Vape for concentrates

Hello FC

I am considering a stealth vape for concentrates.
Something like a pen or concentrates dedicated 510 atty. Not a pufco peak - too big. Also not interested in a vape with a concentrate mode. Have those already. Stealth is the key, would like to puff in a crowd with noone knowing what i am doing.

Experiance so far is the divine tribe v2. More for dry herb i know but with a liquid pad cut down, works well. What do u recomend?

If you’re good with thinner concentrates that you could put in a CCell cartridge then that would fit your requirements better than anything you mentioned I think. With the right battery (like a CCell Palm or I believe a PCKT One Plus which I don’t have yet) most people can easily have just the mouthpiece sticking out of their hands, and at least with the Palm I can easily just cover the entire thing in my hand. They’re really tiny.

As for doing it in a crowd, at a concert people will probably be fine with it, but if you want to do it in places where you don’t want anyone to notice, you may need to modify your technique (very short draw held until there’s no noticeable vapor on exhale seems to work for me) or hit the bathroom for a min or something.

That part would be true for any vaporizer, but these are particularly easy to do it with since they’re tiny and inhale-activated.

If you want to directly use thick concentrates though...hopefully someone else will have a good answer for both of us. I don’t really like glowing coils, and that seems to be the basis of most mod attachments unfortunately.

I’ve got the Pckt One Plus. It is a beast. And I have a CCell, silo. This is the absolute best. Temp control which eliminates the harshness, and you don’t have to rip a lung to get a hit. I can take small discreet hits without coughing! Pckt One Plus on sale now!

I use my saionara with rosin, it works great. Terp city. I don't like glowing coils either, so I use the ceramic donut coils. The heating wire is encased in ceramic. I get tasty hit after tasty hit. And you don't need many hits. The vapor is thick and rich.

They do make a lot of coil options as well, plus quartz and ti buckets, for a more dab rig style experience. The buckets are heated by ceramic coils, so no exposed wires here either.

Stealth wise, it's slightly smaller than a fury2. (with a 75w pico mod from puff it up) It can easily be covered in your palm. (unless of course your tiny handed like the orange one) Chunky but small.

You’re talking about the One Plus having temp controls, right? I’m pretty sure the Silo doesn’t, and that’s why I’m seriously considering a One Plus and hoping that it will let me draw for more than a second without coughing.

I know part of it is the non-cannabis terpenes in too many of my cartridges, but I’m pretty sure some of it is the fixed high temperature on the CCell battery.

Anyone else have better luck with the One Plus? I’m assuming its settings can go *lower* than the CCell batteries?

Edit: A quick search showed that the One Plus’s volatage starts at the same as the CCell Palm (3.7v) and goes up from there...if that translates into even harsher vapor then I’m not interested, but I don’t know if they give the same results at the same voltage or not...

Not really in to vaping premade carts. Not easy to get in the UK and dont want to vape VG.

I already have a stempod. Would i be able to vape concentrate directly on those coils?

You can buy empty carts and fill them yourself, and you don’t have to use VG (I don’t like it or other similar substances in mine either), but I haven’t really looked into all of the ways of getting concentrates into the right consistency so it may or may not be the best choice for you.

I’m sure you could put concentrates on your Stempod’s coils and get results, but I’m not sure that would be good for it and I am sure that putting concentrates directly on metal coils is not the best method we have available. The Saionara @shredder mentioned above is one of many better options.

Sorry had some issues posting. I used pocket 1 and it is good. However using the evic basic mod? avs molecue with tip using concentrates is great. Paranormal in the back with Drop solo.

Someday someone will come up with a better additive to dilute solid concentrates than PG and VG. I understand that the jury is also still out on liquid terps, whether it's the origin of the terps, the price, or the harshness on the throat. The science just hasn't caught up enough for me. My main source of concentrates is rosin and some shatter at times. I would love to get one of those little ccell palms and load my own carts but not quite there yet.

For now I wrap my concentrates in cotton and vape through my log vape and also a Fury 2. Works real well. Once you soak the cotton with warm concentrate, all the fibers prevent leakage and very little if any leaves the cotton. For the Fury 2 I use a glass attachment most times and that contains everything with no mess. I also believe loading the soaked cotton in those herb capsules they sell would work well and you can bring a few on a trip and swap them out.

I just bought a donut 2.5v Divine Tribe and I'm still getting the hang of it, but so far pretty good.

You already have the Divine Tribe dry herb atty, why not get their ceramic concentrate atty?

Very true, and the older 2.5v models are like 12 dollars with shipping incl. Can't beat that with a stick.

It's very easy, you just need a syringe and the right type of extract. Some distillate, co2 oil, liquid live resin, even some high grade hash rosin + jar tek will get you there with zero dilution or additives.

Trying to dilute other types of concentrate to force it to work in a cart is not the way to go.
