Been looking around for oil tools.

I'm on the waiting list for a glassmansdoll oiler but they're so busy that new orders won't be started until Dec or Jan.

In the meantime I have an 8" SSFG mini with showerhead that I use only for vaping with the EQV. If I can get a good dome and nail kit then I might find that I don't need the GD oiler. Just doing this for the fun of it anyway. I made some QWISO out of about 8g of abv and 3 weeks of reclaim and I don't want to keep smoking it.

I've been searching but can't find an angled dome and nail kit in stock and I'm thinking I may need to find an artist. On etsy I can't find one artist that has domes in their shop. Help me find one so I don't have to keep smoking that oil. Where esle should I look for better success?

sorry pappy i meant to respond to this last night

they did and we have been playing etsy contact tag

ive also been speaking with glassmandoll and glasstafarian

glasstafarian is telling me that unless the handle is of considerable length, that you would get alot of splash back with my design. im not sure what he means though to be honest. there are plenty of bubs that are a similar size to an ash catcher that have a short simple stem/mouthpiece.

maybe im missing something here... :uhoh:

Armin really knows his shit so you may be missing something. I'd turn things around and ask what he would alter to make your design work. ;)
If it gets too pricy consider his GonG Bub. He's whipping one up for me in black white and red.

I think glasstafarian might be right about the splash back you would encounter with a smaller shorter tube also consider the somewhat constant diameter of the tubing is going to help prevent this as well.

I am going to spend about 350$ on glass.
It is a sgw waffle tube. Is there anything from etsy that could match up?

There should not be any splash back issues with that bubbler, as long as you don't over fill it.

I'm sure you can. Word is the waffle hits chuggy. Glasstafarian has more interesting piece IMO.

thats what i thought

so why is attaching a short handle to an ash catcher gonna cause any splash back?

water will have a tendency to collect in the bottom of the j and thus be able to splash up into your mouth.

and I don't think you would have problems with that bub but that bub is kinda expensive look around Etsy and you will find a better price for something similar.

SGT has these http://www.etsy.com/listing/56636998/1-foot-contraption-all-glass-on-glass for only 110 and like 20 shipping, and I'm sure you could specify a different downstem if really interested. I have the handle as a sherlock by itself and it's honestly one of my favorite pieces, ever. The contraption even includes a flush 18mm to 14mm adaptor, worth 12-15 unto itself.

Really good experiences with SGT here. Like, exemplary.

i understand now about the j-hook handles... makes sense. maybe if i can find one that is like 8" instead of 10-12"

and for that bub, i wasnt really interested in it. just using the pic as reference.

im off j-hook hunting

rbrown13,
Gnosy is in dire need of money and is taking custom orders if you want to help him out. I'm getting an oiler at a very reasonable cost. He's eccentric but others have vouched for his work and the prices are fair.

^^^Interesting. 2 month waiting list for the glassmansdoll oiler and I'm too impatient to wait so I sent a custom oiler order like the GD mini to 3 different blowers and have yet to hear from any of them. I'll hit this guy up.

@ hereatlast, fidgit, shiz > All of you have SSFG travel beakers and some swear by it, especially with a showerhead diffy, etc. I got a travel beaker with a 6 slit downstem for my guests and to be honest I consider it a novelty compared to my SSFG 12" with showerhead diffy. My question is do you think it's the generic downstem? Would it be worth it to get a SH diffy for the travel beaker?

To be honest Pappy I've got nothing to compare it to.
First time I've used glass since switching to vape only last Christmas.
All I know is that since getting it a week ago I haven't used the whip or bag once and am now considering something bigger!
I'm saving so much money now (down to 2.5g a week and no cigs :)) and feeling so smug about not combusting that I can happily justify all the glass I want.

Ray messed up my order slightly (probably due to how busy he is from lunatic vapers mithering for custom orders :D) and is actually sending me out a whole new set up gratis so I'll have a spare ready for the inevitable breakage.
I can't speak highly enough of the guy.
For the sake of a few dollars you may as well pimp up your travel beaker.

be careful with something bigger.

i say this because the same principles apply to vaping with a bong to combusting with a bong.

basically it takes more to fill the larger tube. this in turn will eat through your stash like crazy.

i purchased my 12" LC beaker thinking id be able to use it everyday.... that would be a big mistake. at least as far as my stash goes. that is why i bought one of those lil Aquavape Inline percs. its perfect because its small so all the vapor must go through it, but it doesnt hold alot so i dont feel obligated to fill it to the max everytime. with a tube i feel like i gotta fill it with every hit.

just something to take into consideration.

in fact ive been thinking about getting one of them lil baby tubes also. seems like a good travel companion. anyone have any suggested sellers for a travel beaker or mini straight tube?
