Almost there...
I read and vaporizer all day?
I remember names so I can repeate them?

This SSV has me super stoned!
MEDICATED was my intention?

@lazylathe did U get a SSV?

LOL bro! We have been talking about my SSV for a week now. Too funny!
I do own one and have had it for 2 weeks now.
It's a great vape but cannot match the extraction power of my SV4 with tiny loads.

It will be used on weekends and when I start growing again as it can be a hungry beast to feed.

Dude i have a surfer with the LSV Heater cover and use the groung glass whip, it hits like a damn train i can finish a bowl in 2-3 hits on a bong, for some reason i dont get the same quality of hits with the SSV Ground glass heater cover the on made for the ssv, for some reason the LSV HC works way better, but i prefer really air tight connection, but the SSV GG HC just dosent work as good for me as the LSV HC on the SSV,, its the best combo i have found

Sounds like a great combination. My SSV has GG, and my Super Surfer has spherical ground glass, and the Super seems to hit harder. Haven't tried the other connections . Love the sound of what you've done.

I have a Da Buddha with an LSV heater cover and found its a better hitter then the stock cover too. Sure wish 7th floor had embarrassed the idea I am sure they could have made the idea really rock. Have you looked at the DDave adjustable stem? It can adjusted for really small amounts to full house house loads equally well. Have a good day

you HAVE GOT to get DDAVE micro dose kit for max extraction AND to tame the vape's appetite...

There's a pretty simple explanation for this. The LSV heater cover (even though it appears to be the same size as the Spherical Ground Glass Bowl for the SSV), if you look closely, it is actually larger and has a wider diameter.

The reason for this is that the "water" attachment, is a very wide parabola... and you remove the top attachment from the LSV, exposing even more of the "ball" from this "ball and socket" set-up.
All done, so the parabola(bowl) and the heater cover can have a full range of motion.

Hi folks,

Anyone running the DDave concentrate chamber on their SSV?

I'm having a few issues with using mine and just wanted to check how you folks find using it.

I can't even get a few ground flakes of herb in the chamber before the insert bottoms out on it, squashes the herb and stops any kind of draw going on.

Thanks

note: this thread goes way off topic till about post #27.

Let's talk about the SSV!

Clean convection, streamlined design, efficient, durable, customizable.

Solid anodized aluminum, custom borosilicate glass parts and accessories, fully-encased alumina ceramic heater, thick swappable acrylic base.

Review in the works.

This thing is well made and hits hard! I'm using it right now. :D

With this ice chamber / vapor bong which cools, filters and moisturizes the vapor

This one was made by the same people who make the SSV.

Newbie here but not to the Silver Surfer. I have been using mine for several years now and I love the thing. I use mine like you with a water pipe attached to it. Nice looking water pipe man.

Welcome, @muddyballz . I'm glad you decided to joking us.
Honestly, I can't think of a place that I would rather be. I love this vaporizer and love talking about how it has changed my life/respiratory health.

I now own 2 SSV units I keep one set up for concentrates with the EOK kit on it and the other is set up for flower.

I look forward to talking more with like-minded folks such as yourself.

@muddyballz , my apologies. I meant to say 'join' not 'joking'. Autocorrect did me in.
I have an SSV and a Super Surfer. Love them both. I'm wanting an LSV now.
How do you like the EOK kit?

I have a real question for you and all other 7th floor enthusiasts.

How do you like dealing with the folks at ELEV8 versus the 7th Floor folks?

I really loved getting the monthly email from 7th Floor that always had some killer specials in it.

Just picked up a used SSV on ent exchange for $110 with the necessary glass pieces. Is the DDAave kit a must? Im looking to use the SSV for large bowls at a time. I can use my e nano to microdose...

Ddave stuff is not necessary at all. I have been using my SSV for several years and never once felt like I needed anything other than maybe a WPA and a water pipe. I love the groung glass wand and heater cover with the WPA and a decent water pipe.
