If anyone is looking for a cheap small case have a look at this eGo case and select the XL size 160 * 80 * 40mm
https://www.ebay.com/itm/5-Sizes-PU...7?pageci=512fe16d-1d74-417c-ad40-30773467cbaf

It fits a crucible holder but it's very tight and I would wrap the holder with a soft cloth so you don't scratch your MV1. You can find these cases everywhere in many sizes but I spent a long time searching for someone that sold this size in a quantity of 1.

Wow I was just about to ask if anyone had any cover recommendations! My MV1 is starting to get the paint on the door chipped off and I want to save the rest of the paint job while I still can

Don't have it with me today, but I use a compact digital camera case. The ghost fits perfect, and the front pouch has room for a crucible dispenser or 2 , and other supplies.

I have a Maui Jim sun-glass case and it fits my MV1 perfectly.

Maybe look around on Ebay or Amazon for a sun-glass case for wrap around glasses.

Is it effective at all at blocking odor?

Slightly, yes. I get a small wave of odor when I open the case with a crucible in check. It's only the zipper blocking it so a fully loaded crucible holder might stink a little more. Better then nothing that's for sure.

My nose is very sensitive to Cannabis though, I'm like a blood hound for that sweet green .

I want ghost to make a hard case that fits everything and is smell proof but I don't know if they're working on anything. There was a case they had teased before for just the MV1 but I don't know what happened or it. Hey @ghostvapesofficial are you still working on a case for the MV1 like the one you showed before?

Finally finished our review of the Ghost MV1 Definitely one of the tougher reviews we have done yet.

As some of you know VaporizerWizard is run by two of us. The way we do our reviews is we each heavily use the vape for a week or two, and then we come together and discuss what we believe are pros and cons, what we like, what we wish could be improved, our favorite techniques, how we each pack, draw, and clean the unit. Thus far we have been on the same page with every vape until now.

With the Ghost we tend to disagree is on the preferred temps, how we pack and repack, and even how often we prefer to draw. One of us prefers the FF2+ in most situations, the other prefers the Ghost for the bigger rips and less airflow whenever the Ghost's increased size/weight isn't a factor (if it needs to be carried in the pocket)

However we both agree it has top tier flavor, it has top tier airflow so it's very enjoyable to rip, but unfortunately it also has a top tier price point to go with it.

Hi everyone, I’ve been mostly over on Reddit but I’ve heard it’s active here as well as many people seem dissatisfied with the MV1. I hope this post helps anyone who is having user error related issues.

First off I wanna say, I’ve had the MV1 since October and I gotta say this vape is now my daily driver and I have not looked at buying any other vaporizers since. The Vapor quality is the best I’ve experienced in any portable vape. The taste is amazing and this thing rips hard. My only complaint is the paint started chipping on my heat sink (Ghost sent a replacement) and the door which is sort of a bummer considering the cost of the vape.

Now for anyone having trouble, I have experimented and found this to work consistently.

I grind herb medium. I don’t use coarse or fine. Coarse and you get uneven heat distribution which means you need to stir and too fine and it’ll fall through the crucible. I’m currently using the Brilliant Cut Grinder with a medium plate which is my most favorite grinder thus far. (I’ve had ID and SLX before)

For loading my crucible, I pack mine FULL with a light tamp BUT not a tight pack. So fill it up but don’t stuff it if that makes sense. If I don’t fill it up, I notice I get much less vapor so filling it up is the way to go for optimal vapor production.

For my draw technique, I hold the button and take a long draw at a slow or regular pace. When I’m ready to increase my draw speed or end it, I let go of the button and pull harder like I’m clearing a chamber when I smoke out of a bong. Majority of times, I am getting a good hit along with vapor production. The times I don’t, is when it’s the initial hit because of it being cold. It’s more consistent once the herb is warm enough.

I use the stock temperature settings because I used those exact temperatures when I used my Solo 2 so I found no need to change.

I typically take 1 hit on 338 and 2 on the rest and then I take 2 or more on 428f until the taste is deteriorated and vapor is thinning. I hope this helps everyone having issues or buyer’s remorse. This vape truly is underrated. Thank you Ghost for an awesome vape! Now if I could get my hands on a crucible dispenser that would be great! :)

Thanks for the reply,I got ripped a new one the last time I even hinted the mv1 wasnt up to par.i dont run in vaping circles so next to impossible to try one out before I buy and refuse to buy until I can try.i mean the thing seems to function well with experience but theres still all kinds of cosmetic things like paint chipping off the unit.i could look past that if it did the business though.managed to look past the poor finish on the pax3 so I know I could with the mv1.hahahaha there will be a new latest and greatest buy the time I'm lucky enough to find one to try

I’ve used the Ghost for 2 weeks now & so far I’m a little underwhelmed.

