yeah its kinda sad as I can't find anything close to the herbie. I usually use the whip with glass but also use the steamroller sometimes and the balloons. My unit has been rock solid but I need to be ready in case it dies ha.

yeah the instant heat on the herbie was a real treat and almost an expectation now...

might have to get the flowerpot although I was looking for something with less parts/maintenance and less hot parts to pay attention to lol

thanks guys!

Buy another one on ebay:tup:

Yeah I want to but need bowls and haven't heard anything about availability... Also the unit is like $200 and the bowls are possibly still $70 each...?

Actually all the accessories are nearly full price or more while the refurbished unit is heavily discounted but comes with nothing. Guess cuz there's no competition and a captive audience but does feel like a bit high given there are no warranties on the accessories and no guarantees anything will work tomorrow heh...

Mine works off ebay for months now. Just buy from the repair guy mentioned above.

No other plug in vape can I leave on my table out in the open, no one wonder what it is, and be hitting it in 20 seconds whenever....

just waiting patiently, no worries
That is mature thinking....and all that can be done.
The company (corporation) stole the enterprise from the inventor and then voted him off the board....
an example in real time, of greed, and lack of conscience.
@herbalizerrepair has worked (VERY HARD) at serving the needs of Herbalizer owners ... much more care than the corporation ever took, after they betrayed the inventor/main shareholder.
@herbalizerrepair is the only game in town, and if he promises new bowls will arrive at some point, I am inclined to believe in him, and trust his intentions.
That is after consideration that the corporate structure of Herbalizer betrayed, and in essence stole the company right out from under the inventor, @Engineer during a hostile, and financially motivated "takeover of the company. (which they could not handle without @Engineer , and therefore they let the company fold).
Thanks to this group of investors.... @Engineer has moved on, and the only remaining support comes from one man alone.... @herbalizerrepair .
If magnetic bowls are wanted, my bet is on him to be the ONLY one that will get them for us.

How long have people's bowls lasted?
Mine has lasted 7 years, with no sign of wearing out.
I still want a spare!
Does anything where out?
The rubber cool grip around the bowl... especially the top half can take some abuse if the bowl is removed roughly or with a twist motion. The bowl is meant to be gently"rocked off" the magnetized heat port.

I read one case of a unit needing reclalibering in this forum. I assume the bulb that supplies heat ages and performance changes (like grow bulbs).

Who all has needed to recalibrate their units?

They last. My first bowl had an issue with the bottom metal ring and they replaced it for me. But getting a second unit without an extra bowl is pretty inconvenient. I'd like a few bowls actually.
They cleanup really well, a few hours in a 91% ISO bath, minus the rubber/silicone rings and it looks brand new! Back in October 2018 bought two extra from POTV @ $69.99 ea. so should have bowls for years. Sometimes the metal ring falls off the bottom section of the bowl, it can be replaced using high temp. grade epoxy.

One of the things I appreciate most about the Herby is the speed to temp. The Herby's ability to get to a high temp immediately is a huge plus. Especially when used for medicinal purposes.

In comparison, the EVO feels like it takes a forever to reach temp. Don't get me wrong though....IMO the EVO brings the taste better than the Herby.

Being using the EVO for many years, plus, I have a backup unit incase it breaks :D

But I am looking for something less breakable and easier to use? with EVO, I feel like I have to keep it on for a while to enjoy it, while I understand the herbie doesn't need that...which is great, and perhaps its "stealthier" if you can even say that.

That's why I think about this, I want performance in the same league as the EVO, and I love whip for its simplicity.
Perhpas the mighty might be good enough? I dunno.

I would pass.

Care to elaborate?

Just picked up a Herbalizer today. So far so good, I really like it.

I sold off a Volcano somewhat reluctantly recently and knew I needed a replacement in the near future. I was able to find a deal on this unit and I’m really enjoying its performance. Very quick to heat up.

Any tips? You guys or gals prefer bags or whip? Thanks in advance.

Recently I have noticed my Herbalizer turning itself on by itself. I usually unplug it when not in use, but if I have it out and ready for several hours at a time, it's disconcerting to see it suddenly come on on it's own. Is this a common problem? Has anyone else experienced it?

You'll pretty much stop using the Evo, not wanting to wait for it to heat up, except on occasion.

Well, warm up time is not usually my problem, but that being said, I do feel that I need to prepare the EVO before using, so I might turn it on an hour before use or so, go do my things, reset shutdown timer, resume doing things and only then vape.

What you are saying, is that I can keep the herbi off and just turn it on a few minutes before use?

That would be great.

But, I do love my EVO, it will be tough to give it up (and my backup machine as well).

Now, can you please tell me what can go wrong with this vape? since there's no offical support, I want to know what parts might break and how can I replace them...
Hopefully nothing breaks, like the EVO(Excluding me breaking glass which is a different case)

Also, if I want to connect the EVO's HT, how can I do that easily?

Thanks once again!

By the time you fill the bowl, its ready to go. It takes about 10 to 20 seconds for for full heat up. No benefit to waiting longer. I have zero problems with mine and use daily, hard use. Mostly I use the whip. Love the fan.

I was looking at other vaporizers, plug in style. I end up just buying another refurbished Herbalizer off Ebay. Two left for $250 from the repair guy. He seems to know his stuff and I've heard nothing but good things about his work. Need a cord and bowl though, which I have xtras already.

I took a second look at the flower pot. But herbalizer has a fan, you can touch the bowl directly, you can use a whip easy or a water pipe, controls are on the unit and display more accurately vapor temperature, the unit heats up instantly essentially, the unit can be left in the open (no one knows what it is unless they've used one) and closed up quickly without the need for a case, and aromatherapy feature is actually pretty cool.

It's just a very nice vaporizer. Flavor and clouds and consistency are top notch.
