My votes for postimage.org because it's super easy to use. Don't know if imgbb can upload multiple pics (tiny pics can't) at one time, but postimage can.

On @FocusV live stream today on IG he went over some changes to the atomizers they are doing all of them sound great can't wait to recieve one to test, good to hear the threads being widened as I mentioned as well as the turning direction indicators will be a nice change love the height of the bucket being increased as well.

One thing you mentioned that might be possible in the future I still think you should look into are the tapered buckets that widen towards the top.

Can't wait for more news and updates really would like one of those charliglass pieces.

My backup atomizers arrived. This time, the first dry run and use were normal. The third use produced the run-away red hot bucket until I forced a shutdown. I quickly took the atomizer off, and removed the lid and bucket. Let it all cool down and the next use was perfect. Strange.

This happened to be right after my first use. The first hit as REALLY good; then it messed up. Told @FocusV about it and he's shipping me a new one! Great service!

Note: It was overheating on any setting. Atomizer fused and some of the black stuff melted in to the connector. Have pics if anyone wants; already sent to FV for R&D.

Had my atomizer overheat a few times as well. I believe it has to do with how tightly it's threaded into the base. If you have just put the atomizer back into the base, I recommend dry-firing to check if it's in there properly, so you don't waste any material.

I’ll take any tips and tricks you have gathered! That goes for everyone!

So I’m charging the carta for the first time since I initially received it and had the red hot glowing atomizer which fused it together so I haven’t used anything but the ti cup but now I have to clean it without damaging it since it can’t be removed.
I have a feeling I’ll need to scrap the ti cup to remove some carbon/residue build up which will not burn off on high temp or allow me to use Qtip to clean but doesn’t clean it at all.
Any suggestions beside iso soak?
I’m charging my carta now see what it beholds if I’ll get a other red hot glow? It be nice if it did it would clean my ti cup lol

Mine did the red hot thing after I unscrewed it and rescrewed it back, which means I didn’t get to try the Quartz Bucket

Ok. So the second atomizer is running way hotter on low heat setting vs. my first. Really wish I had the app to tone it down

@FocusV, in a recent stream you said something about having the Carta be on-demand convection as well as conduction. At your leisure, can you elaborate further? And how long until this feature will be implemented?

Will changing the temps on the app permanently change the preset button temps on the device or will the app have to be used each & every time to use different temps?


Also, you were also gonna post a chart on this thread detailing the specific changes being made, e.g. atomizer threads, size, etc.

Ok I want to know if this will wreck a other wise working atomizer that’s supper dirty by dropping it in iso for a while? Or should I soak ti cup with a few drops?
I really wish I could loosen this thing so I could try the quartz cups.
You’d think a man could turn this atomizer cap loose, WTF it’s so fused I can’t budge it.
So I can’t really clean it so I can really use the other cups which limits my testing ability.
Kinda of a downer for sure a waiting for customs to release my replacement is such a long process as well.

You are. Or missing out by not using the quartz. They don’t work worth a crap on the pre-order atomizers. Based upon the build I don’t see any reason why you couldn’t do an iso soak, but you will probably want to make sure that it is compels dry before use...like, 12+hrs directly in front of a forced air space heater dry.

Whats up everyone! Lets just jump right into it haha

sorry I haven't been able to post as often as I would like lately but lets get you guys up to date on everything!

1st. Lets talk atomizer builds.



A few things to go over.

Change 1: We are adding a grip to the base of the atomizer to make it easier for you to grip when taking the top off.

Change 2: We are modifying the threading on the top to make it easier to open and less likely to thread lock.

(we have also added directional indicators engraved in the cap to make it easier to know what direction to thread)

Change 3: We are redesigning the base of the atomizer build to create a stable base for both the heater and the buckets. This will reduce friction and make it easier to assemble and disassemble.

Change 4: We will be changing the height of the bucket system to reduce the splash spill over.

Change 5: We are removing any lip or bevel to the base of the buckets to ensure a flush sitting.

Regarding the overheating on certain attys "The RED RING"
we have made several changes to address this issue.

in short the main issue was coming down to a resistor issue and having a clean connection.

2 Main things we will be fixing is upgrading the resistor on the PCB so from the core it will be able to perform better. The second upgrade will be adding software upgrades to automatically recheck 17 seconds into heating. if its exceeding the temp directed then it will stop.

You would at that point just unscrew the atomizer and if the threading is clean then you can simply thread back on and will be good to go.

If you notice the threading is not clean then we would recommend a iso wipe with a q-tip to get a quick clean going.

A few other quick updates for you guys!

I will have the updated atomizers for my testing on Tuesday. I will give an update of my findings based on using a new Carta with it for the first time.

I am hoping to give you guys a better update on the Bluetooth app situation soon but at the moment the only update I have is I believe i will have a new update with the changes i requested to make it beta ready by Thursday or Friday i believe.

(please dont hold me to that. this process is slow but its important to get everything programmed right)

We will be at champs trade show pretty much all next week! I will be doing some live streams from the booth (if internet abides)

Great release brother these improvements should make a world of difference I would think.
Fail safe for the red hot resistor issue nice an$ the new atomizer looks real nice and should work even better more surface area taller air path to a degree and nice change to the cup placement great idea like cup holder.
Can’t wait to try this new atomizer with quartz cups since I never used them yet in my messed up carta.
Will we get a new oil cart to test before the production model comes out?
And I’d love to get the herb chamber as soon as it comes available for me pleasure.
Cause I’ll have a replacement unit with the old style atomizer so I would expect a replacement new style atomizer before the production unit come out cause there’s no sense of having a redundant atomizer that will be useless lol

All of the changes look spot on. This should make an already great vaporizer that much better.

Love my Carta and can't wait for all the upgrades and the herb chamber.

I have a Helix piece on the way right now and I'm hoping to get an atomizer replacement this coming week, also.

@FocusV Will a Ti bucket be included with the replacement atomizer, as there is no way for me to get the one out of my locked tight atomizer? Happy to pay for one if need be.

Again...love the product and your involvement on F.C and I.G. You listen to the public and get right on those needed changes. So far you're one of those rare company's in this industry that is not only making really good products, but maybe more importantly are offering very good customer service...Bravo!

Yeah if it's one thing that's going to keep me coming back to Focus V is your customer service alone it has been steller.

I would still like an extra old atomizer just in case my only one burns out by the time production units come in.

This second atomizer runs stupid hot. So hot, that my current routine is start the low cycle, drop in a very small dab, draw, and as soon as I see thick vapor, shut off. This usually gets 2great rips. Then I heat again, shutting off usually before it even gets to green. A couple of less-terpy hits, and then a qtip cleaning.

I will be working to get you guys some of the new one attys as soon as I can!

I will have a few hundred of the old atomizers that I'll be able to let go of for very very cheap lol. I can definitely shoot you over an extra still.

So now we know the resistor issue is what is causing the issue. Shoot me a message and let's see what we can do to help out until the main release is ready!

Got another update on the Carta you might want to look into this is @FocusV as it's an issue with the material/finish of the outside of the Carta might not want to mass produce them with the material that's used.

My Carta is cracking or the finish is starting to come off crackle up, don't really know what is causing this at the moment whether it is heat related or cleaning but I mainly just whipe down the sides of the unit it could be that ISO tears down the outside finish which should be fixed since ISO is the main thing used to clean units like these so it's definitely going to come into contact with some.

Regarding this, when my atomizer overheated this happened:

I also have another concern and was wondering if there is something in place that helps/solves this.

I made the image a bit simple I have color coded things.

The red arrow/lines are pointing out my concern now when the atomizer gets dirty or stuff has collected out of the holes at the bottom it seems to be able to seep in between the Cartas housing and the atomizer connector now if there is no gasket or something in between there the heat will continuously run material in between the housing and connector and just build up and be unreachable to clean.

Blue is cleanable/reachable areas just through that in to help show/explain my concern.



If there is already something there stopping the build up from further going down into the device then don't mind this post but I still have those blemishes forming on the outside of the unit.

Will all the beta buyers get a upgraded oil atomizer?
I hope so. They look like the hey could be a ideal redu for the carta.
I have to wait for my replacement cause I cleaned the ti cup as well as I could but tastes like burnt crap.
Well my run was nice milks very easy too easy maybe compared to what I’m used to.
But that fact that you can watch your vapour move as you milk the bowl is a nice experience and really reveals the efficiency of the carta.

So I received the Helix... it doesn’t seal. So I’ll stick with the stock glass since it’s flawless and milky and airtight.

My Helix is so airy I am disappointed.
Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Sad to report the same issue here. Poor seal, airy pulls. It's too bad, because the piece itself is a stunner. Taller by itself than the Peak with glass attached.

I hope there not all fu..d that would just suck, you’d think helix would pre check seal before shipping.
What do we do with useless glass if we receive a useless piece that will not seal right?
Send it back replace?
Exchange for a different style bubbler?
this is really shitty news mine are on the way.
Fingers crossed but I hav3 a feeling it might be a bigger problem, but I hope it isn’t.
