Paying it Forward - A New Direction

Now… there are some donations that boggle my mind.
@Splat has decided to get rid of the old stock of Chewy 1 grinders, and continue on with Chewy 2 grinders.
He has decided to donate the older version to the low income patients in my area.
I now have enough Chewy 1 grinders to set up every patient that I know and then some.
I am making arrangements for a demo/giveaway, at our local 420 Social Club, where almost all participants fit the criteria of being chronically ill, and also of low income.
Thank you @Splat for your generosity toward the community.
What a dude!

I have told you of @Splat 's generosity with his original Chewy Grinders.
Today Patty and I made our round's through the community.
I brought a sack of whole Jasmine flowers to demonstrate in public, as we met a couple in a public setting.
  1. The first stop was a senior citizen. Lovely woman, 82 years of age, with carpel tunnel syndrome, and I was able to demo for her using Mother Nature's own. She was so thrilled, that she could not contain her tears of joy... "I didn't know such things had been invented!"
  2. Next stop was a patient that we met back in 2010. He got his first vaporizer from us, and it still is his go-to vape at home, and on the move he still uses the X-Max Pro, that we gifted him 8 years later! We met at the Post Office... so he got the "Jasmine Demo", which was a hoot, since we were grinding in public!
  3. Third stop was to our Medical Marijuana Doctor's office. She has not charged Patty or I for our renewal visit since the raid. We left her with 3 dozen of the Grinders to use at her discretion, with her patients that were arthritic, or otherwise manually disabled. We know many of them, but they already have vapes, and Our Doctor can help us to touch them all without seeing them all!
  4. Finally we went to visit a friend that I have spoken of before. Cancer of the leg... and 3 years ago he had to have it amputated. The wear on him from using the wheelchair, has limited his manual mobility, and so he was next candidate. He was delighted with its function, and we left him with a huge smile.
  5. In a few days, we will meet with an FC member (she can decide whether she wishes to identify herself or not) that has rheumatoid arthritis, who lives in our area, and we will "hook her up" with the same deal.
  6. Next week we meet with a patient who has had the bones in his hands fused together, due to a crippling arthritic condition. He has seen the Chewy 1 video, and is also very excited (he's called me back 3 times to verify our appointment with him!
Thank you @Splat for giving the low income patient population here a boost!
FC.... Thanks for reading.

Amen on that Vitolo comment, and please take a bow yourself. Through 'the Sage of the High Desert' you've made life a little better/easier for many of our fellow humans in very desperate need. A HUGE deal to them without a doubt.

It makes a guy feel better about the world just knowing this is going on.

We at the sidelines can also play an important part for (IMO) not many dollars and very little effort. Vitolo's preferred vape for these 'challenged' folks is the F2, with 'Dosing Capsules'. HR is currently having a sale of this device:

https://www.healthyrips.com/store/p38/FURY_2_Bundle___1_FREE_Accessory!.html

If you order one (like I just did) and put (or similar):
Please substitute Dosing Capsules and send to Vitolo for his continued good work.
Also kindly match this order, if you will?

HR will match your contribution, at least they have in the past. No guarantee they will continue, of course, they're certainly under no obligation, but doing so would shock those of us who know them and their past commitments to 'the cause'. So you can in essence contribute two F2s to 'the man's effort' for $65 each. Do it, you'll feel good about yourself (with good reason) all day. I just did and the day already seems a little brighter.......and for sure there are more birds at the bird feeders than normal for this time of the morning.

Regards to all and special thanks to @Splat and our very on @Vitolo.

http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/healthy-rips-fury.24408/page-147#post-1368525

So for 'a mere $109' you can contribute 2 units......Vitolo will see they get to where they do the most good. Now is the time to go for it?

Kudos to HR, we could sure use more like them and @Splat.

I have received donations of Fury 2 set-ups from 2 different members.
Both are not the kind to be on stage, but you guys know who you are.... and the FC Members likely have a good guess.
THANK YOU!
I am off to quite a start, with 10 sets to go out into the community with.
Thank you so much for putting me out there well equipped to "represent"!

