I have been using high cbd strain and even cbd only strains for 4 years . i used to only use thc strains only because cbd or lab tested known cbd strains wernt available .

Anyways at first i was into all the hype about cbd but i started to notice that after a while i started to feel kinda not good when using them .
Sometimes they would highten my anxity sometimes make me feel kind of sick and even dizzy .

I still pushed on and continued to use them anyway im currently on a cannabis break because of unwanted side effect which i always suspected were due to CBD but untill seeing this.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4919975/

i never knew why . now it starts to make sence. according to this CBD enhances cb1 receptior expression and can actully cause CHS when used in higher doses and with combination of thc . know wonder i would feel sick i especialy notice this if i use high thc after using high cbd for a long peirod brfore the high thc .

For this reason after my break to get out the cbd from my system i am saying fuck CBD strains and will be sticking to thc only strains as i feel i was on my way to CHS and that is the last thing i want to experience

I've been trying some 1:1 co2 oil pens and really liking the combination. The strains all have really unique flavors, I think the cannabinoid spectrum is likely more unique as well with this other spectrum of genetics.

Have not been on here in a looong time. Moved away from rec legal state, took an extended break and recently have been getting into CBD hemp flower, as it's become more available and less stigmatized with things like passage of the updated Farm Bill. I've always mostly been a medical user (surgically repaired spine, cancer, GI issues, anxiety/depression), and years ago I tried CBD flower strains but found THC was much more effective on the medicinal front, for me (really no comparison at all, especially for increasing appetite, relieving pain and unfreezing tight muscles and joints...THC is the most effective thing in the world for those things IME). When in the rec legal state I also had access to some excellent products and was able to experiment and dial in to what worked for my various issues.

While I love THC and it's medical powers, in addition the move I just wanted to get away from it and its downsides and trade offs, which I don't need to describe here. Even tho I never found much benefit from CBD flower in the past, I wanted to check out some of the new hemp flower options, and honestly I really missed the "ritual" of acquiring, preparing, and enjoying flower.

I've been experimenting with several hemp flower strains in my Mighty (as well as the ABV), and I think the time and distance from THC has helped me recognize and experience more of the benefits from CBD. For me the most assertive impacts are calming effects and dialing down any sort of anxiety, followed by anti nausea (but not pro-appetite) and sleep inducement (although I really don't have insomnia). I do notice some effect on pain and muscle relaxation, but again it's nowhere close to what a nice THC laden indica would do for me years ago.

I think CBD hemp flower is useful and worth a try, but as with anything try to procure quality product from a good vendor. Expectations also need to be realistic in terms of what it can and won't do.

Expect to see the term "full spectrum" when you buy CBD in the near future. For legal reasons.

https://www.cannalawblog.com/a-shift-in-nomenclature-for-hemp-cbd-products/

In a recent post regarding the labeling requirements surrounding dietary supplements containing industrial hemp-derived CBD (“Hemp-CBD”), we alluded to a recent movement in the industry to rename Hemp-CBD products “full spectrum hemp.” We now take a closer look at the reasons behind this shift in nomenclature.

Part of the impetus behind this movement might be linked to a 2001 court decision pertaining to the status of lovastatin, a compound found in red yeast rice.

Although red yeast rice had been used for healing purposes for thousands of years, the isolated compound was approved by the FDA as a drug in the treatment of cholesterol. Despite the FDA approval, companies continued to sell and market lovastatin as a dietary supplement. One of these companies was Pharmanex. The FDA challenged the sale and marketing of Pharmanex’s product, Cholestin, and ultimately prevailed when Pharmanex challenged the FDA’s position in federal court.

The court held that the lovastatin found in Cholestin was not in its natural form (i.e., as naturally occurring in red yeast rice) because its manufacturer deliberately selected and used a method to produce specific levels of lovastatin that were greater than those naturally present in red yeast rice. In addition, the court determined that Cholestin was a drug because it was specifically marketed as the isolated lovastatin compound.

There may be some parallels between the case of red yeast rice and Hemp-CBD. Indeed, like red yeast rice, hemp and hemp extracts have been consumed for hundreds of years as food and for their medicinal value. Similar to red yeast rice, hemp contains hundreds of compounds, including CBD. And like lovastatin, CBD was recently approved by the FDA via a drug known as Epidiolex—although it is important to note that the CBD approved by the FDA as a drug is derived from the cannabis plant, not industrial hemp grown under an eligible state program, pursuant to the 2014 or 2018 Farm Bill.

Accordingly, if a Hemp-CBD product were to meet the standard laid forth by the court for red yeast rice (i.e., unadulterated full-spectrum hemp marketed as full spectrum hemp, not CBD), its manufacturer may be able to use the nomenclature “full spectrum hemp,” which might mitigate the risk of FDA enforcement action against Hemp-CBD products.

However, given the varieties of hemp strains, and the fact that each contain various levels of naturally occurring compounds, it might be challenging to specifically assess what constitutes “naturally occurring” levels of CBD. Nonetheless, “full spectrum” is generally understood to mean that all the natural constituents of the hemp plant are in product at the same percentages as they would be found in nature. Because advertising cannot be false or misleading, the nature of each product would be dispositive—i.e., whether or not the natural constituents are there in natural percentages—in determining whether those products might fall outside the scope of FDA scrutiny.

Accordingly, before manufacturers of Hemp-CBD products consider renaming their product “full spectrum hemp” they should consult with experienced attorneys to review their manufacturing process and determine whether switching from “CBD” to “full spectrum hemp” in labeling and marketing would be allowed and beneficial.

hi - i wanna try switching to daily use of CBD oil instead of microdosing THC..
i am curious to see how it treats bad moods, depression, relaxaiton etc.
the high is not needed all the time so CBD might be the answer.

will something like this do?
https://provacan.co.uk/collections/...cbd-eliquid-for-vapes-600mg-full-spectrum-cbd
what would you recommend using it for vaping?
i have the Fury 2 with it's oil/wax tool that i can drop a few drops on , i'm wondering if it will do.

Too liquified for what you want, you want a raw CBD extract instead of something heavily diluted.

Just so you know,
This company is very highly rated.
The only quality vape oil you can get in UK.
Whether it’s diluted or more oily, i cannot say.
But i rather just buy a 20$ oil pen or something dedicated.
Can you recommend?

That type of thin oil is for e-juice / e-cig tanks.

I'm using broad spectrum CBD distillate (contains CBG, CBN, CBC, etc) + cannabis derived terpenes in a CCell cart. I get it from www.thehempbarn.com perhaps something similar exists across the pond.

You certainly can, as long as you don't mind vaporizing various glycols and glycerines used to dilute the CBD. I prefer to only vaporize pure extracts with no fillers or cutting agents.

did you read this?
seems very high quality?
https://www.shoppingcbd.com/provacan-cbd/
I don't think any ejuice would be something I'd consider high quality.

When it comes to CBD ejuice I think the best way to go is making your own. Plus it's cheaper.

Edit- if it's flavored idk about homemade, but unflavored or flavored with terps than it's pretty simple and you have total control... Of everything.

If you have access to pure cbd isolate mix 1.5 grams of isolate into 14 ml of mct oil and come up with a tincture that’s 5mg cbd per drop. Much more economical than commercial product but for use under the tongue only.

Yes, do NOT vape MCT oil. Oral consumption only.

Yea seems purer..
Btw did you by any chance switch from Thc to Cbd?
I wanna try it because it claims to kinda settle the mood and takes the edge off During the day.
Does it?
I prefer less psychoactive effects.

thanks. first i need to find the cheapest way to start using CBD regualrly.
it's pretty expensive for full spectrum oil.
also, i live in Israel so no CBD import for now (assholes).
i have some local options but it's around 150$ for a 2000ml bottle of 20% full spectrum.
depending on the drops it can hold probably 1.5 months. too expensive for me.
if i had a severe physical problem i would've invest of course,
but since i mainly need it to generally feel better mostly psychologically,
i need to find a cheaper option.

I would not consider myself a level above, only motivated to learn.
I lost interest in the herb 30 years ago and reintroduced into my life a year ago at the age of 62.
Most of my knowledge was accumulated from forums like this and the internet.
It is an incredibly interesting and enjoyable product of which I have developed a passion to learn and experience.
