I'm using the 28mm SiC dish with the 5mm SiC terp balls from ebay that were posted a ways back. They work great, and the site said 5mm for 28mm dish, but I notice that they make the concentrate "pool" towards the inner wall, and it can actually build up quite a bit.

Is this just normal with terp balls?

I get blowback using the newvape stereo matrix. It's definitely related to the water level, taking the water level below the threshold or doing the screen sandwich thing that saturn suggested both work.

What’s your budget for this multiuse battery? A battery that large will take time to charge, it’s physics. Understanding that the father you let it run down, the longer you will have to charge it. I would recommend a Lithium battery pack as it will take a charge quicker than a Nickle-Cadmium. How portable do you want this battery to have? Batteries are heavy! If only from the car to the picnic bench/tent or boat, then you could go lager.. one of these? https://www.amazon.com/Goal-Zero-Po...ocphy=9005583&hvtargid=pla-308511758090&psc=1. Goal Zero also makes solar panels to charge these. Respect! -YaMon

Sorry to be back about this, but any of you guys have some Portable High Capacity Battery Pack with 3 Prong AC Outlet (100w?) that works with the NewVape PID and the 20mm Enail Coil that is "NewVape Enail Battery Compatible"?

(I'm in Canada BTW. So either browse Amazon.com and under the Amazon Logo in the Upper Left Corner, Select "Ship to Canada" to get results I'll be able to Purchase...) Otherwise, I really appreciate your help but it won't be much use if I can't find it in Canada...

It would also need to fit inside a Backpack and not be too heavy since I will be walking a lot and already have to transport the NV Weatherproof Case with my NewVape equipment...
But I appreciate you showing me the Goal Zero brand but this model looks way too big and heavy for my needs lol (But I wouldn't mind a model that would be reasonable and allow me to add Solar Panels after I've saved my money for them...that's pretty cool and kinda Future-proof hehe)

I'm particularly interested in a model by RavPower 27000 mAh (100w Max.) 3 Prong AC Outlet. I'm just hesitating because in the specs it says AC Outlet 70w Output Max. Though it's supposedly an "Updated Model" so maybe they didn't change the Description? (To be honest, I could care less about the Wattage, all I want is that it works flawlessly with my NV FlowerPot...

And my budget is, as low as is possible for a Quality Battery Pack like that...But I'd rather not pay the price for an Omnicharge Omni 20...

Thanks a whole bunch,
SunnyHours.
(And don't worry, if I don't get any answers, I'll make a new Thread so we can at least get or build a list of our own!)

I picked up the same one Newvape sells on Amazon. They don't have them very often but every once in a while a few pop up for sale.

I put "ship to Canada" in the header but since it's currently out of stock I'm not sure if it ships up there.

I also had to purchase a new coil to work with the battery pack. I remember reading somewhere the "older" coils won't work with the power bank. My coil was from Jan 2018.
:peace:

hmm this doesn't sound like my problem...I am always drawing air if the bowl is on the bong, because otherwise the bowl will shoot a little bit of flower out when the water rushes back down (after hit). Hopefully that makes sense.
I've never had or heard of that happening ever, do you pack your bowl all the way to the top?
Happens to me all the time and I can hardly imagine it not happening as when the column of water bubbles collapses, it will then drive air out of the joint and into the bowl.

It’s why I always cap and recap after clearing the rig while still inhaling.

To me, trying to pull the cap off, then the heater off, then pull the bowl to clear requires more hands than I have! Haha I tend to load to get 3-4 draws (about .15-.2 g) and pulling all this stuff to avoid blow back just seems like a PIA to me. So, I leave the bowl on until it’s cashed and prevent blow back as I described.

By the by, I fill water to just 3/8- 1/2” above the perc. Still get blow back.

Same with Enano GonGs. That’s why I use a carb’d adapter though the ground flower eruptions were fascinating when completely and utterly stoned. LOL.

Cheers

I get the flower blowback when I don’t pull the bowl off the rig fast enough, using the stereo matrix from the kit. Seems to happen regardless of how much I’ve packed the bowl.

My solution was to put another single screen on top of the flower (so I have a double weave bottom screen - flower - top single screen sandwich), which stops the problem and doesn’t seem to change airflow or taste to me. It does make it harder to stir but I find I get even enough results without stirring.

Indeed, and as others have said, its down to the water level returning to normal. For the record, I dont get this issue at all with my FC Rattlecan.

Another solution is to wedge an appropriate size screen in the underside/bottom of the VROD/SH head, thus freeing up your bowls for stirring again.

Hi
I’m new to the thread
I’m looking to purchase a bundle from new vape. Is there any reason I should pick up the vrod over the normal bundle? 90% of use will be flower but I might dab off of it depending how good it is compared to my opaque highly educated quartz.
Thank you in advance! :)

Go VRod.