It seems over complicated & does have usability issues but I would completely overlook that if it produced consistently great vapor.

On the lower settings the vapor is thin & airy. On the higher settings I get 3 or 4 draws from a full bowl & the vapour still isn’t dense or satisfying.

Packing doesn’t seem to make a difference but I’m still testing different grinds.

The App is not as smooth or polished as Crafty or Firefly yet but I’m sure it’ll improve with updates. I’d at least like to see charging & battery percentage instead of the icon.

Battery life seems okay but the charging overnight before first use will disappoint a lot of people who are keen to use their brand new vape as it did to me.

Also having to remove the battery when not in use is a little annoying.

The price of a vaporiser doesn’t always reflect the quality or amount of vapor it’ll produce but I was expecting more from this one.

I’ve tried most of tips from the website & cleaned following the instructions.

It does work, but if I can’t get it to work a little better I know I’m just not going to use this one.

Hi @Poostuff !

Thanks for your feedback. Can you try to draw slower? I think it might be your draw speed. If that does not work, let me know and I can start a CS ticket. Virgil will be able to help you get the best experience.

Refer back to my post^

The battery is equivalent to (2) 18650 batteries. You do fully charge all your new devices before the first use right?

I didn’t see anywhere that mentions to remove the battery when not in use. I haven’t removed mine when not in use and still works fine. Try out my method and see how it works for you. I’m getting huge rips on red. It’s a full convection unit so it’s all in the technique.

I believe it has been discussed by Ghost and the community that when in standby mode (that is, after taking it out of shipping mode but its not "On" from the three clicks) the Bluetooth radio is still broadcasting/searching and if left like that the battery will discharge some.

If used often, no problem...you will prob never see it.

Me, I just pop the battery off and back on when done and its in shipping mode and hence inert.

Thanks for that.
I like using vaporisers & I want to like using this one.
I’ll slow down my draw while trying some different grinds over the next couple of weeks.
I buy a lot of vaporizers & often have to send some back for warranty repair, so I’m happy to do anything it takes to avoid this.

so um, i got a new unit. got the stealth. i was going to give it a good try. at 4 and 5, it worked quite well. good vapor. etc.

i'm still working on getting vapor exhaled at 3 lights. it's so so.

here's the funny thing, after all this bullshit, the fucking door won't close. i'm always gentle with stuff. it's my nature. i've put maybe 20 crucibles through it. latch broken. YOU GOT TO BE FUCKING WITH ME!

i asked the ghost people to open up a pack or 2, test it and when you are satisfied that it's a good unit, send it to me. i believe that this was done. thank you very much.

but the FUcking door won't close. i have tried to close it in several ways. with crucible, without, with inner thing pushed out and with in. it's ponderous man, ponderous.

now i have to deal with this company again. this unit didn't over heat, it at least worked well on 4 and 5, and now i got another paperweight. lol

i hate you people. send me two units next time. i'll put them through their paces and after one week, i will send back one of them.

you people are trying my patience.

as a matter of fact, hey @ghostvapesofficial . please forward this to your rep. have him do the same thing they did before and send me a new stealth. i'll send both of these units back when i get the latest and greatest.

i wish this was a scam to get free ghost MV1, but alas, i wouldn't waste my precious time.

FUCK!

have a lovely day.

oh and i haven't put the first vape in the mail yet, i will get around to it next week. now i'm running errands for ghost vapes. :)

Well.. it's not a threat but I'll only buy the MV1 when I can add the crucible dispenser in the cart too.
Europe vaposhop or zamnesia.

Anyone knows if there's a MV2 on the designing table?

That's not exactly the way I would go about trying to get help from a company. But good luck to ya brother.

Peese!
when i purchase something that is supposed to be a next generation best on the market kind of item, and i get not one but 2 units that suck, i'm annoyed. and even though the 2nd unit was better than the first, it still sucked once the battery was down to 2 lights. another selling point they don't seem to be aware of or are ignoring. polite and reasonable went out the window awhile ago.

i don't owe this company anything. they owe an apology for all the time i've wasted. all the money i've spent on the ghost and accessories. all the aggravation from buying an item from a company that quite apparently has no idea what quality control is or how to get loyal customers for a working unit. good customer service is great IF the product works anywhere near the hype. it does not. not even close. and great customer service on a shitty product just doesn't make it for me.

when they send the next paperweight, i'm hoping somebody with a clue gets me a working model. that closes and everything. better yet, send me a check for the price of the unit and i'll happily spend it on something else.

a miracle i shall declare it.

poor company having me yelling at them. lol

there's a sucker born every minute.
