Here's an article in men's health discussing a review on medical cannabis use and it's effect on mental health.

Very interesting. I've also linked the full study which is even more interesting if you feel like digging into it; even just reading the summary is informative :) It really corroborates my experiences with medical cannabis use in regards to addiction, anxiety, and depression. It has quite possibly saved my life ... as continuing on the path I was on, I was not going to be around too much longer.

@JCat Wow. I'm surprised that no one responded to your topic. I've read a lot of different articles on this same topic, and I'm convinced that cannabis has done for me what no anti-depressant ever did. Since I started growing my own, I have developed a totally different relationship with Cannabis as medicinal in the broadest sense of the word. I believe that a well-saturated ECS is the key to a much more peaceful mental state.

Cannabis has definitely saved my life. It is the best medicine I have tried for depression. I can actually live a fairly normal life with cannabis. I wish the government would get on board.

@Gigsabits53 It's crazy. I was thinking last night after I wrote that post about how I started feeling in early 2018 as my system adjusted to the very strong tincture I'd made: I "observed" this space open up in my mind where something bad was no longer waiting around every corner (constant anxiety), where I started to become friends with myself, where so many things mellowed and smoothed out. I did a lot of writing about it at the time. Now I have adjusted to it, but I never want to forget what happened.
