If you find a great way to clean them, please let us know! I’d try torching them, but I’ve seen people talk about thermal shock damaging quartz and I thought a torch would heat them too quickly. Maybe a quick blast would be okay though... :hmm:

Can anyone point me in the direction of a dedicated NV rosin press thread? Can’t sesm to find one, cooled at the website and they are exactly what I have been looking for.

http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/newvape-rosin-press-products.25438/

Here ^^. Needs some action...if you post there, tag me and I'll participate. Yes, Dabpress is doing a bang up job, but pretty much all NV products are at the top in terms of quality and are USA made and supported.

NV SiC Terp Pearls! :)

SiC BALLS!

I go them here:

Hi people, I'm new to this forum so hopefully I'm not breaking any rules or posting in the wrong place here. Anyway, I've been using a volcano, mighty and other stuff for the last few years, but ready to commit to something new. From searching around and reading a bunch of this thread I'm pretty much sold on snagging a flowerpot. Anyway, I come here asking for suggestions on where exactly my money should go on a ~$350-$450 budget. I don't have an e-nail, and I don't have suitable glass for this beautiful thing, so those both need to be factored in. I have some various dabbing equipment lying around but mostly looking at starting from scratch here. Any recommendations are appreciated, thanks guys. Super excited at the idea of having one of these and taking some double deckers.

The minimum you need is glass, an appropriate bowl, the VRod (or ShowerHead), a coil that fits (NewVape has 2 20mm coils that fit), and a controller that works with your coil.

The appropriate carb cap is also a good idea for concentrates, and I prefer the double-weave titanium screens so I think it’s worth ordering a couple. They last a long time, so don’t let the price sway you. ;)

You also need a place to store the head while it’s hot, and while a coffee cup, ash tray or anything that can take 500+ degree metal sitting on it, I’d pick up the titanium post and a stand from NewVape, or you can just the post and put it in your own stand if you like making things.

For bowls I’d at least get the titanium PanHead and/or ShovelHead since they’d be tough to break and they work well, but the glass ones NewVape sells work too and some people say they taste better. I haven’t used my glass bowl for flower yet so I can’t comment on that.

For glass, I do like the stereo matrix they sell, but if you need to save a little you can order it or something else from DHGate.

The only other accessories I can think of right now are their flower loading tool, dabbing tools and the little quartz balls (or maybe SiC which they don’t carry yet). Their grinders are nice too, but not exactly a FlowerPot part. :)

Awesome video! I wondered what people were doing with those multiple connection PIDs.

Couldn't you basically get the same effect by just mixing the flowers/concentrates though? Do people really have multiple nails/heads going just for this?

while yes it is pretty excessive it would allow you to do more product at one time and maybe taste a little better. I find when I drop a 0.3 gram dab in the top the taste really falls off after a few draws. lots of oil left but just starts to taste funny. I would defs use this if i had friends over.

Yea, I see the videos of people taking 10 rips in a row off a giant chunk of concentrate, not my style. I only put in enough for one and maybe hit it again a second time, but it even tastes bad then.

Sorry for the back to back post.

@christohari Is the draw resistance of the vrod with sublimator bowl much bigger than with the newvape bowl?
Is there much difference when you use the newvape bowl with preheating like the sublimator?

It all interests me more technically biochemically than really seeing a need for me. I think I would prefer the free flowing of the vrod/sh.

Sorry for the late reply. The sub atomizer is infeior in nearly every way. No prob with the draw resist but it is big, clunky, draws ~35watts (slow heat up), manual temp control, and no options for dish material other than titanium. One of the best aspects of the VRod is the simplicity and @NewVape710 can quote it :brow:.

You may want to check out a more in-depth analysis I laid in the Sublimator XLR topic. In my eyes, it is basically all about the vaping apparatus (big metal+glass tube device) itself which seems to give me some bigger deeper drags. It takes a little big longer of a drag but the vapor envelops the surface area of my tongue so much better and parts of my lungs that don't normally touch vapor (cough cough), apparently.

The portable battery chassis has been updated to accept both the NV and Auber controllers.

Thank you for the comments @christohari

Things are sure quiet in FlowerPot land. I'm not sure if this is good or bad thing? Are there any new suggestions to the flowerpot line up?

If the new stand is still in the works, how about some sort of jar section or some such, to hold Q-tips/cotton buds?

EDIT: If its of any use to anyone btw, I went for 2 holes in my carb cap and I'm currently using three terp pearls :)

Having decent results down at 565f

Our dealer kit has been purchased from DynaVap. I'm excited to see what new doors the "LEGO of portable vapes" opens for NewVape. So far the company DynaVap has been a gem to work with.

The first "Flowerpot Bench" will be on the cnc mill today.
That's terrific....you and George are, to my mind, two of a kind. Just regular guys who make really incredibly terrific products without a lot of "life style of the young and beautiful" and ego baloney.

Two thumbs up.

Can anyone explain me this? Lurking around until I deserve to treat myself. Whats this mean for the future?
