I'm with @Baron23 on the 13W @ 4, then about 1 or 1.5 minutes between pulls. That gets me through 10 minutes or so, swap payload, turn it off in between mostly, so i don't burn myself too bad, then back on or a second session. Don't need as long a heatup, maybe a minute or two. 20-24 minutes on the timer, works like a charm if you want to do payloads.
I tried a sandwich like someone suggested, and it worked at 14W, better than the hemp fiber. It worked well enough that it contributed to the taste of the rip, however it didn't significantly increase the medication...so back to flower only for me, but I'll bet Baron would approve flower only.

Hey guys my apologies for the delayed update!
As of today we've invited the first 40 people on the waiting list to order, I had to slow down to sending out 5 invites per day because these vapes are taking me a lot longer to build than I had hoped.
Right now I'm building the whole vape from start to finish, so to speed things up I'm going to consider letting other people assemble certain components to help me (who I trust and are experienced).
Like the RDA connector and wire, that's a part I might try and get some help with assembly, but the actual G43 heater I will always assemble and test personally.
The feedback so far looks good, everybody is happy with the performance and strength but a few people had issues with their mods and/or RDA connector. We worked these out and now everyone who has the G43 is rockin and rollin.
I'll keep you posted on the progress as we ship more units out and figure out how to speed this up.

The current design with the coil on the inside unfortunately won't work with metal beads but this would be interesting to try.
Correct, No-Stir is the goal, but this one aint it. The portable version that I'm working on next will be No-Stir
Yowza! I typically vape between 11-12watts depending on the strain and how much I load. You really shouldn't ever have to go over 12-13watts with bud, the flavor will suffer if the coil is hotter than it needs to be!
None except for the heat now rising up into the herb chamber instead of up and out of the slide, so if you leave it sitting for a while the bud could vape itself a little bit, but if you don't let it sit you'll be gravy.
Yes, me lol. Nothing really bad though, just a few light finger brushes against the middle of the heater when being careless, I'm calling them "G Bites"

Where are the ones with the blue light .. they did this study, if there's not enough blue light it helps make me sleepy
Love the rig and clouds though ... mine is chugging away in a jhook, but produces nicely

Is there a desktop version in plan? I will jump on it if a plugin unit is avalaible, personnaly I don't see the advantage to run this sort of setup outdoors, too much hassle for me (and I prefer to get the lower possible number of batteries since they are not very earth friendly)... although, on my desk and using wall plug(and solar power) it might be a nice device.

Likes:
- Crazy hard hitting. Like, desktop hard hitting.
- Tasty. Not for as long as some others, but your first hit is really really good.
- Looks cool. It's really unique and fun to show off.
- Swappable battery is potentially useful, but not something I've needed so far.
- Custom firmware works great. The mod is very easy to use, but could have more complete instructions.
- Works amazing through any attachment I've tried (rig with and without water, j-hook)
Dislikes:
- Hot section burned finger; not quite as seamless to use as some other vapes when worrying about this hot middle portion.
- Can be awkward to reload having to be mindful of the beaded section.
- Uses a lot of material without a great way to micro-dose.
Final thoughts:
I really like it, but it has some room to grow. As for my favorite vape, as of now, I'd rank it behind my EVO but ahead of my SB and Mighty. I'd say it's right up there with desktops but in a significantly smaller package, which is a huge win for VapeCritic . Here's some potential additions that could help the current device improve.
- Optional heat sleeve.
- Optional glass arm sleeve for grip.
- A spacer (or several for more options) for micro-dosing.
- ELB type basket for ease of refilling and keeping the vape cleaner.
- Full mod instructions linked somewhere.

Bud mentioned recently he is giving in and dumping the idea of using unprotected cells with the battery holder having the protection added on.
He ordered a few of the slightly longer button top protected cells to test with for now.
On other news, I believe he was up to 70 shipped the other day. He has added a couple people to help him batch produce some of the simple parts like the wires and connections. He had a hard time changing from task to task to get decent production time per day. So now he can spend most of his time doing the harder parts with the glass grinding and heater setup.
But.....CHAMPS is next week so he will loose a bit of time next week. He mentioned also that he wants to get over here to answer Q's and all....he is just wicked busy and cant keep up with all the forum time stuff here and on his own site.
Be patient....things should start rolling along faster soon.