I was dabbing off my Showerhead for a while, then switched to the VRod.

For dabbing, for me, the difference was vast between the two.

Go VRod.

Maybe my question is..
Is the vrod same in performance as the shower head for flower/herb?
Dabbing is just a plus for me.
Many people including myself use the shower head for flower because they find that no matter how you draw or how you use the carb cap with the SH you never get an uneven roast. With the VROD especially at higher temps if you don’t draw slow you will get a dark ring and need to stir. I have a dedicated dab set up from 710coils which is an opaque bottom banger like a gavel with a 25mm coil. I think the shower head has a slight advantage over the VROD for flower alone and so do other members here. If your gonna dab from your FP at all, get the VROD. It’s close to the SH in flower performance, only place it comes short is high temp, one hit extractions. If your not gonna dab from your FP at all go ShowerHead. I hope some other members who have tried both can chime in but I find the SH to have a good edge over the VROD for the way I vape flowers. Hope this helps.

This was exactly what I was looking for. Thank you!
I had a feeling the shower head would vape flower more evenly compared to the vrod.
I’m trying to substitute combustion from my sovereignty without destroying the experience of clearing rips and socializing with homies. Especially homies that have no clue on vaporizing, and the required techniques it takes to get a good rip.

That being said. Is the flowerpot a good vaporizer for users with little to no experience?

What about twaxing? I'm not in a legal state and have not looked for concentrates.. how many of you that do have access would twax over flower or dab only?

Just set it to the temp you want, put the head on the bowl and inhale. It doesn’t get much easier with flower. :)

No one who’s tried mine has had any trouble with it - including people who had never used a vaporizer before. Just make sure they understand which parts are hot! :o

Setting the controller to 600 or so is safe for whatever technique you use, you just won’t get as much vapor if you inhale fast. If you set it up in the 700s though, make sure people don’t draw too slow or they might overcook or even combust the load in the higher 700s. Most people would probably default to medium-fast anyway, so still not much worry there.

By the way, I have the VRod and ShowerHead, and while the VRod may be slightly less even at high temps (I’ve managed to get a little ring a couple of times) I don’t think you can go wrong with either one. If you’re interested in dabbing on it sometimes and you prefer SiC to Ti though, the VRod’s the one to get.

I love concentrates and fwax all the time. Before I got a VROD it was almost presented as a novelty, but it works extremely well.

Love only needing one unit. I don't need to own more than one good vape.

After the longest time of removing the carb cap off the nail a minute before wanting a dab, I’ve discovered that if I put the dabbed in horizontally (ironically I used it like this when I first got it and was only using flower but thought vertical looked better and balanced better) instead of vertically
, it never really gets too hot to take it straight off the nail and pick up a dab.... you’d think that would have been pretty obvious considering which way heat goes but it wasn’t much of a bother to do anyways.
Ahhh well, side ways it is again What a machine.

Also for those asking how others do it, my Vrod has always got flower in it!! Probably 80% on their own, 20% with dabs (when I have them) honestly don’t even know if I’ve ever dabbed without flower in it other than a couple times I ran dry and managed to scrap up the dab container. Running low on dabs till next week but will give it a go then, never really even considered it if there is flower around.

This was exactly what I was looking for. Thank you!

I’ve got a Vrod but I can say while a coupl vapes might be a bit easier for noobs (HA, mighty, PAX) spring to mind, but if they are big old bong rippers, the Vrod is one of the most plug and play vapes around IMO... but the performance edge in a bong is leaps and bounds ahead of pretty much every other vape I have used.

That easy of use + stupidddly good performance + the fact it would be pretty hard for a noobie to break the vape, might smash your glass or break a control (even that would take some doing) but as far as the vape itself it’s virtually industuctable. All that put together I think makes it the best vape for introducting people to vaping.

Can’t comment on the SH specially, but some of the comments in the thread make me think I need one also.

Hey all,

Just pulled the trigger on a showerhead. I'm a flower only user and doing this on the cheap. I bought the following:

- Showerhead
- 14mm Male Post (for my DHGate Matrix Sidecar and 9" SOL)
- Shovelhead bowl
- Showerhead carb cap
- Titanium post for the head

I got the coil and e-nail from the bay because cheap. I've recently managed to finally quit combustion through a combination of the Volcano for long/slow sessions, and my DynaVap OmniVong for on demand. But I need something harder hitting and freer flowing for my on-demand. From the reading I've done, I think this should do it.

You made a very fine choice. I took a somewhat similar path myself, with stops at Volcano High, and VapCap City along the way.

You're very unlikely to be disappointed with your purchase :)

If the SiC dishes walls were curved, using the terp pearls would surely be way more efficient and that would help to get rid of any pooling?
