I finally got an LSV.

I'm high as fuck.

That is all.

Sorry for the pun, but that picture is too cool!

Where'd you get an infrared camera?

LSV's are pretty amazing vapes aren't they? I think you'll find they run a bit cooler if you stand them vertically. Hey Stu, if you get a chance, take an infrared picture of it in the vertical position and see if it's any different.

What's your favorite way to use it with a WPA, or the included glass transfer wand?

Amazon of course.

I'm curious as to what you think might be different if the pic is taken of it vertically?

:peace:

I was curious to see if the very top portion of the LSV gets hotter, and the lower portion of the LSV is any cooler in a vertical postion. The lower part of the LSV seems to be a bit cooler to the touch when the LSV in a vertical position. I think it would be interesting to see an infrared picture that compares the two positions.

Other than being high as Fuck any other observations?
I noticed that my dog looks at me in a strangely judgmental way like she's not really a dog; but a vessel from another dimension noting my every movement in order to report back to the overlords of existence. :tinfoil:

I don't think it will make much of a difference, but when motivation strikes I will take some more IR pics for science. :science:

they say im crazy but i have a good time
...i just got my LSV yesterday, thanks to @arb ranting like a lunatic about it... had to see for myself... so far i spent a good evening with it... all i can say is..... wholly fuck how is this vape not more popular?? it's like a log on steroids or a less cumbersome EVO... i can kill a bowl in one hit- thats my main criteria for a good vape! been using the stock steam with a rimless basket screen (old rbt style)...

... @Vital, the lsv does not get that much hotter than a log and is definitely cooler than the top part of the EVO (bare).... i have no issues touching any part of the lsv...

... after my first night with this all i can say again is how the fuck is this bitch not more popular within this vape community... seriously this one should be mentioned more than others i can think of that people rant higher of...

...guess what i'm doing tonight after work? playing with my new toy thats what :science:

Have you seen the picture in here that someone posted using an LSV with a M2M adapter and a hydratube to create a Homemade EVO...I love the ingenuity of the people in here. :science::hmm::sherlock::science::rockon:

they say im crazy but i have a good time
... so i'm really digging the lsv... wish i tried one a long time ago!!! i have had this one on my radar for quite a long time but i guess i never really pulled the trigger due to the lack of mentions when discussing other vapes or while making comparisons.... glad i did because it has made me shelf a few vapes i never thought would have been shelved....

And she's a beautiful dog Stu, I've seen her, albeit through the eyes of The Predator, which was quite an experience lol! (always loved that film growing up as a kid).

That was all I came to say, on with the show folks. :)

Sidenote, I'm just wondering. What do y'all use as a portable? I've got a 3 year old Flowermate mini that needs a good upgradin'.....Look at the Arizer line, better quality then most and enough configurations to match most needsn and wants.

...i'm not big into portables, but if i do need to use one it's a vapcap, or splinter Z, depending...
I second both those choices and think that they represent two different ends of the portable size range. The Vapcaps are tiny and great but have some limitations whereas the Z is larger once mod and mouthpiece are factored in, but the performance is absolutely superb.

Hey everyone, I remember seeing some discussion of this in the SSV thread and it seems 7th floor has a website up about it now. http://lifesabervaporizer.com/index.php

Seems pretty interesting. The price is a turn off for me though.
Many times in life you get what you pay for. The materials used a first class and built in the USA. Remember you like to get paid and that is why you charge for what you charge. Wish it was a world we just made things for free, I know I would like it:)

all of the Hakko irons have ceramic elements
Picture009.jpg

all you have to do is remove the tip and you have the same type of element that you will find in the SSV, DBV, and the LSV.

this Life Saber is nothing but an adjustable soldering iron without the tip. what makes it worth to some is that they have made the custom inclosure with glass on glass connections.

but in essence it really is just an adjustable soldering iron... as are the SSV and DBV. they expect the extra money to cover the R&D of the piece. of which it seems most feel is not warrented.

Well, I see you have the idea we just used a heater. Many times you find what works best and use it. Ceramic heaters are no doubt the best. Now, if you think one can make a LSV for less than we sell them for you must be taking out the labor. Also, the threading takes a high $ machine. In life you get what you pay for and the materials in a LSV or any 7th Floor vape is far superior to most all of the competition.

Thanks for the support! Yes, the LSV is great, but we only have you and our fans to tell. Many of the other vapes pay TONS of money for marketing making you think they are the best. Really just compare like you did, and proof is in the vape. If you like to leave your unit on check out the silver or super surfer. They now have a dab dish that is the new benchmark for enails and the housing can be as unique as you!
