unbearably light in the being....
Brilliant! Probably my favourite Rory Gallagher song... I saw him once in the National Stadium, Dublin... must have been about 1978. Not baked now but I will be later... Irish Tour 74 rules OK :peace:
You and me both, Ricardo! Never saw them, but have been a big fan since Tattoo...and yes, Irish Tour ‘74 rules indeed!

Back in the late 60's/early 70's, I was in love with this woman and to this day, I still think she had one of the most underrated voices of that era, let alone the fact that was fucking gorgeous. That voice of hers accompanied me on many an acid trip and VERY good ones at that. There was just something magical when she got together with Jorma, Cassidy, Balin and Kantner. Literally took me to places I've never been.

.....and I'm still feeding my head 50 years later. So Grace, even though you’re an old woman now with long gray hair and living in a box of paints (ode to Joni) in Malibu, I still love ya......

Epstein didn't kill himself
Jorma as the Barbecue King - Vital Parts didn't last long, but I was fortunate enough to catch them at the Blue Note in Boulder in '81.

I'm a big Jorma fan. Notice he is finger-picking with metal finger picks as opposed to just a pick. Bonnie Raitt uses plastic tips. I've had a couple acoustic classes from him. Very articulate. Maximum patience explaining fingering. Neat guy.