A while back, I spoke of a girl named Yazy.
Read about her at http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/paying-it-forward-a-new-direction.13802/page-13#post-1178981
I just got a @PlanetOfTheVapes "ONE", which is very like the Fury 2 (which I still think of as spectacular for my patients, and they go into the community quickly!), except they have added Haptic (vibratory) feedback.
Back 2 years ago, I gave Yazy an Odin for it's haptic feedback, but the mouthpiece got hot and was hard for her to manage.
This week, Yazy will get a"ONE".
This was a donation, and I am not sure if the giver wishes anonymity, but I am sure regular readers can guess.
Thank you for the donation... if you are willing, step up and say hi here.
This unit is perfect for her!
Here is a video about Yazy, when I first became acquainted with her.
This is her last year:
She turns 18 years old this year.
I am crying as I type, because it has been a long road that Yazy has had to travel, and I was blessed and I am grateful to be a part of improving her life!

I have decided to forget about trying to get Chewy into big distribution companies and corps and go it alone. I have been doing it alone anyway  but the price was kept up to facilitate the possibility of distribution. Its been a hell of an experience none the less and one that I can use going forward.

I have decided to slashed the Chewy 2 price down to $29.99 and go it alone. If people want a Chewy they will have to buy from the official Chewy store.

I hope my friends on here will help drive people to my store. www.chewygrinder.com

Cheers,

Ronan

God Bless all of you.
I am logging in from a friends home (but with one of my computers).
I worked for 10 years... while earning 771 a month... and because our house was paid for we managed well. I was able to support us on that much.
You all knew and loved Patty, my significant other.
I did too, and still do.
Once she was accepted for SSDI, her income became double mine, so we felt really wealthy, but Patty began to drink more, and bring home liquor in abundance.
One night before bed I thought she drank down a 24 ounce glass of water..... that is until she woke me from a nightmare at 4 a.m.She then began to scream at me, and wound up hitting me a number of times.
I looked in cupboard and found 1 inch left in an untouched liter of vodka.
She then lit 2 cigarettes in a row, in spite of the vets warnings, in the house in same room with our dogs.
I took each one and flushed them, reminding her of our promise that she would combust outside.
After this she threw a 2 gallon Pyrex mixing bowl that we used for Dogs water.
She then dialed 911 and said "have me arrested.
I grabbed the phone to intervene, but it was too late.
The police were on their way.
I told "my officer" in seclusion that she did nothing wrong, and it was because of my TBI that I likely said too much and antagonized.
The officers conferred, and my officer told me that I lied... and that my Patty already confessed to hitting me 5 times and throwing the bowl at me.
They arrested my Patty, handcuffs and all.
I went at 6 a.m. and at 8:30 pm I got her released... and that release took until midnight.
She did not want to go home...so she went to a motel.
We talked for 4 days in which she said " I love you" a number of times.
Then she stopped answering and also did not return texts.
I secured an attorney, who conferred with an attorney that Patty hired.
next day when I returned home from Doctor's office... the sheriff was waiting for me with an order of protection.
I was to leave immediately and could only return once for 15 minutes with a police escort to gather my possessions,,,, 13 years worth of possessions!
I left with one computer and 4 pairs of underwear, and socks.
Sadly, I had a friend follow me so he could safeguard my vaporizers and meds.
WHY this explanation?
Because I have not helped the community for 4 weeks.
All vaporizers in a friends basement, and Vitolo in a car.
I go to friends home daily to check emails, but your friend Vitolo the Vaporist is at this time homeless.
No place will rent to a guy with $771 a month income.
I was privy to a "pocket dial", in which I heard her only friend encouraging her to destroy this picture and that... "reminders of him will just make you weak" she said.
She said that she wished that in her brutal marriage she had someone to guide her the way she was now guiding Patty.
I could listen no more, and I hung up.
I will post a note here when I have a place to live, so that I can once again accept donations of parts and vaporizers for the community of terminally ill low income patients.
At this time, it is all I can do to traverse the many miles to the post office, so I am temporarily useless to everyone including myself.
I spill my guts here for lack of people I trust.
I have trust issues, and childhood abandonment issues that make me solitary at the time.
I do not believe that e can find our way back together from this darkness.
I am still in love, and still wear my wedding band.
I retrieved hers from the trash, and I keep it on my keychain.
Please know that I am not giving up my promise to the Universe.
I will soon get settled, and resume were I left off, whether alone, or with partner.
I for now seek a place to live (hopefully a 1 bedroom and not a studio), to store 13 years worth of memories, clothing, and vaporizers.
This is my explanation to all who follow my posts.....
That I am neither dead nor insane.
I will once soon let self be healed, and will let you all know when I can accept vaporizers again.
My first priority will be to find a place for myself and dog, and then to remake my life
THEN, I will collect used/unwanted vapes again for the community
Wow that's bunch of sharing Vito!
Do you blame me?... I've been holding it in for 2 weeks!
Thanks for reading... and I will be back!
I left my computer on 24/7 at a friends place 30 miles from tucson, so when I once again am back here near computer, I will know what has been going on!
Too much drama, and disappointment.
I still love my Patty, but this was a very intense disappointment, for me to adapt to.
I will hurry to heal, so I can resume my debt payment to the Universe.

