A lego question for the experts - what do I need to convert my standard Omni or Ms/NonaVong into an XL?
If I buy a spinning light wood mouthpiece with an XL condenser is a standard size body long enough or do I need to use a stem? It's funny - I love my Vapcaps but I've never done much mixing and matching :\

Yes Ricardo, to go to XL you need to swap from bodies to stems, and XL condensers.
The bad thing comes with the Omni.... to go Omni XL you would need to buy the whole XL assembly condenser and mouthpiece, then a stem, or use your M's stem.
I wish DV gave the option of buying ONLY the Omni condensers (standard or XL) as the mouthpiece is the same for both sizes. That would make it a lot easier ( cheaper) to swap between the Omni sizes, imo.

@MaalboroMan, I like watching 'Forged in fire' and it is exactly what I think .... they have lots of nice materials to choose from.

Sexy in pastel!
Is the green condenser part of a green Omni mouthpiece? No green condensers for sale?

Be good to have them listed?

Correct. I was hoping to just use a green spinning mp + green xl condenser to put this together, but the only way to get a green condenser was to buy a full green Omni ti or ti xl.

Unfortunate for my wallet, but it was imperative that the condenser be green!

Yesterday, after VapCap’s generous post, someone noticed that you get a free M with a purchase
Of at least $1.

Big flurry. Offer then eventually disappeared. :hmm:

Anyone here noticed the mystery posting on DV site?

I wonder.... wouldn't it be better to use filtered colors eye glasses....:lmao:

That worked, back a blast from the past, in the sixties?

Hi @all,

I got a new OmniVap today (Thanks Vaposhop for the fast delivery!). Unfortunately there are problems with that

I can hardly get the mouthpiece off the condenser, because the diameter of the mouthpiece is too small at one point. That scratches then, and the screw function is maximally disturbed.
Is there a self-help solution how I can remove some material from the mouthpiece? The cause is definitely in the mouthpiece.

The mouthpiece sits too tight, the cap too loose. I have some caps in my possession, they all fall off the new TI tip. With a good bend, the cap holds halfway tight. Nevertheless it does slip a bit.

I am grateful for every tip. I ordered this for a friend, and he wants to use the OmniVap, and not send back :-)

That may have been caused by the machine crimping the condenser (tightly) in production mode. You may be able to see the marks looking closely.

As for the cap being loose, squeezing it gently until you have a snug fit should keep the cap
From being lost. A quick fix.

If the condenser is not free after working it gently back and forth, you should get in touch with
DVCS? Or directly with VapoShop.

@Kermitt So you mean the fitment issue is less about the threads and more about the hole down through the top of the mouthpiece not being big enough for the condenser tube to slide/pass through?

If so I think sending it back is probably the best solution. Drilling it out bigger will be tricky to do nicely without a sharp drill bit and an experienced user. I'm sure you'd manage, but it might not be pretty and then you've fouled up a new mp. . .

The threads of an omni condenser can be improved with fine sandpaper or a scotch pad. In essence just smoothing off the sharp edges and rounding everything a touch more makes a lot of difference. Add a bit of wax after and it'll slide/adjust like butter.

Super helpful, thanks. I went ahead and ordered an XL condenser with light wood spinning mouthpiece + a matching light wood NonaVong stem. Slightly disappointed that there isn't much anymore in the way of wood on offer from Dynavap, I really wanted slimline rather than a fat cigar but as George acknowledged yesterday, that's where the accessories people come in - I reckon it's time I spoke to one of you guys . The discount code worked fine - it translates to free shipping for me .

No, and I jumped right in when I read about the special deal for FC folk. I'm glad they took it down. Saved me some money but I was ready:tup:

This is one for the Guinness Book of Records ~ I ordered the above parts like 2 hours ago, got further acquainted with the Shadow M, had a short siesta on my terrace - woke up to find the shipping confirmation email waiting! Ordered at 15.21, shipped status email at 16.21. I shit you not :D (and yes, I checked to see if I'd lost a day).

There are also double crown cocobolo and blackwood stems and bodies (slim) available in different euro shops. I prefer the blunt/ J cone style of the nonavongs personnaly as they grip better for spinning and for laying on the table while hot.

Oh my goodness y’all, I’m not entirely sure what I have done. I just wanted to ask @primitiveorganic a couple of questions about his stuff and the next thing I know, I’ve gone and ordered a custom body!

Be warned: he makes it all so easy and fun talking about the possibilities, if you’re not careful you could easily find yourself in the same situation with something beautiful and unique headed your way. :haw:

And while I definitely blame him for his cheerful attitude and no-pressure sales, I also hold a few of y’all responsible for this. Most definitely. Posting your pretty pictures and talking about how much you love it. How cool it makes you feel when you’re getting high. How am I supposed to deal with all that?! :disgust:

@Ricardo come on in man, the water is fine! You gotta reach out to Mssrs. Simrell & phattpiggie pronto!

Not sure if it’s called a body or stem, it’s XL. I’ll be pairing it with a spinning Ti mp.
