MiniVAP Vaporizer

I have to say I am still loving the minivap. I can't believe how long I went without one. I have the Teflon Peek and it straight rips. I've been hitting on red with the Fury 2 bubbler with the Flexicone + as suggested in previous a post. It provides just enough filtration that red is not harsh and not too much filtration to where it kills the flavor. And I got a chance to finally talk to Jorge and it was a pleasure he was patient and added extra items to my order and shipped super quick no issue. I have the Mighty, Crafty, Evo, firefly 2, fury 2, Extreme Q, and I appreciate all of them for what they do and how well they work. They all have pros and cons. The Minivap at the top of its class. I cant wait to grab a GC soon. Thanks guys for all the info I appreciate FC and the community it has definitley been a strong tool.

Hello everyone, i just recieved a beautiful minivap trough a trade and really love it so far, sadly its the slow heating version. So i am considering sending it to minivap for the fast heat up core. Now there is the question since i heard that the glass heating core is better in some kinda way i wanted to ask if should go for the quick heat glass core update from my teflon version. The hard part about it is that it would cost 150 bucks all together.
So pls help me out with the decision, is it worth it?

I've had a few minivaps over the years including the teflon, glass, PEEK, old heater cores and new quick cores. the difference between the old teflon (now PEEK) cores and the glass cores is really not much. both give great flavor and can really extract. I think the glass core provides a slightly quicker and more aggressive extraction, but it's not a huge difference. flavor is subtly different, but both are great. definitely worth springing for the quick core upgrade though.

I'm definitley going to grab another Quick Glass Core with battery next 50 off sale. Very happy with the minivap.

Thanks a lot, so I guess I will keep my Teflon core and will update it to the quick heating core. The only problem so far is the heating time.

I've got an original teflon and glass core plus the teflon QC. I prefer the teflon core and for the most part use the QC version, and to be honest, if I want a hard finishing hit or two, Red heat level does me right.

The update will be worth it.

Thanks but mV picture guide is currently held captive/ for ransom my PhotoBucket-bastards. Retroactively cut off access to previous pics unless you $$$. Off topic, but what's a good replacement for storing pics to enable posting them here?

Ataxian--FYI, there are about a million ways to use mV so keep experimenting. For grins, try the AC puck to make it a desktop. When I first got mV, it was 100% battery use and then when I made a vape station-----OMG that AC puck cuts weight by 2/3 and very compact unit so now it is 99% AC puck.

Please post pics of all your mV pieces and how you connect so we can see/offer up some other great options.
Did you get @Ratchett Delta 3D Song??? Highly recommend for its' added value.

One option with it is below: White Flexicone top, pictured in mV cover, with Song snapped onto it. Imagine a round screen clipped into Flexicone, with wire basket filled with CA dank herbs snapped into Flexi (Flexi in pic is upside down from normal position) . MiniVAP body would be screwed into cover and powered by battery OR AC puck. Get a Song for a song at Delta 3D !!!

??? What did you get: Quick Core with Teflon??? You and glass core=disaster in the making ;)

RE fit and finish-- I briefly had a VXL EVO and it is a great vape BUT..... to me it looks like it is made from
recycled plastic milk jugs where the mV is a superbly crafted/constructed / engineered/ work of functional art !

We await further reports -- superior flavor and efficiency abound in miniVAP land
Get medicated with a MINIVAP

@ataxian -DON’T have your minivap on the charger while it’s turned on. That’s the only no-no I can think of. It looks like you have it on there while not plugged in for show, which is fine. But we don’t want it charging while in use.

Other than that, like @MinnBobber said, there are a lot of ways to use it. Have fun!
I wAnt to get a pound of COLAS 4 my MINIVAP
Looking 4 a new portable however no luck?

Hey, I've texted Hermés twice in 2 mos.& haven't received any reaction from them. My question is simple , I've been thinking of purchasing an MV . What I'm looking for is the one with the best flavor. A friend told me the portable MV Original Core was the one. If this is true how long is the heat up time?
I'd appreciate all opinions. Thanks.

