Does anyone know if coojo glass caps for,the liger work the new vape d-cup?

Thinking of taking the leap but want to get more feedback on sapphire versus obsidian.

Looks really nice but im always dubious of enails as ive tried pretty much them all and a drop tech quartz insert is still my go to. I am in the market for an enail once the new studios built and i love the flowerpot. Good luck!

@Dubmonkey, @newvape918, I second that emotion:

Coojo Glass makes the best carb caps EVER, is REALLY fast and responsive with the customer service (he made me a cap and matching rig in 3 days... while moving his glass studio from MI to CO) and would just generally be a GREAT partner for you guys.

I'm not sure with the retaining lip if his caps would fit the D-cup as-is, but he would def. blow a custom if you sent him the nail. I would trust him with my best glass, fits, whatever.

Im super interested in this.....if there could be a version with a slightly longer neck away from the joint, as it is there is no way I could use this with my Atom or either of my Ions.

I said a long time ago, take the basic idea from CCA and slap some of that NewVape quality and precision on it!

Ordered a Coojo glass cap last Friday 3/29 and it will be here Saturday. It was a custom glass color too.

Hoping it fits DCup.

I'd love to hear feedback from anyone who has dabbed off both an obsidian and sapphire surface and could describe the differences they noticed?

Trying to decide which one to get first, as the NV options are the same cost but I'll only be buying one to start with.

Not in a Dcup but in several other setups, Obsidian cleans up better then anything else you'll find, and transfers heat better then anything else. Sapphire holds more heat and allows for overall lower temps plus IMO saph has the "cleanest" flavor, but you trade a lot of durability and money for that extra bit of performance and flavor. Obsidian can take the hottest flame you can throw at it for days and come out brand new where the saph can be thermal shocked pretty easy.

Awesome, thanks!

So with only $0.75 difference between the two, and if you had to buy one only, you HAD TO, which one would you go for? :)

Id come down to what material I was going to use and my use case. Honestly the obsidian is a much better daily driver because you pretty much can NOT kill it....torch.....dirty rosin......thermal shocking.......leaving oil to get burnt on, Obsidian doesn't sweat any of these things. Sapphire oh the other hand cannot be directly torched, IME doesn't handle rosin all that well, cannot be thermal shocked without consequence and generally is harder to clean then other materials let alone SIC/Obsidian (20mins@900o vs torching until its cherry hot red)

tldr;

Both, but Obsidian first IMO

We considered making a longer neck for the flush style connections. But we felt a glass adapter would be a cheaper solution. After 420 let's revisit this?

Just going to say my sapphire (and ruby) clean up sparkling with my rosin ... it's my easiest to maintain setup yet! (that being said I haven't tried obsidian, just SiC). Perhaps it has something to do with polish? Or maybe this is temp dependent? (the NV sapphire looks sparkling clear too ... so looks like a high polish!) I'm finding 1-2 dry q-tip(s) right after my dabs, and it comes pretty much completely clean; a few times a day, before I heat it up (while at room temp), I take out my sapphire (or ruby) insert and wipe down with an ISO wipe and then it's 100% clean like new.

Sapphire is pretty awesome :)

Ir actually stands for Dab Cup. Not a silly schoolboy name by the way.

Except that it's clearly a play on words using a common innuendo. It's pretty disingenuous to pretend that's not the case.

I don't find it offensive, personally, but I do think the cannabis industry could do with less of this type of stuff. Especially if they expect more mainstream acceptance. :2c:
