Thank you @Dynavaper for the J-hook advice!
I have been using the VC at home with my little mini bubbler and the Orbiter for a few weeks and I got to say that I got used to the combo VC-glass.
It is superb!!!:rockon::rockon::rockon:

Glad for 20% off, now my black-wood omni got a brother: the black shadow ( both black , no racism betweeen them ).
I decided that if I'll spend other money, it will be only on this brand, for many good and not argumentable reasons. First vapo I had was the DaVinci, and after a year the battery has gone. Had also the Grasshopper, and it's been broken in RMA (number 4) for eight months. Have the Arizer Air, very good one but not so efficent IMO. Got also a mod with eliquid, very immediate but I still prefer flowers that are more healthy IMO.
So I think that the only vape I'm sure it works, the only one I can take with in every occasion without problems is this and that's probably why in this beautyful blog it's the more discussed topic, without any important issues.
I notice that the new entry got the cap that goes out very easy, maybe someone got the same problem, maybe there are some old posts, can you tell me best way to fix it ? I'm afraid to break it pressing it too much , thanks for help , nice Omniweekend to everyone
Man ... I would kill for a Blackwood body for my Omni ...

just kidding of course :):peace:

Today my blackwood body and omni condenser from vaposhop are arrived, on the evening I will give them a good cleaning and first test. :brow:

From the talk earlier I’m thinking I may have the 2018 Ti tip. But I’m not sure because I got it on PIU and I’m not sure how quickly they change models. Does anyone who knows photos have an Older model Ti tip?
One without the “'wings' on the 'tip dips”?
Or describe how I can tell the difference?

Here are pictures of my Gen 6 TI Tip that I have bought 4 months ago from the hedonistclub. I find I can see this wings but the are not so pronounced als in the picture that @roonsy posted.

That's interesting... you're right, you can definitely see them but they are also definitely not as pronounced as on my green tip.. and the 'dip' part on yours is noticeably wider than on mine... and if I look at MY standard Omni, there are no 'wings' at all... yet it is not gen5

So, you appear to be one of the folk cutting your own screens for the VC tip. Are you doing it primarily for $$ or availability reasons, or do you think it improves air flow in some way? Your particular screen looks pretty dense. I would think it might inhibits airflow, not really a goal in this usage. I would further guess it might also need cleaning more often? With the CCDs cleaning for me is driven more by buildup in the condenser than the ccds needing cleaning.

Fresh cleaned and assembled, I like the look of it so much very beautiful. I had a little problem at the beginning with the omni condenser he went quite heavy in the body, but a bit of olive oil on the orings and moved the condenser a few times back and forth and it was going smooth.

I dont cut them I punch them out with a 8mm leaher punch hole, easy job instead of cutting them. I do this to prevent tiny bits go in the condenser, I use the CCD anyway I lay the mesh screen on top of the CCD and the airflow seems the same maybe a very little more restcrictive but not worth talking about in my experience. I dont must it cleaning more often but in my experience it is very important to unload the vapcap when is still hot and then give it a short blow through the vapcap to prevent the screen from clogging. I change it every time when I clean my vapcap thats are basicly once a week or so sometimes a little more than a week depending how much reclaim builds up, this is the main reason why I make this do have the purest reclaim that I can get from my vapcap.

Looks like this :brow:

Well. Made it past the Canadians with my psm and shadow M!

As you're about to go through screening/carry on check, there's a big clear sign reminding everyone "carrying cannabis across international borders is illegal" lol.

Great thing I gobbled up the last half of my 'cookie' in line and discarded my 510 cartridge before entering the line!

:D

Now it's just to get past the Mexicans... (I think I'm good)

The only worse case scenario I see right now is... Not finding any herbs in mexico. (I think I'm good though)

Why should it be illegal ? You can vape tobacco or damiana if you want. It's more and more usual to vape tobacco instead of eliquid.
For Canada you can have a pack of rolling tobacco with it. For Mexico you can roll some dollar bills around your VC inside your stash. ( bad joke)

I also listened the advice and i am waiting for this one : https://m.dhgate.com/product/2015-hottest-100-real-quartz-carb-cap-with/259827492.html

I saw also the one you guys ordered but couldn't tell if it is 14 or 19 mm. Which one is it, I see no option choice ?

thinking of buying a vapcap, how long does it take to heat it up? how is the effect, is it strong or mild?

It takes between 3-30 seconds to heat up depending on your heating method, temp conditions, and tip.

It can use roughly between 0.01g-0.05g of herb in the bowl.

You can pretty much get the affects you want from it depending where on the tip you heat with the lighter. . Go for whispy low temperatures, or vapour full max temperatures, all while respecting the click.

People use it differently too, some mouth-pull others lung pull, some use the airflow from the carb hole others leave it closed, some get three click>click cycles per bowl others clear the bowl in one hit, some use the small bowl size others use the full bowl, some prefer the SS others the Titanium....

It can be whatever you need really:shrug:

Just a couple of small disagreements:

1. I’ve put up to 0.075g in the tip, and my guess is with a fine enough grind you could fit like 0.1g in (although it gets hard to maintain good airflow with a super fine grind).

I’m guessing you use a coarse grind or no grind, @mrb or just pack it very loosely?

2. It’s possible I’m wrong about this, and the VapCap can give a larger volume of vapor than I can even handle without a lot of coughing, but I feel like high-temp hits from a nearly pure convection vaporizer like the FlowerPot can provide something significantly different.

In fact, even at lower temps the effects are somewhat different - both good - which is one of the biggest reasons to try more than one vaporizer!

A VapCap can certainly get anyone without too high a tolerance anywhere from just tasting to down on your ass though. :D
