Got high as shit the other night & got my first Nuke on MW2 :D

There's definitely something about being super high that makes you better at CoD/other online gaming. My highest kill streak was got on 4/20, when I was about as baked as I have ever been, coming after 2 months of tolerance break. Even just a few nice puffs on the MFLB and I can see my scores going up.

The opposite is true for booze though huh - come home tipsy late night and play online = bad idea. Always get absolutely rinsed and just end up getting very angry!

Anyway got a 360 arriving on Monday as an early Xmas present - with Battlefield instead of CoD though.

Switching because I keep hearing how much better it is and how MW3 is basically just a new map pack. Better late to the party than never!

On a side note, if I could ever recommend a game to people it would be Mashed. Ridiculously addictive fun for 4 people (together, not online) with really short rounds and very simple/entertaining gameplay.

I know the feeling, when I game high theres this magical point where everything goes right and every shot is a head shot. The only problem is this eventually passes and I get frustrated with my apparent reduction in skill.

Calvin,
I bought New Vegas for 5 bucks during the Steam Autumn sale, and even though it's an awful mockery of the original 2 games, with horrible writing, voice acting and overall polish, I'm still compelled to play it through. My morbid curiosity compels me.

Weedmon, how is the D3 Beta? I'm really looking forward to D3

I got in the D3 beta as well 2-3 months ago. Haven't tried the latest patches but it was very polished and fun from what I played. Played Demon Hunter. It's interesting how the skills work, you can get up to a certain number of "active skills" and you can equip them to be used, and the rest of your skills cannot be used unless equipped.

So you get like i'm going to assume 30-40 skills by the time you are max level, but you choose between sets of 6 - 8 of them to make up your "character"

then there are items/stats/ect.

I haven't played much past level 6-7 because it is the first chapter of the game and I don't want it to be ruined to be honest. I did a bunch of messing around, reported some bugs and didn't wanna go much further and ruin the experience.

i am just using a friends account that he let me try out.

I'd say this so far, initially I was a little disappointed because I was expecting it to be further along graphically speaking. but then after playing for a while i saw some aspects of the game look very nice, and then others just feel a little dated.

It definitely feels like the next instalment of the diablo series though.

you will recognize some people in the game, and sound effects too. I liked this and felt it added a nostalgia effect. :)

skyrim has spoiled me a little though and jaded my initial view of D3 beta. :(

My games of choice:
Skyrim- For obvious reasons
(Or pretty much any of the Elder Scrolls series games for that matter)

Saints Row the Third- Can do a ridiculous amount of stupid shit, almost like being in your own cartoon where u make evrything happen urself

Smash bros- I find the sound effects hilarious while vaked, mayb it's just me

Right now I'm playing skyrim.
65 hours in and I feel like I've hardly done anything lol.

And I have MW3, BF3, uncharted 3, and assassins creed 3 lined up after that...

There are too many games to play.
And not enough time to play them.

I feel that, since you start to come out of the teenage, time reduces very very much :( I would like to do crazy day-long sessions like when I used to be a student or had no gf heheheh but whatever, the little time I can get my hands on a joystick, is always a blessing. This situation is not all negative though, it allows to enjoy today's shorter games, without gettin angry because you finished that game in a couple of afternoons :) now it takes 3 weeks minimum heheheh.

Just had my first day of online BF3 - having never played any of the series before, I'm not very good... yet!

We should get together a fuckcombustion squad or something.

SWTOR early access
me too :) which server? anyone here playing on EU servers?

I did not get early access however I cannot wait to get the game!

Its pretty good and well worth a look. I got beta access and playing early at the mo but the server queues on the main pvp servers is allready stupid (number 325 wait 45 mins etc) everybody is trying to get on the same servers.
Also be warned the first 10 levels are really boring and just form a tutorial really
