Daily smokers, why are you still buying China glass?

To answer this again:
I'm a daily smoker, so I have even more opportunities to break glass.
It's even more essential that I have cheap Chinese options.

Daily drivers why don't you buy a Mercedes (or insert whatever luxury car here). I dunno... maybe because I like having money in my bank account(investments) and not in depreciating/hard to liquidate assets?

For me it’s a matter of perspective!

personally for me i don't give a flying monkey where the glass is produced.

I do have a issue with direct clones of peoples work. Not that I'm one to bash anyone else's choice, each to there own but personally they are not for me.

This is why I only use KLEENEX, and not the other brands.
This gets a bit more difficult when a piece sells for over $3000. Then it's buy a copy, or go without. I, of course, always enjoy it when people with money ( and if a person can spend $3,000 on one piece of glass, my broke ass brain thinks they have "money "), worry about my moral character. Ever notice how the richer people get, the more they like to dictate how the poor should live, and what they should value ? It seems to start with judgement about Cheez Whiz, and never seems to stop. Yes, it's nicer to buy a hardback when it first comes out, and I'm sure the author prefer I not borrow from the library instead, and that's sad for us both.
One thing I like about FC, is if I could figure out how to post a picture of my cheap-o glass, I have no doubt my friends would admire it and be happy for me. Some might feel smug that they have better, and good for them. Smug can be as cozy as righteous indignation. I want my friends to have all the good feelings they can, and if me buying what I can afford gives someone the feeling they are better than I am, well, they are probably right, and I'm just going to be here enjoying my broke ass breakables, and my BOGO vapes.
