I liked this theme for it's simplicity and ease of reading, but I missed the color and some other features of Frank's Theme so I went back to it. So the current theme I am using is VT75C-D Blue REPLAY rev287. I haven't yet played with replay tho it obviously is capable of it...

BTW, are all the references to a 1.2 firmware in error, or is there a version 1.2 of the firmware hiding somewhere? All I've found is version 1.1 SP33.2

Question for you all! What kinda battery life you getting from a single 18650 (or 2) with your Imp/Stempod/Splinter/Glow? 5-6 chambers worth? Usage habits and more! Keen to find out if a single battery mod or duo would be better for me. It's between a Sinuous P80 and Evic VTC Dual for me. Portability is nice to have

Damn so I might need to jump on the nano now after all, though its only a little cheaper than the bronze RX was for me... Maybe it will continue to drop? lol

@Mr. Gweilo 420 did you ever get a chance to snap a pic of yours with splinters attached? I suppose it may be a better fit for the iHeat you have on the way, which may be what I use it for, but I do like my Splinter V2 more so if the overhang is okay on the nano it may be a more portable option for me... Though it is nice with the three battery RXdna how little it needs charging of course, it is still pretty large and heavy for me.

I haven't tried and doubt I would. The VT75D is already a good deal lighter than the Paranormal so there's little point in leaving one slot empty. Sorry not to be more help.

Heard there could be some issues with the nano's mod resistance (which I did not know was a thing) so now afraid to rush in, along with figuring out how to get the right FC profile stuff set up since there isn't one for that mod already...

Well fuck me. The bronze wismec is more of a bucking bronco than my dna-c mods. I'm hoping the Nano offers similar performance in a a slim single cell design. Maybe Herbie will still rescue us with a DNA75 ecigprofile. His generous contributions are a big part of my Splinter enjoyment.

I haven't tried it yet either. I have been using only battery pairs, but I appreciate the fact that if I don't have a pair charged I can grab a single and just go. In worse case I could pull one of my flashlight batteries. :p

Oh yeah? I do appreciate the simplicity. Herbie did the offer some instructional tips in the firmware thread for me, they seemed a little over my head. After a better research on the resistance issue at the mod it does seem like it would be a risk to pick one up, not knowing if it would work right thanks too poor hcigar craftsmanship it seems? $63 is great for a mod like that, I too want a more compact version of RX250, but not if it might not work as well as we hope...

Yup, found at least three different fixes in my searches, one seemed fairly simple filing down a connector, but yeah have to open up the mod and know what you are doing... It really is a shame, the form factor seems great for sleek DNA75, fuckin hcigar lol Wismec must step up!

Edit: looks like eBay has $5 off for March, but that would still be $95 for the VT75C there... I see that I could get a P80 for $35 which may be a pretty good deal? Those available cheaper anywhere? Unfortunately not DNA though a nice form factor at least? Meh surmyevic

EditAgain: this place vaporl.com has the blue P80 mod alone for $25, but it ships from China and I have no idea the cost... I think I would prefer the blue color, though black on black with my V2 could be pretty stealth and myvaporstore.com has black mod alone for $28 with code now, but only free shipping when spending $50 so another $5.50 for shipping on its own makes it only like a dollar cheaper than the one on eBay? More secure? lol

LastEdit: so vaporl shipping is $6 for me BUT there is a 20% off coupon code taking $5 away so it'd come to $26.15 for me to get a blue P80 on a slow boat from China... Pretty good, no? Sure I wish shipping was free so it could only be 20, but not too bad... May have to do it!

Sorry was hoping that woulda got you up and running. Is there anyway you can send a copy of you settings? Other suggestion are try running case thermal analyzer... that shouldn't make this much difference but couldn't hurt..
When using the 19/19 stem if you increase temperature can you get a quality hit? I suggest also doing a couple hits well hooked up to device monitor. It tell you info on whats happening with wattage used etc. There some other user of this mod and I'm sure we'll figure this out.

I seem to have got it working consistantly now. Takes a 5-10 second preheat followed by 3 or so long deep puffs from a cold start before i actually start seeing vapor but am getting great flavor and clouds visible vapor after that and paying attention to rotating the stem after each hit seemed to have gotten rid of the hot spot

I changed the mod resistance to 0.009.
Im using the Splinter 19/19 profile.
Ohms set at 0.232 at 72.8F and Unlocked
Temp set to 375F

i have a splinter. Ive been using it heavily trying to figure it out and work out the kinks. With 1 battery I could get a full days use out of it. Using it more as a session vape than on demand Id say probably about 5-6 bowls/sessions with it. With two batteries it performs about the same but now when i charge it at night im at 50% instead of being completely dead

Wow that comes to just $55 with coupons... I know I shouldn't since I just got the P80, but this is what I was thinking of trying for single battery DNA, allowing me to try DNAc even. However are we sure this doesn't have any defect issues like the VT75nano? Since that is what helped me from buying that lol

Ouch! Nasty. If folks are warning about a mod I think the prudent thing to do is avoid it. I don't know about the design of the one battery version, but my one objection to the 2 battery one (VT75D) was the lack of venting holes. If that is also true on the VT75C than that makes the danger that much worse.
I have to suggest to skip this one... :(

It seems like it has proper venting holes, the contact I think was in question, and supposedly with just an 18650 it could be okay, but it seems like maybe hcigar recalled these and stopped making them so... I don't know yeah probably not worth the risk, which is a damn shame again.

Maybe in the future I wait a day before jumping on a dna-c mod deal.
