No worries mate...the mighty does come with its fair share of problems too though.
Fair enough. I must have been really lucky because mine works like a charm every time. And it sounds like your MV1 does the same for you. Cool.

It will be interesting to see how S&B products evolve now that they are owned by Canopy. I have a feeling there will be some pretty big advances coming our way in the near future!

I may be misinformed but IIRC MV1 needs stirring. I don't want stirring EVER in any of my vaporizers, let alone on the go.
Other than that an S&B capsule with the lid on is.. Safely encapsulated. MV1 capsule seems to have a lid that stays on top of the body without any closing mechanism. To be drop safe you need a crucible dispenser.
That amount of money is better spent on a desktop, or 2 (Elev8tor+G43?), in my book.
But still, I'm tempted at times.

My first mighty has worked like a charm for over four years, still have it and use it. My second mighty was just hatched on black friday, but seems even better. If I thought there was a better portable vape, I'd buy it.

So would I, @shredder. From what I have seen so far, this one still holds top spot on many reviews.

I also have a Solo II, which I really like too, but I find myself using my Mighty much more often. So simple to use and great clouds every time. :) No gimmicks, finicky parts or excessive cleaning necessary. Works for me.

Hi folks.

Been a Mighty user for the last 2,5 years. Been quite much satisfied, no problems...

Anyway, sometimes Mighty makes me cough like grazy...I keep it clean, clean the CU after every sessions and "deep clean" it after maybe every 6-8 sessions. It doesn't sem to matter what temp I vape at.

Any ideas? I used to have a glass stem and I have a feeling I didn't cough that muc with it but I'm not sure since I didn't pay that much attenttion to coughing back then...I got myself a Ghost MV1 and now I notice the difference (Mighty=Coughing, Ghost=Not coughing).

Any ideas? I really like the Mighty and wont let it go coughing or not, still not coughing would be much metter :).

Happy vaping to everybody!

Mr420
I’ve been experiencing the same thing. Only way I can keep the coughing to a minimum is to start at 160c and go up 10 degrees when the vapour thins out until I hit the 210c limit. Exact same thing was starting to happen with my original Solo as well as the M. All good through water but not direct.

I have a sneaky suspicion that it’s the difference between a mostly/hybrid conduction vape vs a more convection based vape.

No problems when using my grasshopper, SBJ, or haze pro (when it decides not to combust).

Or I could be totally wrong?

Thanks for the replies guys. I definitely didn't want this to end up being Mighty vs. Ghost fight. Like I said, I've been a satisfied Mighty (every day) user for many years...Some people have even stopped smoking and started vaping because of me and my Mighty :)...So definitely not complaining here.

Anyway, I cleaned my Mighty under the base bottom screen ad this seems to help the problem...So could it be that little herb particles end up in the oven and cause the coughing...Don't know.

Oh, one more question. What grinder are you guys using for your Mighty? I'm using a NewVape Fine grinder and just by now been thinking if it grinds too fine for the Mighty...?

I'm visually impaired so can't really see if the little particles fall from the holes of the botom screen...At least there were something when I cleaned it up :).

Happy vaping for everybody!

I like my 4 piece 88mm SpaceCase, it has a medium to coarse grind that seems to work well in all my vapes, the orange S&B is too fine, a marketing ploy to wreck your vape sooner and get you to buy another.
I just purchased another Tera for a friend after he tried all my portables. I did not tell him prices or where they were built. I asked him to guess and he said the Mighty and CF/x were the cheap Chinese shit obviously, his words.
I quite like the Mighty the flavor is good...for conduction, but I believe it is getting quite dated especially in this iPhone world (I like my controls on the vape personally, 3 buttons are great, on/off up and down...done)
I also don't go much on the loading/CU set up, magnets are nice and no crevices for plant matter to get stuck in would be good.
I have only owned my Mighty for a short time, so no doubt a new model will be out soon.

I use a coffee grinder and do about 1/8 oz at a time, ground pretty finely. I have the new vape fine grinder and a couple of others, but in the end manual grinders are too difficult for me to operate, so the coffee grinder it is. Works great for me!

I kinda doubt it's the grind. That vapor path through the cooling unit is pretty torturous. If you really think its small particles getting through maybe let your cooling unit get sticky so it would trap particles better. You can visually check this by inhaling through a tissue.

For what it's worth you really don't need a certain grind with a mighty. (i use a medium grind slx) No stirring required either. And you can put in small buds and vape without a grind at all. You don't get huge hits and it takes a while, but worth trying if for only shits n giggles.

