The Plug-In Supreme Vaporizer

I have upgraded my cheap China Enail controller with a High5 Basic controller and flat coil
Hey Lazy. What happened to your RDK-200 ? And how's that High 5 coil fitment ? ls it loose at all or a pretty snug fit ?

This vaporizer extracts like no other!
Regardless of looks, how it is made etc...It hits like a train, on time every time!

Time for a quick dry hit video!
335C and 0,05g!

So each vape gets it's own appreciation and I try not to compare them to the king!
I know you love your GS & it's up there too, but what makes the SV4 king over the Symphony for you.

Thanks!

Edit: Nevermind. Found it! http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/supreme-vaporizer.317/page-178#post-1307149

Damn man. Your making me want a 4!

Still using my SV4 and it just keeps getting better and better!
I was using it at 305C and it was great! Clouds and flavor and effects!! Trifecta!!
Over the last day or so I have been moving the temp up a few degrees every bowl and am now at 335C.
Better extraction, denser clouds, more robust flavor and hits like a train!
Perfect 100% convection, every time using the VapoCane bowl setup.
Also switched to pretty much dry WT's and the flavor and effects are even more pronounced!
I just have enough water to reach the bottom of the perc, mainly just to trap any particulate.

I wonder if this vape will ever take off?
Pretty rocky start to a highly anticipated vape...
Don't be discouraged though, use your own equipment and it is a rock solid performer!
How do you fit the 18mm only SV4 (according to page 1 it can "- Can only be used with an 18mm female connection (for now)") onto the vapocane 14mm female connection?

I may have found the perfect convection bowl for the Supreme v4. https://www.elev8glassgallery.com/v...s/elev8r/elev8r-vaporizer-water-pipe-adapter/

What temps do you all use for the convection mod for the SV4? I just got mine and did it at 875 which did work pretty well. Does anyone else notice a slight odor from the metal? Maybe it's just cause it was just in a mailbox or maybe it's from the heated silicone who knows.
edit:
I think I figured out the cause of the smell. I wish I had understood that it can be a good idea to change the silicone if it looks too used cause when I tried that I found that the original one (only the one touching the metal directly) had already melted on. At least I think the issue should be cured by changing the silicone and seller included extras. I'm almost sure it must be the melted silicone that made the smell cause I can't imagine aluminum having that much of a smell when heated.

875 = 468 CELSIUS!!!
WTF bro, that is way too hot!!

Try 600 Fahrenheit and go from there.
Did you get any instructions with your SV4? It says not to go that hot...

Will try and find my instructions and scan them in for you as a reference!

@DudeeBalls
Here is a Dropbox link to the 2 pages of instructions.
Right at the top it says to not go over 800F.

I wasn't able to get clouds at that temp maybe the coil is too loose. I didn't get instructions with it and it came with a loose fitting coil and no original bowl just a 18-18 m-f with a screen inside.

Well let's get you going right then!
If you read this thread, you will see that when I received my SV4, the coil I bought was about 1/2 as wide as the opening on the side. No contact and it just wobbled around and there would be no way it would work.
My fix was a stainless steel washer to take up the extra room.
It is nice and solid now and works as it should.

We need to get you going so you do not harm yourself with burning silicone vapor and anything else off-gassing at those crazy temps.

Give me some more info and I will be able to help you out and get it working like a champ!
Descriptions with measurements or some pictures will really help!

I think that info about the washer should help and maybe that combine with putting the end right up to the screen over the bud instead of just above it. Now that I know more I kind of wish I had gotten the v3 with the plates mod cause then I could do torch mode as well. The guy who sold it to me said I should be able to use it with a torch but needless to say when I asked the creator he said that's not a good idea cause those crazy torch temps could melt the welded pocket for the coil. What do you all think about the v3 with plates vs the actual v4? Any preferences? I'd also like to get some stem bowls with screens built in or at least one like that but their not available at the moment (once they are though I can at least get that).

Finally tried this out! I have always been very interested in this one. Got a Newvape flat coil and pid. Picking up a few different size stainless steel washers. I read through the entire forum I think I’m ready to go! Let’s see how long it takes to arrive.

