That cap is really nice!

Woohoo!
But now I have a metaphysical dilemma. My inner magpie wants to swap caps and keep the one that "karma" before passing along the '18 M with the plain cap. Would I lose actual karma by keeping the karma cap?

I understand why you want to swap the caps! On the other hand, if you keep it you'll be confronted with the fact that you didn't gave the cap away...and if that thought has a negative connotation, seeing the cap results in negative karma :o

But in all seriousness, I love the idea behind the karmavap. I don't have the funds to buy lots of vapcaps and give them away, so this is a good opportunity to make other people happy with a new vape.

On the 1st I received a notice that my shipping label was created and order status changed to shipped. However it has now been four days and when I track the package it says pre- transit like USPS is still waiting for the package. Just wondering if anyone else is having the same experience?

Don't worry, you aren't alone, I'm in the same position for now still. Showing up as "Shipping Label Created, USPS Awaiting Item".

When did you preorder? Mine was in that status for a few days but it did start to move. I ordered on the 17th and my package seemed to start moving around the 2nd.

I may have ordered a little earlier than that, I added a magnet and mouthpiece to my order a few days after the original preorder. Not sure how that's reflected on the invoice :)

I made my order on the 22nd, so not as early as you but not a last minute one, either. I figure it could start moving any time.

Sounds about right, I'm trying really hard to not care and be surprised by the mail when it comes.... but I'm way too excited :)
I've refreshed the tracking page at least a dozen times today, no joke. Can't help myself, I'm still on a 2017 M, and those air channels look so nice in the '19. But it's not too bad waiting, I got my first induction heater finally a couple weeks ago, and it's helping the time pass. :ko:

Yep I'm in the same boat- label printed Monday, no progress since.

New Dynavap Live today.

My key takeaways:
Karmavaps given to most if not all 2019M pre-orders. Some are still available through retail partners.

Woody and Damascus models are coming back and will be different from their previous iterations. New Omni colour(s?), and possibly, maybe a Vong update. There's lots more, but these were the things that caught my attention in particular.

Edit: It looks like timestamps don't work. Skip ahead to 6:55 for the start.

Monk Debate

The monks do be debatin’
The DDave vapor cooler is a champ when you’re sipping. Between that, his SJK IH mod and the glass Charlie cooling stem, I don’t see how I could significantly improve my Dynavap experience.

I’m getting so lusciously high with this setup. I’m still curious what Dynavap could add to their own IH that might tempt me, and I would prefer the M be XL sized with a spinning mouthpiece, and maaaybe I’ll grab an Omni when they update it next, but really the M is all you need to get the full shebang.

I am perfectly fine and satisfied with my 3 vapcaps that I have already. #1,Old school ti woody-" double crown " stem, and #2 a custom made( back in the day) carbless Nonavong stem, both in Blackwood with their 5 fin ti tips.- See my profile pic-Love these 2 pipes but my 7 fin LE ti tip on a @stardustsailor extended length green treebark carbless stem (#3, ) - repeating myself sorry-
with the DV omni mouthpiece on it thru a pipes skeletor is my edc/ home base set up. I am now used to the free flowing air non restriction on the LE7. I also have the first M. Loved it but I can't lie I bought a ti tip and liked it better. Now I'm advanced to the whole carbless tubes and stuff. This M19 has got the VAS genie back out of the bottle. Now I've got to have the M 19 it seems. To compare it to the others... :science: Dern you George. just kidding.... keep em coming!! :smug:Cheers!! D.

Hey, just got out of the shower, and what do I see but a notification that my package is active in USPS's system now and estimated to arrive on monday. I didn't just get a 2019 M but also a Dynacoil, so it's gonna be a really fun evening for me soon. I hope you other folks waiting for shipping to get moving have similar news.

@Summer you were correct. This microbandit bubbler can be hard to clean! However it's all my fault. Once I started using it, I got into the habit of rinsing every few sessions. In a moment of lazyness I perceived that it didnt get very dirty.... Then I started testing with organic cotton and resin... The next day I had globs of reclaim that I still can't get out!

However, I LOVE THIS THING. I've always needed the help of water but didn't know it. I can now see that had I always known glass and water my choices in vaporizers would be either drastically different, or I'd still be enamored with arizer solo, air, crafty, mighty etc.

^ I wish I could remember what I(?) was correct about.
lol
I might have the wrong person. I was talking about the micro bandit mini bubbler from sneaky Pete. Someone had said they didn't like it and it was hard to clean... My memory said it was you. My apologies, I'll go back and see to whom I should direct that thought

@DirtyD, since you don't have the 18M, then you most certainly need the 19M. I have the OG M & the 18, & for me, the 18 is a noticeable improvement so with these further, much needed changes/improvements the 19M doubles in improvement from the 17(?)M. So yeah, if you can afford it, you need it. Hopefully, it'll be 20%-off again fot 420.

BTW, your sds stem setup sounds divine. I can hear in your post that it brings you great joy & happiness. :)

@Chandler, you could try the techniques @beyond6strings used to post about, which I believe George has also mentioned: gentle simmer in a pan of milk or coconut milk, then use that milk in coffee. The fat in the milk breaks down and absorbs the reclaim, and also yields a potent “edible” (drinkable). Then soap and water rinse.

They were taking about DDave stems and other straight glass, but I assume if the milk can flow into the bandit it would work there too...

@Chandler, "I" said it was a pain to empty & when it dries out enough, you gotta blow through it like candles on a birthday cake to disperse the final droplets so it will finally dry out. If you use it regularly & keep it out in some perpetual degree of wetness, great, but I rarely use it so waiting for it to dry to put away is s pain to me. I don't like it that much to bother.

Since my computer broke, & using a cell, I gotta figure how to post a screenshot, so I will shortly. It's a pic of a vong inserted, hand-free, in the larger,14mm version, mp bubbler which you see sold everywhere. This setup makes sense to me. You don't have to use 2 hands to couple the 2 parts together when in use, which, besides the addition of water, makes using it enjoyable.
