interested in knowing why. I saw some slight cosmetic changes on my replacement stealth.

I really love that HIT from the Ghost and it's the cleanest taste I get apart from the firefly 2 but that hardly gets used. Battery is shite for me and it's just a bit fiddly having to stir. You live and learn. I'd say give them one last chance and if that doesn't do it move on.

i have requested my money back. it was the first thing. i'm an ex purchasing guy. i wouldn't fuck with a bad company for 2 seconds unless i had zero choice. i either put my tail between my legs, put this piece of shit in the garbage and suck it up. or i complain. loudly. i haven't even begun to bitch about this brick.

the door latch no longer works. are you insinuating that i got this new device and roughly used it for about 20 whole crucibles and broke it? there are complaints about the latch all over the place. and i'm not rough with any of my toys. and as i mentioned before, i could tell when the battery was down to two lights because it went from giving me decent hits to nada. change out the battery, and once again i get decent but not great hits.

i truly wonder if some of you folks are part time tokers and think a so so device is great because it looks cool and they don't know any better.

although i usually read a lot before i buy, every device i've purchased in the last few years have been based on FC comments i hurried though my reading and youtubes and now i'm paying for it.

the mighty broke (thin plastic on the top side) and i had seen a few reviews on the ghost and thought it sounds just like what i'm looking for. i prefer to take a toke, put something down and come back whenever. my experience so far is that some comedian wrote the wonderful info about the ghost and is laughing his ass off at the number of suckers who bought it.

That crucible holder from Delta is great!
reminds me a lot of the Haze Square loading tray.

So I got to try my MV1 through water today for the first time, and WEW does it hit hard!

Ended up picking up the universal adapter from puffitup this past weekend while picking up a replacement gong adapter for my solo 2, and I'm quite happy with my choice

Just bought one on ebay. Close and cheap.
I hope the lack of the dispenser doesn't ruining it for me.

Yeah, I'm done trying to help that dude out man. All he does is come on here ranting and basically putting the rest of us down.

the history of my comments here shows my struggle to figure the device out in the beginning and eventually finding the right technique. It is certainly not a story of somebody who is just blindly in love with the product.

I'm happy I own the MV1. My unit has worked flawlessly from the beginning, but it did take me a few weeks to figure it out. I am also very happy for the feedback here on this forum. There's a great group of people here.

yeah i wasn't planning on doing it on FC. so i can't piss and moan about this inferior product. got it.
didn't realize this wasn't the place to inform people of my problems with it. the fan club are pretty rabid though so i get it.

i won't be using FC anymore. only positive reviews and no follow up on continued problems with not one but 2 useless devices isn't allowed. no need to ban me, i'm gone.

On a lighter note and after much research I am buying a Ghost MV1 tomorrow. This will be my second on-demand convection vape, the first being my Firefly 2. It will be joining an ever expanding line up of wax and dry herb vapes that includes The Dynavap Shadow M, Jet Black Firefly 2, Sai on tesla stealth and black DTV3. I'm confident in the product and in their customer service to ignore the previous posters remarks and history will tell if I have made the right decision, but My Money is on the Ghost being a fantastic device.

For those following along, it sucks that 'stressed' is having issues, but I think these claims of 'many' and 'small' are reversed.

Yes, there have been problems, but most of them get sorted out. Scan this thread and I don't think it is 'many' people having problems.
As for happy, I think considering that people usually use forums to complain, it seems a pretty good percentage are actually happy with their Ghost.

I know I'm happy with mine. Now if we could just get an ETA on that crucible dispenser...

Anyone knows a place in Europe that sells the holder, 3D printed version ?
The funnel looks great too, but couldn't find any .stl for the mv1.

I want to thank all of you for the useful information in this thread! Again the FC forum has helped me tremendously to decide what vape to get.

This morning i got my MV1 (ordered yesterday!) and just took the first session with it. 2 hits level 1 and another 2 on level 2. Boom! Didn’t feel the need to go any higher. Got very big hits out of it without much effort. Even the first hit on level 1 had a lot of vapor. I'm very impressed!

Lately i started enjoying my Grasshopper with a percolator bong as daily driver. Trustfully banging Mighty every 3 days and handy Pax 2 in the club. The Firefly 2 is resting because it started acting up a bit. But i always liked its flavor the most.
Imo the MV1 tastes as good as the FF with some more airy feel and punch. Love it!

Actually i declared some time ago that i didn't need anymore vaporizers. But it wasn't true.
I'm very glad that i convinced myself to add the MV1 to my arsenal and i wouldn't have done it without the help of you fellow FC members. You rock!