Sending positive vibes your way, Vito. Stay strong and take care of yourself my friend. I know that you prefer to think of others first, but sometimes we need to look after ourselves for our own good and well being. I'm sorry to hear of your current struggles, but know that you have friends here always.

@Vitolo , you have really been through some tough times, but this is the worst

Want to send you some cash, as would others here I'm sure

Concerned though, about the account linked to your PayPal email. Feel uncomfortable asking this, but worried if it's a joint account

If account is a problem, let us know an alternate method, e.g., sending money order in mail to your PO box?

I know this thread is called Paying it Forward, and you are a proud man, but after all you've done for others and what you've been through yourself, I'd rather Pay it Back instead

That's a lot of Love, @ChooChooCharlie
It is not a joint account.
Patty has a new email address, so all emails I have used are all mine now... new password and all.
It would be harder to cash a money order.
pvdelv@gmail.com would likely be the safest place to use for paypal.
If all of the confusion seems bad.....
There is worse.
I have been driving around for a week looking for a place with a yard for my Service Dog.
Put 900 miles on in a week.
I searched for 9 hours today for a place to live and was driving exhausted... and did not see a vehicle heading at me.
BAM!
I am a little beat up, but the brand new car took a worse beating.
Insurance adjusters will look at it tomorrow and let me know the outcome.
I am trying now to work that out.
I see another attorney on Tuesday about the return of my dog, birds and possessions.
I did not have rental reimbursement on my insurance...
but will rent a car on Tuesday morn to go see the other attorney.
Enterprise gives a discount for Geico clients that do not have rental reimbursement
I know there is a light at the end of the tunnel, it just seems a long way off about now.
The Universe intervenes though, and I know things work the way they do for a reason.
I am ready and waiting to land square on my feet.
God Bless all of you!

Oh hell Vito, this is terrible to hear.
It would be nice if 'the worst things' would find someone other to happen to than the best people.
You and Patty always come across as exceptionally good folk, and I really really wish you both the best in this situation, and hope your continuing love for each other can get you past this low point.
As Stu said Vito, now is the time to focus on looking after yourself for a while.
I'm certain that the good folk you have helped, and will continue to help in the future, will expect (more like DEMAND) that you take care of yourself as the top priority.
Emergency workers, first responders etc etc have it drilled into them that if they fail to look after Themselves, they quickly become unable to help those they seek to assist!
That debt you think you owe the universe?
Stay healthy so you can pay it!
PLEASE BE CAREFUL VITO :ugh:
