The controller doesn't expose an API directly, it only maintains an MQTT connection with our servers.
You send us the API command, we send the MQTT command to your device.

Perhaps this simple flowchart can help explain a little better:

Got it. So you need an Internet connection to take advantage of the API's.

(I was hoping for a direct connection :) ... and implementation of claims based auth or something of the sort ...)

You can do local control via BluetoothLE with GATT but we haven't released that functionality publicly yet.
WiFi control is strictly via MQTT and requires an Internet connection.

Dropped my uptemp starting point to 300F, man IDK what's so different but the effects feel even more potent to me. I've been dabbing this same sauce all week but this low start point is really kickin my ass!

Made a vid but noticed there's a hair on the carb cap that ruined it  I wanna get a melt shot from the bottom but I popped the bottom off my new clear Quartz nail the other day so I'm back on the opaque for now :D

Wow that's really low. I doubt I could get vapor flowing at that temp. I have to try on my 25mm and see if I can reproduce what you're doing @invertedisdead . What is your setup, if you don't mind sharing? And what is your base, start, end and stabilize #s set at?

I'm kind of replicating the Puffco Peak cold start, I load it at and cap it at that low temp but I don't start hitting until it gets to 450 or so.
Right now I'm at 300F stabilize temp, 315 start, 600 end. The stabilize and start points MAY be a touch low, I've only done a few dabs this way starting at ~300F but each times the effects have been noticeably stronger to me. Could just be a phase though! :D :mmmm:

I'm using a 25mm opaque quartz banger + 25mm Disorderly Conduction barrel coil + and two 4mm rubys from 710gems. I was using some 6mm pearls but I think the smaller ones may work better with this longer uptemp as they take a while to heat up themselves.

Long time lurker here. After way more research than I hoped to do I think I'm finally ready to pull the trigger on my first enail setup with MV and 710coils!

- MV controller
- 30mm axial coil
- 30mm opaque 90deg banger
- Pi cap

I'm in Canada so I'm trying to get everything on one order minimize shipping. Unfortunately it looks like MV is sold out of all the 90deg 30mm opaque bangers. Any idea when these (or the bundles) will be back in stock? I'm considering just placing a separate order with 710 coils and getting the colored Pi cap as well.

Or I could just go with the 25mm. Generally it seems the 30mm is preferred and it makes sense it would resist changes in temperature better. On the other hand, I usually dab small so maybe it wouldn't be a huge difference.

Also I noticed on MV there was no option to select a Pi cap size. Do you stock both 25mm and 30mm and is there any difference in price?

I have the bundles marked out of stock currently due to limitations in our shopping cart and managing inventory.

If you need a bundle currently the best thing to do would be to make your purchase with 710coils and just instruct them to ship the items to me, then we can bundle them in with your controller to minimize shipping cost to you.

@brucee10 @710Coils everything is loading ok for me here, but I rebuilt everything just to be sure.
Maybe you guys just need to hit the logout link and log back in or something?

Awesome! That sounds great.

@710Coils - I've placed order #1730. Could you make sure it finds its way to MaxVapor?
@maxvapor710 - Should I go ahead and place an order for the controller now or would it be better to wait for the 710coils shipment to get to you first?

Thanks guys! Looking forward to joining team MV+710.

@RP6 the units are assembled as they come in and are taking 7-10 days from order to ship generally.

The stuff from 710coils will get here well before that so it is really up to you, however if you had your eye on a brushed aluminum (silver) model I suggest you order now as there are only 2 remaining and we won't be manufacturing that colorway any longer.

Thanks for the heads up. It just so happens I was looking at the aluminum one. I am order #227257. Thanks!

Would anyone else be interested in 5 degree increments for temperature adjustment? I'm slightly OCD and have to turn to those numbers regardless. Thought of this the other day but I forgot. Just slapped n capped and it's all coming back to me! :D :sherlock:

giving the people what they want!

Can’t wait to get home and upgrade. The next trick would be a way to exit uptemp mode without power cycling
