Since it is Pride Month, that would be kinda awesome right now

People would likely just complain: "They're just releasing different colors, where is the innovation?!?!??!?!:rolleyes::rolleyes:"

Not to mention the people that would get all butthurt about the cause... (irony at it's finest?)

Likely the same people that running out to buy some incredibly overpriced custom stems... and you guessed it! they are anodized and shiny, so totally worth the cost... :D

Someone posted the pic below on reddit... It appears like this is the version 2 of the 2019 M tip... In addition to the channels being wider & deeper, the cut outs on the tip is also bigger, almost semi-circular.

Hi
i have 3 M 2018 and 2 M 2019
I am very satisfied with the old M but unfortunately very dissatisfied with the new M 2019 of the first generation of tips.
I find the draft and the overall effect of the high better in the 2018er

Wanted to ask, did not quite get it. is the 2019 Tips of the first generation what went wrong with the production? or do you get new exchanged on warranty?

Hey FC,

Any interest in safe/economical screen replacements for VapCaps?

Been using them in testing for about a month and really enjoying the freedom of clean screens.

Vape on!

DDaveMods is not offering replacement screens to address any design defects, simply offering a very economical, working alternative.

Clean-up on the VapCap aisle!

I've thought about getting a hotter torch and colorizing my own Ti Omni but I have never gotten around to it. But who knows what the future holds...

Is a propane torch hot enough?

It doesn’t take extreme heat; you should be able to do it with the same lighters you use to heat it. I don’t know how fast it would change, and it would be hard to get one color with a small flame though, so go in expecting a crazy multicolored piece. :)

My first FlowerPot is mostly blue/purple these days and the temps have only been in the 550-600 range most of the time - it just took a long time to get there. It started going through other colors pretty quickly though.

If you try it, I’d start on a standard Ti condenser since they’re cheap and not usually seen, then move onto the pieces you really want to do once you have a little experience. :)

If those torches aren’t fast enough you could try a propane torch, but if you do you should just start with a quick test and then slowly keep it in for longer if you’re not getting results. I’m really not sure how fast it’ll go at high temps, but if you overshoot what you’re looking for you have to live with it, keep going until you find another color you like, or use strong acid to remove that layer and get it back to its original color. Starting slow is easier. ;)

Can I ask where you saw the offer?
It was on ent exchange. Not sure if its still there it was up yest. That tri tip looks so fun. @SquanchKava The black wood does but not sure not the others. @DDave will you be selling those. Ive used the hard honeycome ti screens and there not bad sometimes they get a little stuck. If these are better id try them. Also if you arent selling them. Where can we get some ? Tx

@SquanchKava those look really nice.

So, some of you might have noticed that I'm a little obsessive compulsive. I take everything to the extreme for both good and bad. I have a new obsessive compulsive mantra in my head right now that is making me crazy.

"Every tip needs a cap. Every stem needs a tip. Every stem with a tip needs a condenser or MP. Every tip needs a cap. Every stem needs a tip. Every stem with a tip needs a condenser or MP. Every tip needs a cap. Every stem needs a tip. Every stem with a tip needs a condenser or MP"

AAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

Anyone else have this problem?

It's bad. I actually draw rough diagrams at work matching existing stems and matching parts and then figure out what is left. And the fact that I have an extra M stem with mouthpiece and tip but no cap is bothering me like well why not get a Vong body and cap and complete it :) but then what do I do with the extra M stems I don't use. Will they get lonely just sitting in the green dube tubes? Do I need another Elevate stash box or maybe one of those cool 3D printer plastic rigs on Etsy.
And my girlfriend tells me I change every conversation she starts into talking about Dynavaps

Being OCD can be a blessing sometimes, RG.
Your customers also get some very nicely crafted stuff to tool around with. Wink Wink.

@SquanchKava WORD!! I do the same thing. I can definitely help you by taking all those extra parts off your hands. That way only one of us has to stay up at night obsessing.

A far as your girlfriend goes, I can only imagine what my wife must be thinking when I start talking about vaporizers.

@stark1 OCD does have its upsides. And thanks for the compliment. My OCD with making sure my customers are happy is a huge benefit. The downside is that I have a very "strong" (I'm sure others have more colorful names for it) personality and tend to overshare, and dominate things. Trying to dial everything back and keep a balance.
