All great advice from so many kind folks - thank you all for your perspective. I will try a cooler temp :-) especially for the second heat-up. Perhaps just move higher up the cap. The most annoying part is that my single flame takes a long time to heat up from cold- at home it's fine but when out I want it to be faster - perhaps a double flame plus titanium would be better hmmmmmmmmm

I typically top out w 2 big water rips on a stainless fully packed w just ground flower. I dont usually take it much further. To cooked for me.
This is exactly my technique too, but when I'm not at home - I want smoother... Thank you I will search for that youtube vid you mentioned.

Thank you to @StringTheorista for pointing out that the carb can help with this! and now I feel like I understand the Dynavap better - thank you!

@VaporWare for saying I could use an omni but just wit the carb partially open, which may be nice. Very cool.

@Moses Baca for pointing out that all the XL's are Ti. Very interesting - thank you.

Now I'm musing that Omnivap would be better than Omnivap XL because if the extra 17mm doesn't do much, then I'd rather have a more compact unit for when out and about. I guess the real question is to the lucky one who has both Omnivap and Omnivap XL -what are the differences between the two titanium champs?

So guys I'm close to pulling the trigger on a Grav sphere 10mm for the Dynavap. Tossing up between that and the conical. Anyone here have experience with either? I love the small footprint and size of the sphere just want to know if it functions well. Is the conical fragile with the sidearm? The alternative is the 14mm globe from Sneaky Pete but I hate that it's branded.
Thanks

has anyone drilled a stasher hole in another none containing stashbox?
I have a XL wood box without that and a small with one - which I love to store my hash.
I am not good with tools… any way to get this done?
Its wood it can be drilled.
Not sure what the question is?
I drilled mine to hold a stash container.

@Papi @Xclerk I need to pack it up and send tomorrow. I'm asking him to make like 5 Ti and 5 SS. Any thought based on what you have seen on his site? I like his big Ti bat without a removable mouthpiece I also think the top of his razor handles would make a cool mouthpiece but with the stem as one piece also. I want something longer and bigger than usual so maybe no condenser.

I keep staring at my razor handle thinking I wonder if the DV tip would fit. That would be a very classy look.
A longer and bigger stem would be badass, it could be known as the TWSS Stem. It is just so much easier to hold and roll your glass stem because it is wider.
Not going full Gandalf but I keep trying to think of a way to put two or three of my M stems together. Maybe uses extra o-rings and center a normal or XL condenser in the middle of two stems. Not as a true condensor but just to hold them together and let vape pass though. Maybe a wide o-ring or some kind of clamp around the outside where they meet for extra support. And block at least the bottom airport.

I have both. They are both fantastic and operate the same, producing the same results. The regular Omni, like my other regular length Vapcaps, being more compact, are perfect for out and about, but I prefer my longer XL Omni for around the house. I just enjoy the luxury of the extra length. It feels right. It's surprising what an extra 17mm makes.

Hey I have all 3 if the small 10mm grav bubblers .all 3 do fit as you know but as far as a hit I prefer the conical as it puts a touch of a spin like the older circuits. Or maybe just mine. As my down stem has a tiny bend to the tip. Also sits nice in the hand. None will freestand holding a dynavap tho. I do find myself playing with the round too. The upright just isnt for this .its cool for other small bangers and stuff but idk. I mean this is my personal liking but these 10mm pieces were a nice touch as smaller 10mm bubblers are getting more difficult to find. I plan on getting a bunch of 14f/10mm f adapters for my circuts. As the spin is awesome for this. Dont get me wrong the circuts are male rigs but size is dead on for filtering and compact as well.

Thank You Xclerk that is just what I was waiting to hear. I'm definitely getting the conical, and later down the track probably the sphere as well. This is why I love this forum. Always someone here with personal experience who is happy to share their knowledge. Can't wait to use it with my Shadow M.

@stark1 I love the long stem. It reminds me of the Grafix bongs of "days of yore". They were straight and you could buy them in lengths that you could not light yourself like 3+ feet.

My first piece of “furniture” we bought for college apartment was a 3 foot Graffix. We all danced around it in joy of our investment. Who needs a table or chairs when you have a magnificent bong in the center of the room?
Ahh those were the days (of combustion!)

We moved into our house about a year and a half ago, in the fall of '17. That next spring we cleaned all the junk that the seller left out of the garage and found this behind some boards way back in a corner. She's a shorty at just 2'.

Lol, the house was meant for us!

