Here's a concept stand for the dual controller. Please let me know of any suggestions you may have.

Looks great :) Now I have to get the DCup to complete my setup with my VRod ;)

Only suggestion I would have it a place for the shovel tool and/or stirring tool.

Dcup owners unite. I finally got 1 to try out & a Weedeater also. I have to get it all setup , hoping by this weekend as its been a busy week. I have the NV Sic Dish so far but hope to try some others in the future. That obsidian look's insane but the Sic I received really looks great also and was polished nicely. I'll be running the NV dual enail. How is everyone liking them ? What Dish do you have & are there any preferred temps ? Are you guys using the Terp Pearls ? This Nail is a work of art , it was so nice opening the package to see the work and quality of all the parts. I was really floored. I have owned many Nails and recently gave up my 30mm Quartz nail with a Sic insert for this setup as it worked well but I was not 100% happy with it. Hoping to share some thoughts with everyone soon and join in. Read through all 8 pages and ty everyone for all the great info provided, it will be a nice starting point for me. I cant wait to try this all out.

What are you hoping to accomplish with the Dcup that you weren't satisfied with on your 30mm quartz/SiC combo?

For 1 I'm happy to now have a nail that cannot break. I'm hoping to get great flavor , low temps and just a great dabbing surface . I also would like to get it dialed in to my liking which I never really was able to do with my other setup .

That's what's up, I guess I thought you were unhappy with the performance of the silicon carbide insert itself?

I was , I got the FadeSpace Insert and I didn’t think the polishing job or quality was so great on it . I also had to go pretty high in the temp to get everything to vaporize and leave no pooling in the Insert and that somewhat tarnished the flavor for me a bit . @invertedisdead did you get a Dcup ? what setup are you running now ?

No, the 30mm NV/CCA inserts wont fit into a 30mm Banger since they have 30mm DIA on their own,
you would need something like a 35mm banger (i.E. a Galaxy 35mm Banger will work..but the bottom of the banger isnt rly flat so i wouldnt advice that route)

@Justpassedu
Flavorwise sapphire is still king to me, also never cracked one of my inserts..just only dry q-tipping and (i) never use concentrates right out of the refrigerator..let em sit awhile to get at least roomtemp...temp wise im hoovering between 525-580°F (PID)

No Dcup yet, I'd like to try the WeedEater though!

I'm still rocking my old 25mm quartz with a 19mm sapphire insert :science:

I recently got to try out @superdang9000 Fadespace insert, but ultimately we both seemed to prefer sapphire.

I got the Dcup setup quickly last night. It was late so I was only able to take a few dabs , I'd say about 6 before bed. I started at 600F , got a bit of pooling , went up to 650F and found it vaporized my dab to quickly so I tried 630F and liked that but that last dab was a small 1. I gotta really sit down with it and try to dial it in before I get to smashed lol . I can say the 1st thing I had noticed was the taste/flavor of the concentrates really stood out to me. I also want to try the terp pearls but feel maybe I should find a good starting point I like before adding them. Anyone have any tips or preferred temps ? https://imgur.com/a/GVkrtgr

Stack two auber 300 rdk together in a prettier outside and heavy duty case with their own separate controls and i am a buyer, i guess newvape can make a bracket to house two auber 300 rdks, in case one breaks you can swap it out with a new one, then sell glass rigs where you can use both at same time, i am a buyer as well :)

Got a question, why is titanium 2 better than say stainless steel or aluminum, doesnt titanium 2 give off carincogenic gases at higher temps, tbh it doesnt smell that good at high temps, like plastic almost burned smell/smells funky

@NewVape710 wow you guys move fast. Saw the dual pod stand is already on your web page. I ordered it last night.

I bounce in and out of this forum it would be really helpful if you guys had a mailing list and notified us of new products when they are added.

My new vape addiction continues. More shiny stuff on the way.

Thanks!!!

@Justpassedu if you haven’t tried the pearls in the Dcup you are missing part of the Dcup which is I believe designed to be used with pearls. For me it’s probably the most tightly designed unit for that purpose.

Ty , I have yet to try the pearls but that will be my next step. I wanted to just try and grab a good starting point without them 1st. I do have the pearls so I’ll give it a go. How many do you recommend starting with ? What is your preferred temp using them ?

@justpassdu I usually use 6mm pearls (x2) but sometimes I’ll throw one 6mm and one 5mm to help clear the center oil out. You can also clear the center oil by lifting off the carb cap when pearls spinning slower just don’t lift it too early although I don’t think I’ve had a pearl shoot because of the overhang. On my halo well I’ve dodged a couple pearls being a little forgetful about the carb cap.

The pearls in this device really do aid in vaporization and for me I wouldn’t want to use the Dcup without them. I don’t always feel strongly about pearls but the carb cap is perfectly designed to get them really spinning nice tight fit, with two directional airflows inlets. Very tightly designed. The only caution I would have is be careful to keep the Dcup level, I was passing it around or picking my rig up and what happen was the oil got under the insert which isn’t so much fun to clean. Although NewVape has an instructions on their website in case that happens.

Temps 490-580 F I generally let the temp rise and fall between these points by switching my D-nail heat on and off.