The original Teflon core has the best flavor for me. It also has the longest heat up time of 10+ minutes.
Once up to temp, it is good to go for about 3 hours on a fully charged battery.
I own the OG Teflon, Quick core Teflon and the Glass core and only the glass core gets used these days.
Massive one hitters in my water tools with amazing flavor and intense effects!

The OG core served me well for almost 6 years and still works!
I use it occasionally and it is my wife's favorite vape to use when she feels the urge to try something.

In all my years of ownership, I have never had a flat battery with my MV.
It's always ready to go for as long as I can handle it.

You will not go wrong with a MiniVap!

I have all 3 cores as well and agree the OG teflon has the best flavor, but it's not a huge difference. However, the quick core heats up so much faster, it's worth the little loss in flavor. Quick core teflon flavor is still really good and waaayy faster

Team NO SLEEP!
been far too long!

Been spread thin between work, family and a new baby.
Amazingly, for the first time in a long time I feel FC has me totally satisfied on all fronts.

Current arsenal: MiniVap, OmniVap [flower and concentrate coil], Ghost MV-1, eNano, and a phat Dabpress 10t3x5v. The only new thing I've ordered, and I pulled the trigger last night, is the new Rio from Stache.

Getting the Rio is me giving the middle finger to all pens. Fuck pens and I never want to look back!
Cold start portable torch hits for me from now on:rockon:

Should I go through minivap.com to initiate the process?

This is where the glass core shines, it milks like hell my watertools and the vapor is still like butter, incredible!

Going through a bowl of some Platinum Kush as I speak through my minivap, couldn't agree more!!! I've been noticing the battery on my device has been getting weaker and weaker as of late though, might be time for a new battery?? Nevertheless it always works as a fantastic desktop device also so we're never out of options even if the battery fails!!!

Giving the Glass Core MV a run tonight and it is so satisfying!
Heat up on RED and just rip bowl after bowl.
So tasty, so much vapor and such potent effects!

Still debating on sending one of my other cores in for the glass upgrade.
Also need to look into getting the AC puck, even though my battery lasts forever still on a charge.

It's a pity this vape is not more popular!

Many reasons but the mains are the price, the silicone and the size.

I think it might sold better if it was listed as a Desktop vape with battery option. The desktop option called "single" in the shop is the cheaper.

They have to add a bowl to use this vape like a log vape, this is remove the silicone from the airpath although only the QGC works very well in this configuration for me (and I haven't the smaller bowl the QTC need) and I use it mainly like that with a bubbler or with a stem.

I think they have to move to the QGC only which is more satisfying and easier to hit, with previous version you had to work to build vapor with long and deep inhalation, in this aspect it's easier to get big vapor with the glass core and if you want to get this slow extraction you'll only have to lower the temp (I use mine on green and red most of the time).

This is the king of vapes (for me), tasty, thick, powerfull and smooth. Perfect for true microdosing too with a bowl setup log vape configuration.

The flavor is really decent.
Their are different styles of vapes.
Some like flavor?
Some like effect?
Some need both?
Some preference convection?
Some preference conduction?
Some R medical?
Some R recreational?

Their in not a best vaporizer?
Just a way 2 enjoy CANNABIS?
I like the MINIVAP for Flavor?

I wish it was smaller but in my case it’s fine considering the technology that was available at the time?

I have the teflon QC premium kit (battery and power puck) and the decarb ring. I have the delrin adapter 14mm and I used to mate it with glass.

Man, what a device. It's been so underrated since it was released, and I agree that it shouldn't have been marketed as a portable necessarily, rather a desktop replacement, because that's what it feels like. Goes for similar money to a Volcano, and is a far superior vaporizer in my opinion (having used both, and having owned a MFLB and a Mighty).

I changed jobs not long after I got it, so it's been sitting quietly in the CaseLogic camera bag you get with the premium kit for ages. Wish I could plug it in a hit it on the couch.

Glad to see people still love it.
