Strains that make you laugh?

Hi there,

I was wondering if you guys have a specific strain that never fails to lift up the spirits / gets you laughing or giggly quite easy. Was also wondering if a certain temp is related to this (like how this might be related more towards a mind vs body high). I've enjoyed the times when I just couldn't stop laughing after vaping, so looking for that specifically while avoiding couch lock

I prefer hybrids for most situations and mostly only vape indicas closer to bedtime. I vape sativas in the lower range for a perked up experience without too much edge. That's my general approach and then I'll vape within that framework to make the most of a given strain.

My favorite strains of late are Acapulco Gold and Goji OG. Both are plenty uplifting. For me uplifting mostly just translates to "not indica" and every hybrid has a unique character I can appreciate.

I also like flavor so I'll stick to my Splinters for any tasty strains and start low to make the most of the terp hits.

My favorites for such effects are Strawberry Cough, Acapulco Gold, Trainwreck, Viper and Chocolope strains. Durban Poison and Super Lemon Haze work well too, as well as other strong sativa strains (such as Sour Diesel, Mowie Wowie, etc).

I was afraid for this, though I vape only a few times per month so I think (hope) my tolerance is relatively low! I'm not sure whether the strain mattered or not, hence the question!

Tangie’s another that has worked that way for me. It may have a lot to do with low tolerance, but I think the strain does make a difference and I’d say some of the Sativa leaning hybrids (maybe some of the more citrus-smelling strains?) are the most likely to help get you there.

I’m far from an expert on this side of things though, so I could be way off.

Not sure about giggling/laughter, but in lifting the spirits I've found the original Sour Diesel to be the king. (None of the variants have the same effect, but the original SD made it impossible to feel that pressure behind the eyes, some call it "welling-up" I believe. It just took away the bad and left with one with a solemn-content feeling.
