I was having a fine day. Let me try to explain, since you ask.
I think I mis-interpreted your post wherein you said, "you can click on it on the site it will provide you 360 look and compared it to the mighty I don't think it will block airflow from mighty." I thought you meant there would be a picture of the Mighty in comparison to the sleeve. Your language was ambiguous, led to confusion. Your 'explanation' led me to the same link as before, with no pic, a second time, so I was a little frustrated.
Then, you mused about having Mighty case printed in 3D, titanium, and I asked whether it was even possible to print in Ti. Your reply was a brusque and rhetorical, "cmon man, how do you think the wpa adapters were made?". Your implication was that "the wpa's" were 3D printed titanium, which I found absurd. It seems others here have read your post the same way I did. This is why I answered, "Idk how the fuck the wpa adapters were made; I don't know what adapters you're talking about..."

Finally, I find the question you ask, "you are rude for no apparent reason mate, did you had a bad day?" to be passive-aggressive. Reading it made me uncomfortable, so I offer an explanation.

I'm more than ready to drop this, and I'll ask you, please let's simply drop this. I fully believe there is some sort of language/communication misunderstanding at the root.
The thing about the net which sucks is that people sometimes mean something in exact way, others interpret it different, I will be happy to drop this, I mean I had no argument from the beginning. Sorry that we misunderstood each other:) I will post pics with mighty once I will have it printed.

Hey ratchett I emailed you some time ago with a question about german vape shop which would want to retail your mighty v3 adapter, anything cooking up or did you even got that message?:)
I would be very happy to purchase it so as others:) btw how much cost the cheapest second class/economy whatever cheaepest way shipping to EU? thank you very much , wish you a beautiful day

Got the message, somehow it got buried into an autosorting folder without reading it :bang:

For sure international shipping sucks, sadly it's the lowest I can find for my small business, and the prices keep going up every few months (six years ago first-class international shipping was HALF the price it is today). That's why I've been working to partner with retailers around the globe to help distribute my products to customers around the world at a more reasonable price and speed.

You can find a complete list of my current authorized retailers here - https://delta3dstudios.com/authorized-retailers/ - VapoShop in Europe just received a large shipment of inventory from me, and I'm sending them another box of inventory within the next few days

Bumper silicone style case post from 2016
He adapted a box mod silicone case

I've been carrying around my Mighty like a wounded baby bird for fear of dropping it. I ordered a silicone sleeve that I hoped would provide some protection. Wouldn't you know it the day before I received the sleeve I dropped my Mighty! Luckily it was on my lap, slid down my shin & foot onto the floor. Phew! Thought I got lucky but when I looked at it the seam on one side is able to come apart a couple of mm where as the other side does not. Now when I attach the CU you can feel the damaged side open up when the CU tightens down...Fuck! My fear now is that another drop could cause it to fly apart sending Mighty guts everywhere. Next day my silicone sleeve arrives but it was too small at the bottom. I was hoping it would provide some corner protection for the bottom because that's what will likely hit if you drop it from your hand. I had to cut it off to make it fit so no corner protection but it does provide some drop protection. It also grips nice in your hand so its less likely to slip and if you lay it on a marble counter top it stays put and can't slide around. It goes without saying that it also insulates your hand from the Mighty's heat which is a nice benefit and also helps hold the damaged side together so it can't fly apart now if I drop it. Still wish I had corner protection for the bottom so I'll keep looking.

Here is a link to the sleeve that I used. If you find a better one let me know...email or PM.

My response to the idea, sounds like the always helpful @vapviking :)

@Elbuort19 - I'm worried that the wrap may cause excess heat buildup.

Perhaps just two silicone bands like:

https://amzn.com/B00V96H3K4

Or, @Ratchett could design a silicone cradle/sleeve : cradle on bottom, side bumpers stop just below CU connected by a band. Insert Mighty into it like a glove, but with open front and back for cooling -- like a modified iphone bumper case. He'll just need someone to loan him a Mighty.

But the bands above were too colorful, so found these instead. There were several posts about splitting cases around this time. I've never had any cracks or splits in either of my two, was just offering ideas to others

Thought this might help those with splitting cases.
Some bumper protection on bottom corners and sides as well.

Two ammunition cartridge bands, now working for peace.

hMaTXw3.jpg

I got these ammo bands before @nenmayk invented the form-fitted stand. They did offer protection. One at bottom, one at top just below CU. Good when vooping, only silicone bands touch when laying mighty on tile floor. Another member found them useful:

Dropped mine now probably 3 times onto gravel asphalt and concrete and yes there is damage but not enough to hinder it's mightyness. The ammo bands help and suggest to anyone looking for some bumper protection. Helps me when I put it in my front window in the truck to get warmed up. The rubber prevents it from sliding all over when driving. Also putting it down its soft as a glove lol. Just my two cents. After dropping my baby 3 times. These elastics help the case from splitting which is why I got em cause the concrete did the most damage lol. Oh and I dropped it a fourth time but the band's took the hit. I lost the url. But I know someone suggested these on page 344 or around there lol

Dropping Mighty will obviously cause plastic problems. But I have another pet peeve. Watch video reviews and it bugs me every time. They just twist the CU open. It hurts my eyes. Before getting my Mightys (yes, two), read here about cracking fins at top. When I got mine, I studied how the CU and base married with friction with angled spiral channels. The O-ring ensures pressure for good friction gripping, air tight seal

I instinctively press down slightly when twisting on or off the CU, like a child resistant cap

Pressing down this way compresses that o-ring, giving a bit of clearance for the plastic as it twists, eases stress, especially when it's hot

Speaking of video reviews, just saw one where the orange tool as kickstand hack was mentioned again. Uggg!! Accident waiting to happen, face plant city. S&B's refusal to make it stand reminds me of German cars years ago, refusing to offer functional cup holders. Designers thought you should be focused on driving I suppose

I would say hardened plasticine by how easily the fins go missing. I would say S$B made the Mighty with the round bottom so the user would lie it on its side when not being used, it can't fall over if it is already on its side, same as the Plenty(both seem to have afterthought kickstands though.

are any of you guys familiar enough with the mighty to answer this question -
the little piece of plastic along the top of the main unit broke off on one side.
the middle part moved a bit as i was putting on the cooling unit.
i put thick tape, not electrical, around the whole unit.
the middle part is now pretty stable. none if any movement.

would you use it and charge it or do you think it's dangerous at this point?

oddly enough, i have no idea who i bought this from. my emails start with me ordering a stand for the mighty but nothing to a vendor ordering it which will be a year this june. stoner problems.)

Greetings everyone, I'm new to the forum and a happy owner ofther the mighty, bought it for mere 200 bucks just because it's display only works sometimes, it seems like I could easily resolder it opening the mighty, but I didn't find any tips at all on Google, help on that issue would be greatly appreciated
Best regards from Brazil

remove sticker. (blow with hair dryer ,to soften glue )
remove torx screws (under sticker)
important:
do NOT lift both half's, but slide them in opposite direction one up/one down , there are 2 "holding tabs " on top which will break otherwise (don't ask how I know)
repair unit, change batteries, clean it....whatever..
close device,
fasten torx screws,
re-apply sticker, (same glue will be fine)
enjoy.

My advice would be to get some liquid capsules. You just use concentrates in them. It will taste better than a mix. Herb and concentrates require different temps to vape. Combining them isn't efficient.

There's nothing wrong with what your doing, but most I think like either or, rather than two together.

I agree, the liquid pad is the way to go, preferably in a capsule to keep the basket cleaner. although the mighty is not my favorite machine for concentrates. Concentrate with flower wasn’t my favorite, as the flower always tasted burnt by the time the concentrate was used up, no matter how little Concentrate and how much flower I used

the pcb with the screen is mounted with screws ,on the lcd side (front). you need to unscrew the pcb to get to the lcd.

hope this helps...

So put a little dab in basket and put liquid pad ( stainless steel pad ) on top n vape??

I’ve only been buying concentrate for a few months, all past Vaping for 5 yrs has strictly been flower

Idk what I’m doing I guess.

Load the liquid pad into the bowl or capsule and THEN load the concentrate. You want it to be on top of the pad so that it melts into it. I like the taste with some rosin on the pad. :p

I do this with dosing capsules. flower/trate/flower sandwiches. Works very well...matter of fact, that kind of load can start to wear me out before the sesh is finished. haha

I do not use liquid pads nor do I tend to use very much 'trates in my Mighty as I don't see the sense of gunking up a very good flower vape with easy to boil off 'trates for which there are a bunch of devices made across a wide range of price.

When using the native bowl for flower or the occasion that I do a sandwich with out a capsule, I always top it with a liquid pad. It adds a bit of conduction to the top of the load and keeps the CU and CU screen very clean.

I tried just the liquid pad with a few pieces of crumble

Good I guess. Maybe I should of put more in

Arth,

U are definitely right when saying u get a burnt taste when adding wax/shatter to the flower

But I start at 360 and work my way to to 410 threw the sesh so it doesn’t really happen to me til the end

But it is a strong burnt taste by than

I can’t tell you how many clumps of concentrate covered with burnt flower I’ve had to throw out. And I don’t think the mighty is very efficient when it comes to concentrates, even on the liquid pad. Like @Baron23 said, There are too many good concentrate vaporizers on the market to Waste concentrate on the mighty.

But in my very very humble opinion, the mighty is the best flower vape on the market, So I’m cool with It not being great with concentrates. However, in a pinch, the liquid pad in a capsule is definitely the way to go ;)

the mighty is the best flower vape on the market
It's such a subjective call, so no argument. I love love the Mighty and it has a place in our rotation. But the world of vapes has expanded exponentially. I have 2 others, both full convection, that outshine the Mighty in a couple of key areas (taste, time, ease of cleaning, etc.), so as to make it impossible for me to call a 'best'. I love 'em all!
Most of all I just love fucking combustion every day.
