Nice avitar, @mario.
I gotta show some love to an avatar that's bigger on the inside, and powered by Rassilon's Star!

I don't run across many other Whovians in the wild these days.
Cheers, my friend

Okay, now back to talking about this amazing grinder :smug:

Has anyone cleaned theirs yet? Would brush and some iso be ok? I don’t wanna scuff up the finish
Nope. I've thought about it, but it's not ready for it yet. My stash is pretty dry, and I'm using bovedas again which I really find seem to dry my stuff out pretty consistently. As such, grinding isn't causing much mess and the dryer stuff even soaks up some dank residue should it be there.

I have cleaned the outside a few times, I used isopropyl and microfibre to bring back that lustre and clear out my engraving. I usually gain a little collection in the bottom face from sitting it down on herb crumbs, so that gets scrubbed from time to time the same way too.

I think the trick with isopropyl is to avoid soaking which could impact the anodised finish. It is a great cleaning agent though, and can be used sparingly to good effect. Hot water with dish soap and a toothbrush will probably be my method when it comes time to clean the inside though, the heat will be advantageous and avoiding fumes is worthwhile.

Loving mine.

Friends came over to try it, result, 3 more grinders will be making their way to Spain:D

Now, do not believe the hype, this will only make your GAS worse. Because you see, all those nice colors, they will get you hooked.

This grinder is simply the glorified version of what was once known as 'a grinder'...

It also just looks beautiful, and functions equally brilliant as it's name suggests.

Thanks! I feel like Doctor Who is the perfect companion to a nice chill night of vaping!

Thiiissss. I didn't get the entire pack, I only got the medium plate. But I'm already sitting around thinking of ways I can afford/justify the other two plates. Can't decide if I want them in the same color as the main grinder, or if I want different colors to signify the different consistencies. For the days when I do load up a bong at a friends house, I think the course plate would be best. Thinking of getting it in Red since that is the only time I would be burning anything. And then a Green fine grind plate for the times I want to use a conduction vape. (ok that one is weak, I just really want an emerald plate....)

See you're right, I've already talked myself into needing the other two plates.

Yas, that was all via email so I have a record.

I expect they will make it right and am only posting here to make sure that they notice it. Don't know what the issue is with email responses.

I see....I did not understand then. Yea...I am surprised as I have found them to communicate much better than average in the industry. Hope that your issue gets sorted out quick!

I am loving this grinder....

I now wish the extra plate I got was coarse...not the fine plate.

So if anyone wants to trade for my onyx fine plate...I am looking for a coarse plate..preferably onyx

Why Do you not like the fine grind ? What are you using it for ?

I use a dyna and a brick. I don’t know if I need a fine or medium grind plate. Any help?

I find that to be a weird jump. Why not try the medium plate, and instead just jumping to the course?

I can't imagine many vapes that I would want the course for, other than large-bowl whip-vapes like the 7th-Floor heaters?!?!

Thanks! I feel like Doctor Who is the perfect companion to a nice chill night of vaping!

Sure. But I'm worried about the current writing. We'll be rid of Moffatt with the next season, but I have come to like Jodie Whittaker, and am sad to see her go.....I'm just insanely curious to see which direction they take with the next season. A lot of people are pissed off, and they could make or break the show with the next season. We shall see....

And back the the vaporizer at hand...I can afford an Omni now...but I'm not sure I should get one...as I like to use the carb mostly closed, but I'm worried about losing the manual functionality that I've gotten used to in being able to control the airflow on the fly.

Does anyone know how BCG shows up in your billing statement? I'm trying to buy one this morning, but the card that I use for buying vaporizers is bouncing on the BCG website. I'd just like to know if the billing statement is discreet.

If someone who does not imbibe heard you bought a grinder, what do you think THEY would think? Unless they already know the ecosystem well enough to not care what you do (Unless the one you need to be discreet about is with the police or rehab related and/or parents/spouse.), I think 95% of people would have no idea what a brilliant cut grinder might do and why one might want to do it.

Who are you keeping on the down low from?

I started using it with the medium plate first.....then saw that the grind was finer than I had expected..and liked it. Then after 4 or so uses I switched to the fine plate......and find that it is just not needed as I like the medium for a "larger fine grind" or "fine medium grind". lol

So....I have a FF2 and a few others I would like to use a larger grind in....mainly ones with glass bowls.

My offer still stands for trading out my fine plate for a coarse one if anyone is interested.

I picked up a nice and dense ounce today. I went to my buddies on my way home, and used his SLX to chop up. It was the first time in a while I'd gotten caught out with a single small bud jamming any chance of twisting.
Had to open it up and bust apart the bud, disperse it and then really work to grind it up, it came our a decent medium consistency.

Now I'm home and sublimated. I used my BCG to chop up a decent sized nug, twice as big as the nug that jammed the SLX. Placed through the centre without concern for the magnet, I did have to crush the lid on with some decent force, but it really showed how tough and sharp the BCG teeth are. Seriously smooth action, absolutely awesome grinder.

I still love my NV fine grinders, but in truth they have been supplanted by my BCG with fine plate.

I find the BCG fine plate to give really fluffy and highly consistent fine grind which is my objective.

I have all three plates but have only used the fine (yes, I'm a lazy f*ck haha).

I will have to break out the med or coarse and roll.....yes, a joint (gasp) out of it and see how it is! haha

But for vapes, mostly i like fine grind.

Lately I find myself preferring the fine plate over the medium plate for grinding herb for use on my dynavaps. I have now relegated the medium plate for backup use. The fine grind gives a more fluffier consistency which, to me at least, appears to produce more vapor... I now only go 1 second past the click instead of two using my DIY IH.
