California voter registration deadline approaching

Just a friendly reminder that if you want to vote on Prop 19 or any other mater this fall and you are not yet a registered voter, or you have recently moved to a new address in CA, the deadline for sending in your registration is now a few days away, Monday October 18

You can fill out and print your registration form from the California Secretary of State website (https://www.sos.ca.gov/nvrc/fedform/), then send it in by mail. Once again, they need to be in the mail no later than Monday, October 18. As of this time there is unfortunately no way to submit your registration online, it must be mailed.

In addition to Prop. 19 there are several important issues on the ballot. Perhaps the next issue of interest to cannabis enthusiasts would be the race for Attorney General of California. The two major party candidates are Steve Cooley and Kamala Harris. The name Cooley may sound familiar to many of you, the reason most likely being due to the amount of shit he has reigned down on Los Angeles dispensaries owners, operators, and patrons during his current tenure as District Attorney of Los Angeles. He has been a DA who has continually and repeatedly made enforcement decisions regarding cannabis on personal moral beliefs rather than on facts, science, and good police work. I really dislike being told which way to vote, but I at least urge all California voters with a vested interest in the legality of both medical and recreational cannabis to look into his curriculum vitae here in LA before casting your vote.

Lets get this done! October 18th to register. Monday. November 2nd general election. That is a Tuesday.

BUMP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Vote you swine.

Yeah please do. It's not just about California or even the US. The criminalisation of weed started in your country and we need it to end there, because so many of us in the big wide world are subjected to Tweedledee policies, which will be so much easier to be overturned once yours are.

I'd vote if I lived in CA.

Lets stop locking people up and preventing them from getting jobs and providing for themselves and family just because they are smart and choose a safer form of recreation. That's the biggest thing to me, this law will STOP the unnecessary jailing of marijuana tokers who harm no one, not even themselves.

I hear everyone bitch about taxes NONSTOP. Vote for this and save tax money that would otherwise be spent arresting, prosecuting and jailing US.

Just bumping this as the deadline is Monday. You have 1.5 mailing days to get your registrations in the mail if you need to do so.
