I just got 3 from Jared. 1xl and 2 reg size. Nice for the price. Now where r my extra dynamags and what's the best way to attach or inset in the corner away from the garages?

My XXL landed today. Super fast shipper. I am thinking of using JB Weld to put a magnet on one of the flat sides.

yes, Gru says "now thats what I am a talkin bout"

hefy wall and large O ring adapter...pretty clever of RWW

The other thing I researched/found, that results in a sturdy glass tube...is grinding the ends and mapp gas torching the ends it relieves the stress weakness caused by cutting the tubes

me? would like to...but given my eyesight, looking for a transparent stem would be stressfull I know there is colored glass, but cheap cheap cheap... white bori glass tubes bought off of the bay a while ago...20 % fit rate, and the ends were not treated. The glass would just crumble if the vc tip wasnt inserted just so.

ramahs I know about financial limitations If you are looking for thick glass vapcap stem, Rogue wax works may be your best bet. I did some web searchs for thick walled sight glass tubes They are out there in larger than typical VC diameter...which I think is the way to go to have s bit more durable stem, as the walls can be thicker. I believe RWW uses a larger diameter tube

Shit. I forgot what thread I was in. I wasn't thinking small stems for Dynavap vapes. I was thinking larger glass pieces. Thought I was in the glass thread. My bad.

Which is best for flower ddave vapor cooler or glass charlie xxl? What about a jhook?

The DDave has superior cooling but is less convenient because you have to stick the whole unit into the glass, whereas with the Glass Charlie you’re just using the SS or Ti tip. Also the DDave can be harder to clean.

The Glass Charlie still cools well, not as completely as the DDave but it’s more convenient. However it can be fragile and does get hot to the touch with successive hits.

Are a lot of you guys still using the coil kits, or have you moved back to more traditional methods (rigs and pens) for concentrate usage?

The Dynacoil with the Glass Charlie stem is my favorite way to do dabs. Lots of flavor, easy to use, great vapor.

So now that everyone has had a good amount of time with their coil kits, what is everyone's preferred heating method and duration?

Do you prefer a single, double, triple torch, or induction heater?

Are a lot of you guys still using the coil kits, or have you moved back to more traditional methods (rigs and pens) for concentrate usage?

I take this as a good opportunity to give a little feedback about the Coil which i have for some time now.

I have a bit mixed feelings about the coil:
  • Price: I have no problem to pay a bit more for good quality Products and i know that this is a niche item and it was my own decision to buy and try it but i have to say the price seems VERY steep when you hold the little thing in your hands
  • Installing: I have an older TI tip, the last version with 7 fins which always worked great for me. Inserting the Coil was not as easy as shown in the Videos, especially getting it over the points where you can set the screen at different heights. I had to use a lot of force and was only able to fit it in with bending the upper side of the coil. Since then i didn t take it out and i guess i will perhaps destroy it doing so. Definetely no solution to change around quickly, i want a second Tip now...
  • Heating: I heat it with the Torches i use also without the coil, i prefer my three flame one. I go a bit past the click but if you load quite a bit and heat it a bit longer, some concentrate can run into your condenser (i saw this very clearly with my glass charlie cooling stem)
  • Load size: For me it seems it is best used with very little material, i don t know if this is partially the case because i sqeezed it in the Tip...
  • Taste: This is where it really can shine. Without loading too much and with the right heating, i got some of the tastiest rosin hits i ever had. Period - if used right this is capable of great taste!
  • FX: it works good but for me it is more for taste and not for hitting like a train - i anybody has a good tip here i would like to hear it

My :2c: about the Coil

The Universe is our endless supply
There was a post a bit back on some coils a user had made and they had a pretty cool look. I tend to use 2 ccds and when using concentrates and even with the dyna coil I sandwich some degummed hemp fiber. Just a tiny bit. Doesnt take much at all. So its a stainless. Ccd on the very bottom / fiber / ti ccd/ then the dyna coil. I tend to get less wet hits this way and when you stand it on a mag to cool down it soaks right back into the fiber. I leave these in for a while and when I have nothing I can still get 5-6 great hits. The only issue if it gets too soaked ,after a while, sitting takes a decent pull and heat to get the draw started. Also started using my q-tip cottons for cleaning bangers in a fresh dyna. Love it no waste. I would always get mad throwing that tiny bit away. Now I dont have too. Snip the sticky tips of cotton off with as little clean cotton as possible and u get a good little hit off somthing u would have thrown away. Though I could do somthing w this idea since I havent heard anyone mention anything like it. So just sharing the love. This def works. Hope it helps some people. Thats my tip of the day lol. Hope some people get some fun out if it

ID = 8mm (walls should be a minimum of 2mm, making the outside
diameter (OD) 12mm.

RWW has a robust OD of 15mm.

Grav has 12mm tokers, give or take a millimeter,
Given variance.

That Grav Labs taster looks great with the tip and mouthpiece. Nice that it has the stopper piece too. Did you have to add any extra o-rings? Is that a SS or a TI tip?

yes, I wondered if you were referring to larger glass pieces. Im not into that, but I do hear that anything high quality glasswise is very pricey

That is going to depend on what you consider "high quality" and what you consider "very pricey". In my own experience I have several pieces in the $20 to $40 range that I think are both high quality and reasonably priced. But, if you go for "name brand" artists like MotherShip you can easily get to $1000 and up. My signature shows several of the inexpensive glass pieces I use.

This is probably the best place for this discussion.

@Monk Debate thats my same dedicated setup. Awesome flavor but the glass does get hot!

@Doktor Dub I'm new to the coil but here is my advice on two of your points. When heating hold it flat or at a slight incline. When hitting it, hold it tip down. I can sometimes hear the oil sizzle against the cap or tip but I never get any burnt taste and I dont get oil in the condenser. If you want huge hits, heat it all the way at the bottom of the cap where if you had flower you would probably combust. I found that concentrates need and can handle a lot more heat. As far as it not going in properly, thats a bummer.

Want to give a shout out to dynavap for how they handled the defective tip issue with my 2019M.

After seeing some pictures of the defective tips, I compared mine and sure enough, mine was a shallow cut 2019M tip. I contacted dynavap through email to let them know about this issue. They responded within 2 days, shipped out a new tip AND cap, no questions asked. My original 2019M was pre-ordered from them, so I think that made the experience much easier.

For the things I can knock dynavap for, they deserve props for how they handled my issue. I'm gonna give the non-defective tip and cap to a buddy who still combusts. The defective tip isn't ideal, but I can deal with the restrictive draw.

Reddit, and I, may disagree. The experience was quite awful from my perspective for the record.

I definitely want something easy to maintain. Got the grav mini sphere today. TINY and draw is tight like with a fully covered airport but you can get massive, cooler draws as compared to stock. Hmmm, maybe tip to glass charlie to downstream?

Want to cut back on bowl cleaning? I ordered some Stainless Steel 1/4 inch (6mm) Pen Wire Brush #532 with 1/8 inch (3mm) Shank for Dremel and Compatible Rotary Tool. I cut a soda straw one inch long that just fit over the bristles to fit in the DV bowl. Blow out the abv and just place the brush in the bowl bristle first, pull the straw off the shaft end. I then brush out the crumbs and crud in the bowl by spinning the brush. Makes the bowl taste better longer. Doc

I moved back to flatland in the 80s and never returned to my beloved mountains. My brain works better at altitude, nevermind the beauty of the mountains and the wildlife that comes with them. I have no excuse to stay here anymore.

Would I really leave right after cannabis becomes legal? Fuck yeah, I just have to figure out how to afford it...