I just received my Supreme 4 yesterday. I paired it with a NewVape flat coil and pid that fit perfectly. This vaporizer is heaviest hitting vaporizer I’ve hit by a landslide no question!!! :fire: Extracts so hard off of so little! Tastes and affects or phenomenal!

I have to admit I was extremely apprehensive if I was making the right decision. I’ve tried several different temperatures so far I think I like 575°F. I’ll be doing several experiments throughout the week and especially this weekend so this might change

I spoke with Ed for a few days going back-and-forth about the things I would need through email. I asked him to send me an invoice I paid it and the next day it was shipped. It arrived at my days three days later. Put it together when it arrived let it heat up for six minutes. Once it’s heated up it just keeps going and going and going you can do back to back to back big hits with deep extraction every time! I really love full convection mode with the elev8r bowl. When I really want to do a mini mini mini micro dose I used the supplied bowl that comes with the Supreme and had great results without waiting for the bowl to heat up. When you use the bowl that comes with it, it seems to have more air restrictions when you pull. That’s not an issue for me.

People need to know about this vaporizer! Especially if you have pid already just grab a flat coil and the supreme from Ed. When you stick the flat coil in if it’s a little loose you can do a LIGHT compression on the center of the area that holds the coil to make it fit more snug. Once the coil is snug and flat, tape your socks on because they’re going to be knocked off. Get this vaporizer believe me you will not regret your decision!

Apparently most flat coils are all the same size . Some coils brands will be thicker and some will be thinner. Which I didn’t find out until I started researching. NewVapes fits great is reliable and inexpensive.
What’s the size though ,16mm? Or larger

That was the thing I didn’t quite understand at first either. There are 20 mm 16 mm and then there is just flat Coils. Look it up on the internet and you will see what I’m talking about. 20 & 16 wont fit. Just regular flat coil. You will see when you research. I was thinking exactly the same thing and was frustrated I couldn’t get a size until I saw the differences on the Internet. Also Ed the maker of the Supreme gave me the info also. Hope this helps

Today is day 6 of owning my Supreme 4 vaporizer with NewVape’s pid and flat controller. I’ve been setting my temperature at 570F and I mix it up from using for convection and Ed’s bowl. I really love using both methods. Convection mode makes the taste a little better, and Ed’s bowls make micro dosing insane! Either way there is supreme extraction with both methods.
I usually do dabs during different parts of the day but with the Supreme I haven’t even felt the urge to dab. I just purchased a new dabbing rig and I’ve been forcing myself to use it but really have no urge at all because of the sheer power of the Supreme 4.
The funniest thing about this vaporizer is I was a little embarrassed to put it on the forums that I was even considering this vaporizer. I was afraid people were going to start telling me it sucked, I was making a horrible decision, or that I was going to purchase it and not get it to be able to perform correctly.
So my desire to Dab has gone down and the amount of material I use has gone down drastically! I’ve also been higher than I’ve ever been in my 25 years of experience, 10 of which have been with vaporizers exclusively!
I am in love with this vaporizer and I still have some experimenting to go. Can’t wait for my extra bowls to get in from Jcat , and Ed. I’m going to be experimenting with dabs with Ed’s bowls when I receive my extra bowls.
This is a hidden Gem, I realize Ed got help to a rough start with some crappy controllers and pids. He doesn’t even sell that stuff anymore just the Supreme 4 for $200.
He does have extra bowl sets for $12 each. I paid $80 for the pid and the controller was $35 from NewVape. If you wait for the 420 sale you’ll get 20% off of that at NewVape. Make sure you let Ed know where you purchased your flat controller from and he’ll be able to make it a snug fit, and if it needs to be tightened you do light compressions in the center of the pocket where the controller sits until it’s snug.
The only negative that might be an issue for some people (although not myself) is the draw restriction when using Ed’s bowls. When your using it only for convection mode the draw restriction is no longer an issue. I hope other people give this Vape a shot people really don’t know what they’re missing. This Vape is the hardest hitting Vape I’ve ever used, and it uses the least amount of materials.

Got in touch with Ed. He'll sell me everything but the 10mm stovetop enail and the controller. Just ordered the nail and will order the box but would like to know how to fix in the coil into the block because from the pics I've seen of the sv4 block itself I cant seem to find something
