Just FYI, I have noticed 3 or 4 of the images I have uploaded in the past have gone missing on tinypic.com. I don't really know what they were, but they are gone. They might have been something copyrighted, but I don't know for sure. I haven't noticed any of my posted ones showing the default tinypic icon...
If anyone notices one please point me to it so I can figure out what they don't like. None of them are newly posted.

Only problem is that its too beautiful to take a torch to just yet so I've been using it with my old Omni tip and cap ... my plan is to christen the complete piece on the night of June 17th which will mark the 41st anniversary of Guidry's 18 strikeout performance which is still a Yankee record ...

Basically, to post a photo to FC you need to upload it to a hosting site and then create a link to it on FC. I tend to use tinypic.com, but there are many other like imgbb and postimage. Just don't use imgur because that is blacklisted here by imgur and won't work.
Each hosting site is different, but they all have several ways to link your image to a forum page. The best is to copy the link that is surrounded with img tags right into your post as is. It will look something like this
[I MG]http://i66.tinypic.com/2vlnqbt.jpg[/IM G] without the spaces in the img tags. If you take out those spaces it appears like this:
