Does rosin provide the full entourage effect of flower

i really enjoy dabbing sauces and live resin, but never get that full effect of a bowl of flower in my flowerpot or mighty. I've been getting unlucky with some purchases at dispensaries (sugar that tasted like solvent) and probably wasted a few hundred on concentrates that tasted awful, like i can taste chemicals. So as I look into rosin, was wondering if you get the full entourage effect of flowers off a dab of rosin (I like body high for stiff muscles)

I don't have a ton of experience with rosin, but the rosin I've pressed has only retained the essence of the flower when done at a low temperature. When I've gone too hot the volatile terpenes are lost.

That said, I think the best concentrate for retaining the taste and effect of flower is dry sift. However if you're planning to dab or use a pen, it can be difficult to clean dry sift to a point of purity which will not leave residue.

IMO, yes, rosin will feel more full spectrum than BHO. I also feel like co2 oil can feel pretty close to flower.
I've been dabbing a lot of sauce lately too, but really craving some hash rosin for that more full bodied buzz.

Full melt dry sift or water hash will be in its raw state and more full spectrum IMO than rosin as its raw (unheated) / less processed.

I have been using raw garden rosin and sauce this past week and it is very clean and enjoyable. That is the beauty of it. I do like my flower with my sbl og for full effect. Flower vapor just has that little extra taste that complete's it for me.

Anything worth doing, is worth overdoing.
It's hard for me to notice small differences in the quality of a high. I can sense the day time effect of most sativas and the sleepiness of indicas, but not the subtle differences between strains or type of cannabis. This is hard to explain.

Now flavor is different. I do notice intensity of flavor and broad differences such as citrus vs berry vs earthy, but not this type of berry vs that type of berry, etc.

I like the flavor of the first 2 hits of flower, but then the taste becomes roasted too quickly regardless of the type of vape. Over time I have found flower to be messy to work with. Concentrates have made the vaping experience cleaner for me and my "stuff". For me concentrates retain a strain's flavor longer during a session.

Of all the concentrates I've been using, I find my rosins to have the strongest flavor, closest in essence to the flavor of the herb it was produced from. This would be compared to the shatters, waxes, sauces and CO2 oils I've tried in the past. I started pressing rosin for the fun, the flavor, and the knowledge of what is in my concentrates.

I am also no expert in the field. Just a humble civic disobedient.

Raw Garden is making rosin again?

Haven't seen rosin from them in forever.

Hash rosin has a certain psychedelia to it that I don't really get with flower rosin. Maybe it's because it's more potent, but it tends to be the strongest hitting extract to me.

I think a lot of this has to do with the method of terpene preservation as well as the method of extraction. For example, a simple bho will strip indiscriminately unless you fractionally distill. A rosin or HCFSE should have better terpene preservation.

I've been wondering about this for a minute w/ 710's percy live rosin. So if I had $ for only 1 gram, what your saying is skip the 90u being pressed w/ heat & just get the starting 90u full melt.

All solvent extracts are discriminate in what they strip. Specifically based on the solvents polarity dictates which compounds it will extract. Butane leaves behind a large portion of polar compounds as it is a nonpolar solvent. Even a "FSE" is never really the true full spectrum compared to a mechanical extraction like hash rosin.

I don't have a lot of experience with full melt bubble but most of my hash forefathers will say go for the melt, BUT the persy is gonna vape up cleaner as its been processed through a filter bag, which is a big deal for a lot of people.

TBH for the money I've not really been blown away with anything I've tried from 710labs. Maybe I'm just picking the wrong ones but if you are able to pick from the CO market I'd probably try Dablogic or Green Dot Labs. If it's good it's good though, you know how it is :D

Thanks man! Dablogic SHO it is! You deliver once again! Got a friend headed out there for business & I'm gonna have him pick me up a g of that & a g of some rosin sift caviar. First time trying either.

@mixchu69 What up dude! SV6 ? Whaaaat!

I'm disliking BHO more & more everyday, & really only prefer them for sandwiches. I haven't tried hash pressed rosin, but I prefer flower rosin over most BHO I've tried. Way better body high IME.

For flavor nothing beats the hash itself but it's so easy to burn it so it has plant matter.thats why I love hash rosin. You can hit it at higher temps (not high temp but you know) .710 lab persey is good !

Hi @Morty ,
How u been? Always good to see u around.

Just waiting to buy a dabpress AIO, but want to sell my Newvape plates before. I just hope pressing rosin is not a 3 month hobby and I get lazy and go back buying concentrates from dispensary

IME, no. Better than a lot of hydrocarbon extractions but not like fresh flower.

Now this is just me, but I keep trying all kinds of other formulations/consistencies of cannibinoids and still keep coming back to flower as my favorite effects.

'trates for the boost, flower for the full spectrum is how I see it. Of course, others see it differently.

If it turns out to be a hobby you tire of, sell the dab press then. Somehow, it seems to me it won't be something you lose interest in. In less time than you can drive to a dispensary, park, check in, and wait in line, you could press your own, @mixchu69. But, I get excited when people get a dabpress. It's just such a fun, happy, thing to do.