I noticed a smoker at work had his smokes in a metal can. I asked him where he got it, he said at the store beside his pub. I asked him if he could get more he said yes, he gave me the one he was using as he ran out of smokes. Also he said the pregnant chick was bumming him out. As soon as I saw it I thought vapcap case!
Outside of box:

Gotta have the magnet:

Rosin mode:

Flower mode:

I lined it with thin closed cell foam I had lying around, I want more of these tins. I will ask him where he got them in Toronto.
That is slick! That looks perfect for travel.

That's a classic!!. I never had one that big last. Then came the 5 foot acrylics that were impossible to use soon. Good for you. Shes a beauty! Guess thats your new edc lol. Good ol' can bottoms. Fits right in the pocket!?# Completely off subject ,Out of curiosity has anyone ever seen a shadow xl condenser. Think that would be pretty cool. Ive had a shadow sitting here I really didnt want to use till reading back a bit, somone had mentioned it being almost nonstick and it really kinda is. Either way I wanted to get it out because I have a pretty nifty tip on the way from @danielj well 2 and one of his screen tools! Cant wait for my new toys! My wife wants to shoot me. But i cant wait lmao. But anyway the point is, I just realized the condenser is even black!! Does this mean its not titanium and its stainless that has gone through the same process? Eitherway, now having made this discovery I really want my condenser to stay true even when it's an xl. If anyone has ever gotten a long shadow condenser or is doing a lava salt process lol hmu. Till then it will have to be a standard xl condenser. Is this ocd?

Now you're making me want to get the other two in the set! (already have the upright)

I got the sweet, extra long Birdseye maple in from @danielj. I love it, nice and wide like the TRWW glass stem. Long too. Feels great to hold, roll, and to pass over to others. It cools down the vape pretty good too. It doesn't seem to get second or third puffs like with metal or glass but it may be because I need to file those three holes in the tip like I did for the SS tip on the glass stem. I just do an extra long pull near to the cool down clock and still get a big cloud. Super light and seems very sturdy to last through my clumsyness.
Hopefully I got the picture posting thing down so I can show the size comparison and the cool. XXL box from Elevate. I wiped it down with beeswax to give it a little protection and shine.

@SquanchKava Nice!! i love the size. Cigar size isn't as portable but really nice to heat and hold.
Yeah it really just feels like your are smoking a Parodi cigar from Sunny Scranton Pennsylvania lol. My on the go is the Elevate box and 2018M with the spinning TI mouthpiece.

@danielj wooden stem reminds of something timeless, like it could be found in a ancient Shamans gear pack like this trading, tripping, and traveling feller here:

Just another traveller in the Cannaverse
For the past year I've been using a single-flame, table torch, and honestly I was pushing the limits trying to get the biggest hits. I was primarily going through water, heating mostly the lower half of the cap, going 2 seconds past the click, and I was really irritating my lungs. So I started cutting back on my vapcaps; really didn't use them much at all for almost 6 months. I can't remember the last time I cleaned them, cuz I haven't had to clean them.

For the past couple of months I started heating the uppper half of the cap and only going past the click on the first heating cycle. This really improved my experience, but still wasn't quite what I wanted.

Last week I started using a 3-flame torch exclusively and it's totally changed my vapcap experience. I'm heating just a skosh past the click on each heating cycle, doing mouthpulls when using natively, and getting 4+ heating cycles out of each load. I do a light tamp of a coarse grind into a full cap; about .1g.

I'm not coughing at all whether I use my carbon fiber XL or my Omni XL natively, or any of my DDave Water Wands through water or my J Hook. I'm getting massive hits in both Ti and SS. Really nice flavor for the first couple of heating cycles too.

The torches I'm using now are the Vertigo Cyclone for out and about, and the VVay both available at Amazon and both are in triangle shape. I think that shape does a better job of heating up the entire cap at once, and why I'm enjoying the experience so much more. The VVay is a beast of a torch-really quick heat-up and I love the size for home use. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07KFV189J/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

And there's nothing like the kick from a vapcap.

@SquanchKava what is that glass cooling stem in your photos? Looks nice and heavy duty!
That is the Glass Stem that I got from @RogueGuy. It is nice and heavy duty, and really cools the vape down. Feels great in thed hand and rolls easy due to the width. I love it.

A little Kava and coffee to keep me relaxed for some SS tip hand filling. I found this little dremel diamond file set at Walmart for less than five bucks and it works great. Just have to go slow and take your time.
Shells Up! Bula!
Maybe a little honest work playing in the background will help this honest work along :)
