EHLE 100ml vs 250ml w/ PD

Hey guys.

I want to get a bong setup going for my PD. I've done some searching here and I see that the EHLE and RVY Mini-Beakers seem to be the best option.

Anyways, what's the best bet for the EHLE.. 100ml or 250ml? I saw another member has all 3 sizes and posted youtube videos, but you can't really see the 250ml's full size cause its cut off and dark. Really hard to see a difference online too.

So which do you prefer for your PD setup and why?

So you searched huh??? Must not have searched to hard since there are tons of threads on the same question. Like this one I found 2 pages in....

Yes.. I searched and found that thread as well. That is where the youtube videos I saw are that I had referred to in my original post.

I'm looking for a more direct comparison between the EHLE 100ml vs the 250ml. In that thread there is comparison between 4 different units and other off topic posts.

I'm looking for even more insight than that thread provides for these 2, specifically. wtf is wrong with that?

Basically it boils down to this. The 100ml is small. Too small. The foot on it is tiny so you can't leave the pd unattended without it tipping over. The only time I would ever use a 100ml is maybe with oil or with a whip type vape that you can set it down without anything tipping it over. A simple oil curve will tip them over if left on it which isn't cool with me.

250mls are a better size because they're not too big but still small enough to vape out of. They use thicker glass with the 250s as well plus the foot will be bigger so it will be more stable.

Now ehles have one major downfall (the smaller ones anyways) and that is they use 14.5mm Joints on the tube itself. This becomes a hassle if you look into getting a different diffy because there are really only two available. Which are the roor and ehle diffys because they are the only companies that make a 14/14 diffy.

Now if you have a little more money to drop I'd look into a syn 38mm straight or beaker. They're about the same size as a 250 ehle but they use a 14/18 bushings diffy so that means you can find all of the better functioning diffys for them (showerheads, 6 arms, ect). Plus they use thicker glass and are made in the USA which is a big deal to some people. And syn is better quality than ehle IMO but I can only find worked ones right now and I'm betting they'll be more than your lookin to spend.http://www.headyglass.com/?page_id=86&category=4&product_id=1148

So go with the 250 if your stuck on ehle and ok with the limited diffys. Having both would have it's merit too but I just can't recommend the 100 for anything really. The foot is just too small. My bud NoSmoke has one that never gets used because of that reason. I use a bong that's between 250-500ml and have never had any problems with the pd milking it. Especially with high air flow/high diffusion pieces.

Alrighty got another question for ya.

Firstly, which one gives you the best hits w/ a PD? the 100ml one seems like it will gimme more milky hits. Also, why is it a big deal that the PD won't support itself on the 100ml? Do you let your 250 ml support the PD alone while you hit it or something??

I'm leaning towards the 250ml, but for some reason i can't shake wanting the 100ml. I'm really torn btwn these two guys.

Lastly, does a diffy really make a difference for use with a PD?? The diffy is 2/3 the price of the bong so i want to know if it is worth it.

The 100 is just too small for my liking. Even when i tried the pd with my oil bub(which is roughly the same volume) i wasnt impressed with the size of rips i was getting. I usually end up leaving my pd and stem on the tube after I clear it while I'm catching my breath in-between hits. That's just me plus I like knowing that if I have to walk away from it I'm not going to comeback to a broken bong and water all over.

Diffys offer a smoother hit and the ability to control your hit more. Plus they have less chug since it's not as big of a bubble being formed at the end of it. Basically the smaller the bubble, the smoother the hit will be because the vapor is touching more water. That's where gridding and crazy perks come into play. A diffy isn't needed but it would be the first recommended upgrade.

The 250 will milk up fast enough without being so big that you have to exhale before you even start getting good vapor. These are two of my vids with pieces in the 250-500ml range and as you'll see they milk up pretty damn fast.

if you need a EHLE diffy let me know. i ordered one seperately and my 250ml got backordered and i just bought a Syn and canceled the EHLE tube order but couldn't cancel the diffy. i need an adaptor to use it with my syn tube so i dont really want to use it. if you need it hit me up with an email and i'll throw it on ioffer or something.
