Hey FC, whatcha gonna get for 4/20?

I didn't get much this year. I was bummed to have not been able to squeeze-in the 2019 M pre-order, and get the Karmavap as well, but ended up not getting any new vapes this 4/20. I did however get a new piece of glass that I love, which I consider my 4/20 present to myself this year. So I'm happy to have gotten myself something.

Like @ClearBlueLou said, next year will be 4/20 for a month, and since it's a once-in-a-century kind of event I assume that many companies will run sales all month....so I do indeed hope to save-up ahead of time for that. After all, it'll only happen once in our lives.

I held strong against the VAS this year and only made one purchase, a bubbler from BWG. I got it at 24% off so hopefully I will be enjoying the new piece sometime this week, already received an e-mail that it shipped today.

I came very close to buying the flowerpot but decided not to spend that money right now. Someday...

You mentioning BWG reminds me that I have a HUGE (ie: *much* bigger than I imagined when I ordered it) - well, glass bong? The first glass piece ever for me, a real mismatch: it’s designed for a young person’s lungs. A young person with lungs and huge tracts of cannabis.... it’s an 18” straight pipe with fussy two-stage percolation and an 18mm joint that is heavy, impossible to clean, and a genuine pain in the neck, very literally.

I should do something with it, but I can’t think what: I’ll never use it (or any other straight pipe) ever again, it’s undamaged...I’d try to give it to someone, but they might figure I didn’t like them anymore. A boroscience (?) copy (how I learned about copies). Ah well. Too much time, no company, no medicine, blood-red state.

I like to offer my in depth and nuanced analysis where needed

I'm very enjoying hearing about what people are receiving from their orders. Before the sales ended, I slipped in a shower perc mini rig. It's just over 5 1/2 inches, but I was wanting something in the smaller category. It only cost a few dollars more than an adapter I recently purchased. I'll soon be full up on inexpensive items, and need to win the lottery here quick to afford the rest.
