Hey all, thought I'd drop by to say that my ghost has been great since getting it back from customer service. Unfortunately, I think I'm going to have to let mine go. The sound emitted as it is starting the heater is beginning to become an issue in my household. My significant other has started to develop tinnitus and I cannot use this around her. People familiar with this health issue can maybe relate.

I want to thank everyone who helped me find my way to acquiring one.

@buckhakeesah I am so sorry to hear about your significant other. I hope she is able to find the cause of it. If there is anything I can do, please let me know. Good luck.

Nerissa :)

Thanks Nerissa! Unless the heater sound can be made silent, I think I will have find it a new home. Some people say there's is silent, but I think this is hard to avoid with the MV1. I'm not mad, I knew what I was getting into with it and I loved the results. I couldn't be happier with the service and support for the Ghost family. Thanks for the outreach.

So I've been using piece of hose to stabilize stem .....which works great ....so I was cutting more hose as.I have multiple heatsinks.....and I didn't realize one was cut a little longer than the others .....guess what I found.....that "sweet spot" I've heard.about.....OMG! I recommend everyone find.their.own sweet spot..... everyone's is different.due to their own draw.speed...it's unreal! Every single hit now knocks me back....I'm thinking about getting a ring for.this.relationship lol!!!!!!!
Love it! Put some wax in the middle of the bowl. It seemed to last forever, started at level 3 and worked my way up to 428 on my level 5. Super fluffy clouds and tasty all the way till the last pull. I love my mv1 :)

Awesome man! Glad to see you're loving it. Mine gets here tomorrow and I am just scouring the web looking for tips and tricks on how to use it so I don't end up complaining that it's not a good vape. I keep hearing about this "Sweet spot" that you gotta find and it looks like you found yours. So if you don't mind I'd like to ask you a few questions...

How fine is the grind you're using?
How far do you have mouthpiece extended?
How hard are you pulling?
How are you packing the wax in the crucible with herb?
What settings are you using on mv-1?

Thanks and vape on...

Thanks to the Ghost MV1 Upgrade Program ... and Members that participated, and the efforts of the folks at Ghost (& @ghostvapesofficial )
we have been able to place 5 more refurbished units into the hands of deserving low income patients from various walks of life.
Teaching the use of the Ghost has been fun, because once you've got it, it is easy as pie.
The more folks I get to show, the more medicated I get!

I used hose.from my Da Buddha whip.as.long as it slides.over stem and cut to.proper.height.....if you don't have o n hand go to hardware.store and take.stem so you can make.sure it fits hose you select

How fine is the grind you're using? Medium to coarse grind.

How far do you have mouthpiece extended? Fully extended most of the time. There is a sound I associate with my best, cloudiest, smoothest draws. The sound is kinda like when a jet plane first takes off. Most of the time that chugging sound occurs for me with the stem fully extended. That sound is easier to find when the unit and the crucible are clean.

How hard are you pulling? As hard as I need to so that I hear that chugging sound AND can still hang in there for the full heat cycle. Not really pulling very hard at all.

How are you packing the wax in the crucible with herb? I'm not using wax and herb together.

What settings are you using on mv-1? I'm strictly herbal....3 amber is my starting point and then I move up to red 1 and red 2 when each level stops producing. Using stock temps.

Question, I am getting my mv1 in tomorrow and I was wondering if I could charge it for 3 hours one place then 5 another. Shouldn’t be a problem right?

Also, about the great 8 hour charge... if I fully charge it and smoke a bowl, can I then plug it back in? Or should I drain it at least halfway?

Basically, what’s the best way to ensure I don’t mess up this battery but keep it fully charged?

Thanks and vape on!

I assume this has been discussed but I was wondering peoples thoughts of GHOST MV1 vs MIGHTY.
Maybe it'll be bias considering i'm asking on this thread and not the mighty thread heh?

I'm asking because I own a mighty but it's seen better days, it still works great but the plastic is quite chipped and the charger port is loose (making charging a bit difficult) and the battery isn't what it used to be, I've had it for about 4 years or something now. I still consider it to be a great vape and I've actually convinced about 5 close friends to buy one haha. So i'm quite 'team mighty' you could say.

I'm considering 'upgrading' to the GHOST MV1 but the question for me is it much of an upgrade? to me there seems to be some great positives but also some negatives compared to the mighty and i'd be interested for peoples input on this.

Currently from what I can see the ghosts main features are

- Seconds fast heat up and cool down
- Full convection
- Retractable glass mouth piece
- Easily removable batteries
- Higher temp capabilities than mighty
- ceramic Zerconia herb chamber
- Bluetooth with 'Find My Vape' option if it gets lost
- 1 hitter

For me these are ticking a lot of boxes.

Does it have pass through charging?
How fast does it take to charge from flat?
What do you find the flaws are? (I've heard some people mentioning the chamber latch breaking or something)
How do you compare it to the mighty?
Most importantly how do you find the battery life? (if you have a comparison to the mighty even better)
Is there anything I need to know?
Does it live up to what it suggests it offers?

To me this is ticking a lot of boxes but I already have a mighty (not in best condition but still kicking) and a vapexhale cloud. I'm wondering if maybe it's not so worth it in my position?

Thanks guys :3

The fact i can hit it anytime, at any temps and change out buds within 10-15 seconds with crucible holder, plus it looks sexy, well designed, easy to clean, its the best portable on the market imo, it is a regulated milaana but much much easier to change buds and use

At first, I didn't know what to think of the crucibles. Now, I fricking LOVE them. It just makes sense, especially if you don't want to get up to have to load/change out bowls. Fill the holder up and we are good to go for a movie. I am at the point I actually enjoy filling them up!
