I like myevic on the rx gen3 dual a lot so far and I'm not missing Arctic Fox.

The reason I ask which firmware is because there's no two clicks to cruise in myevic. You can set two, three, or four clicks to do a variety of things but it's a single long press to engage auto fire when it's enabled.

Sure you're not mixing sur_myevic and myevic? The latter is AFAIK not developed anymore and was the code on which tubo_myevic is based. While sur_myevic is a recent Russian fork of myevic. I'd go with sur_myevic instead as it's actively developed.

This guy (only one ive firmwared) is a wismec rx200s. I have an rx300 as well, though its stock.

You want Tubo firmware with that, go to lamart.tubo

He means sur myevic, most of us here do when we say myevic ;)

Sorry if this is a repeat question but does anyone know if the vapexhale EZ load bowls work with the stock splinter stems?

Tough to say, depends what version you have, but a 19/19 stem should be able to accommodate the ELB and fit in any Splinter, but it may be too tall with the lid (since it means double flat steel rims)

Torn apart ..

Planetvapes (Canada) doesn't have version 2, they has v1 & Z. I'm sold on the fact that it has the Zion heating element (or technology) but I want it because I wanted a portable to use outside (and at work). Also the more I use the enano with the glass stem (I have the long stem) I find the vapor harsh (hot) even at 6 setting. A long stem will limit the portability of the device. The drytube looks dope but it is longer than the Z attached to a mod!

I find a lot of people love the splinter but they mostly use it at home. I have a great vaporizer at home in the enano (which cured my VAS for desktops .. at least till now :p ) but I want a portable .. Am I looking for love in the wrong place?

Theherbcafe.com in Toronto has the V2.
I bought the V1 couple weeks ago for $120 Cad and the next day the site had 2019 models available for $160 and xlr8 stems came in stock. I was a bit upset at first but glad I got a good deal since not much changes are on the v2. I reordered for the xlr8 Jr and I'm enjoying it even more now. I will get the Z eventually maybe wait for a ZV2. No rush on that.

I'm using my old Smoant Charon mod on SS tc mode between 380F to 430F, 3sec preheat with great results. Watt mode I found got warmer quicker and needed more button pulsing, even on lower watts.

I got a good deal on a lost vape Theron dna133 for $108 Cad. I'm waiting for that to arrive from the Philippines. There was also a paranormal available for $130 but I didn't like the blue and carbon finish.

Thank you.

Does anyone who has a V1 Splinter and V2 Splinter know if the glass (smoked) from the V2 is as thin as the V1?

I was totally unimpressed with the stems that come with the V1.

Anyone able to compare and contrast Splinter V1 vs Splinter V2?
BELIEVE theyre the same, but I need to take some pics this evening, Ill check. though Ive posted a pic, I'll try and repost in case you can tell:

Thanks for the pictures.

If it is not too much trouble, could you please take a shot of the clear glass standing up next to the smoked glass? Is it possible to see a difference in weight between the glass??

How do the units compare? V1 vs V2.

BTW, I find that the V1 runs hot compared to a Splinter US even with a DNA mod and the mod selecting the resistance? Any ideas?

I def can, I need to take pics of all my RBT glass anyhow, to get some help from otherside re: poor stem fit in my milaana1. I meant to last night, but as I may have said before, with wife and kids I need to find a minute to get photo shoot together. oh uh, thats uh, my work stuffs-- XD

edit: as far as v1 vs v2, I have much more drive time on the v1s, ill redouble my efforts to get v2'd

Thinking it could be due to stem your using with them. The first splinter used a 19/22 stem. It later was changed to 19/19. If using the same 19/19 stem with both I think the extra 3mm closer to the heater in newer ones would cause it to run warmer.

Thanks for the idea. However, I took the same stem between them, just to be sure.

Also tried with a PV gong for the Milaana which his much shorter than any stock stems I have (http://www.planetvape.ca/phdfs-rbt-mouthpieces.html).

@HerbieVonVapster do you know how to lower resistance on a DNA mod/profile??

Thanks for the pictures @eideal852.

It does appear that the "smoked" glass is a bit thicker.

How do screens fit in the V1 glass vs V2 glass?

Is it possible to weigh the V1 vs V2 stems perhaps a weight difference would help us compare the stems??

Does anyone else have a V1 and a V2 and can compare them?

Hey there, I just ordered a V2 splinter. I am lost on what kind of mod to get for it if anyone can help.

I currently have an IPV D3 with a Yihi chip I read that might have an issue with the splinter?

I really like the size of it and the 1 battery if anyone can recommend something with a similar size that would work great with the splinter v2 and is reasonably priced

I also have no clue about firmware and stuff im assuming u plug it into a computer and download software to it?

Thanks
