Tried mine last night and again today. I think I’m a big fan. More testing is needed.

How long for you to get yours? I picked slow boat shipping, I'm not trying to sign for anything.

I kinda am worried that the fragile nature of glass will come into play if you swap out tips often, but we'll see. It will be nice for flavor and easy cleaning.

For me it was only like a week. Maybe 1.5 max? Sorry, not super sure. It was faster than I expected.

Not super worried, just curious. Sometimes ordering from overseas it's faster to get it unregistered/untracked in my experience.

I didn't want to impact his reputation too because he seems to be a "special"guy and not beeing very organised myself I am usually very tolerant. But there is a real problem of trust and communication not only the guy struggling to be square.

I feel bad about my posting already :rofl:He did come across as a nice guy to me, and he did mention he had been unwell (still inventing&posting while i waited and waited though) and I do now have a working IH (after slight mod by me) that seems to be reliable, providing I monitor the battery charge.
It was just slow and painful and took about three months in all to happen (despite the immediate availability being advertised). Not what I was after/expecting when I irrationally pulled the trigger on £130 of something I'd never planned to buy, but excitedly pulled the trigger in an "oh fuck it" kinda move :)

In brighter news, there are some good creators, who are newer, but still reliable. Will plug @mrb for aftermarket stems. He was nice to deal with, prompt, fairly priced, and delivered a beautiful product. It seems he is just starting off creating stems, but I am pleased with the stem I got. It's titanium so no need for worry, like with wood, so long as everything fits ok, which it does.

I added the tip, and mouthpiece myself.

I think it's important that all experiences get shared here, so people can make informed decisions about where exactly their cash goes. Thanks for sharing and sorry you had to deal with that @Squiby - on the flip side of the coin, you could always give it your cats! I seem to remember you saying they like your stems anyway

Thanks for the shout out dude :)

I've been at this a while, but only from time to time. I enjoy making things (I do it for a living) and I keep coming back to these as they're fun to make, and I'm not gonna lie, it keeps my dyna-vas in check, making things rather than buying them, :)
The joyous side I wasn't initially planning on, is that many of you nice folks have opted to buy them from me, and this makes it even more fun  Not to gloss over the fact that this 'hobby' is now adding a little extra income from time to time, WHAT I REALLY LOVE. . is the pictures you guys send me of my bodies/stems "dressed up" and in use by someone else, somewhere I'll never go, and hopefully being enjoyed as much as I enjoy the brilliance and beauty of my reliable little VC. This thing is so great :)

A profound, impactful, torch draining evening with the Dynavap has opened my eyes to the fact that the 2018 M is just fine, as is the big mouthpiece. Going to cancel my pre-order and fight back the VAS today.

I will say this is my all time favorite vaporizer. It’s tactile in a way battery powered vape could never be.

2019 M looks cool. I like the updates. Someone asked if the 420 sale would be 'better' than dynavaps current sale.
Personally I don't see anyone offering more than 20% off, what's better perhaps is on 420 you won't HAVE to order a 2019 M to get the discount. That's why I'll pass. I've purchased 6 stems since my journey started. While I like the new one, 2020 we can almost guarantee an updated shadow M right? I can wait (yes I'm trying to convince myself).

420. 420... Must wait till 420.

On a side note, I have weak lungs very few vapes allow me to accept high temp vapor without irritation. The glass Charlie stems work very well in my opinion. I've been using one for about 2 weeks now? Definitely smooths out the vapor, and makes cleaning very simple! It doesn't seem fragile to me, but it's glass so naturally it is. Mine is slightly different from the ones from vape wellness. Mine has 'shadowed' glass at the moth piece and also tapers and narrows at the mp. EDIT* I see Charlie said mine has an included 10mm joint. That's the difference.
Experimented with the glass stem in my jhook last night :ko:

Hi, @Chandler!

Are your “Glass Charlie stems” sourced in the US/ Canada?

If so, would you care to share?
@stark1 I got you! I don't like Taking pictures in my home. Poorly placed windows the artificial lights are terrible for photos...
Sourced directly from Glass Charlie. He's in the UK I believe? Our dollar being what it is :( hurts when converting to pounds, but it's all worth it to me. I appreciate the art, uniqueness, and the improved functionality!

My current daily drivers. Everybody knows @Pipes famous PSM. Recently refreshed after a small debacle. Respect to @glass_charlie for his XXL glass stem. Black leaf 14mm jhook, and finally shout out and nuff props to @phattpiggie for that pretty chestnut wood square with blackwood mouthpiece and aluminum accent.

Apologies, the lighting sucks. One day I'll capture all my goodies in clean light.

Cheers

Suggestions? I preordered the M. But I only put in the numbers on my address not my street name. I can’t seem to edit the order, but I’ve updated my profiles “shipping address”

I would just email info@dynavap.com with your order number, and let them know. I'm pretty sure it'll get fixed, since they aren't rapid-fire shipping out the M's (yet at least) but an email never hurts.

With me he's pushing it a bit far mainly because he's unreachable, decides to appear when he wants and doesn't answer to questions. For example now he doesn't answer to me anymore but with all the pressure I put and asking for a refund I got a mail from Etsy that he sent it, without a tracking number. I asked him from the beginning to give me a tracking number otherwise packages get lost were I live without following. When you lose trust it gets complicated. I don't even want to imagine getting a device that doesn't work. You cant handle it ? Set little goals, don't try to be the best technically being the worst humanly and commercially.