Another thought, maybe it's your herb. Something as simple as the moisture level of the herb will make a difference. Anything sprayed on the buds, or a systemic pesticide will show up in the vapor. I've had an asthma attack after vaping herb that the grower later admitted that had been sprayed with azamax during flower. A lesson I haven't forgot. Even too much nutrients can have an undesirable affect. Anyway some things to consider.

My first post here, and it's of my Mighty sporting a 3D printed rear plate.

Hey all! Just stopping in to wish everyone a happy New Year, hope the holiday's were awesome!

I have lots of vapes, and the Mighty gets my most use by far. It may not be my most effective, or my overall heaviest hitting, but it consistently works and pumps out awesome vapor. Use it multiple times a day. It's the chicks favorite and that's primarily why too

I am coming up on.....I believe 4 years come May. Never warrantied. Few of the fins towards the top of the unit have snapped, but they are purely aesthetic damage. My charger cord broke, but Underdog 12V chargers charge it pretty well! (Albeit, you can't use pass through). The battery life is marginally worse then when I first got it, maybe 5-6 bowls rather than 6-7.

In any case, I hope everyone's Mighty's treat them well and they have an awesome 2019!

The mighty is a very good conduction vape...but I prefer a convection unit and the mv1 rules!
It is a convection vape with added conduction. Not only conduction, sorry.

Well basically I wanted to say hi to the club.
My vaporbudget has taken a massive hit and I have joined the club.
I saw it at a very good price at a shop and had to profit of the sale.
Tried it out today and that Mighty is mighty.

The Plenty (most often with the chamber reducer) is my vape to go, so I did not expect a big difference in the experience.
It heated up quite fast. I might even hit it while waiting for the Plenty to heat up.:p
It was so easy to set a good temperature. It tasted nice, about as expected ( I know the Crafty too).
The clouds were dense and kept coming!
My Plenty absolutely needs a cleaning and a new coil or maybe a j-hook. Maybe I can get more vapor out of it (again?) like that.

I just checked the serial number of the Mighty and saw it is probably one of the earlier models. It came in the "old" blue orange box. Probably it was in that shop since quite a while. I did not expect the newest version anyway, so...
I thought, no worries, as I never read of huge problems with the Mighty.

Never say never!:myday:

Problem now is, at that early stage S&B did not yet produce medical models like at www.vapormed.com!
I must have gotten a recreational model, man, fuck that thing gets me so baked!:hmm:
I did use it quite a bit to see if the batteries drain fast or if I got a model with the added 20% capacity they offer. I really think I have an old model.
Each filling helped confirm my suspicion:nod: :rofl::lmao:

:myday:Should have gotten a Mighty a long time ago :rockon:

Don't worry. The models are exactly the same. The only differences are +100€+Label 'Medic' ;)
Thanks, this is very good to know!

But I wanted to get medicated, not just high... now I got the wrong Mighty...

Be warned if ever I act silly, it was that recreational Mighty I got instead of the 'Medic', not me.;)
Should have paid that 100€ more, sorry

Edit: Forgot: Happy New Year everyone!

The charger is such a pain in the ass with the mighty, since there is no stand or dock that anyone makes. I went online and found a 3d printed file with this side charging dock for the mighty and it's a perfect fit. Really makes charging and uncharging the mighty hassle free.

(RE: new S&B model) It will ...the next months if there aren't any changes after the company sale.

Did I read somewhere it's about the size of a Crafty or aimed as a replacement for Crafty?
Can you get any other clue(s) for us in time?!!
Wonder if it will use the same capsules or smaller? Or entirely new tech?
It's exciting (even if it was just the same with a glass CU/improved flavor), but financially I'm ok about waiting!

Hope these new guys don't screw it up and start releasing worse vapes instead of better or equal ones.

They did bring out a capsule filling set pretty recently, so I bet a new vaporizer model will be using these too.
Or they bring out a model specialized for concentrates/extracts. But they covered this with their conc. pads.

Sorry, was anything unclear? The "Medic" and the regular "Mighty" are the SAME, absolute IDENTICAL devices! The only difference it the printed label "Medic" and additional costs of ~ €100.
The reason for that is the food and health safe certification by the TüV and that they can sell the Medic for more bc German health insurances pay the Medic for approved medical patients.

I got this info by a friend who knows someone who stays in close touch with S&B. And he only told that a new device by S&B will come this year w/o any details.

I may be wrong, but I believe Sick Vape is being facetious. I know were all high here, it can be hard to detect sarcasm sometimes!

If so, sorry for my unnecessary clarification. I'm not high yet, I just woke up. ;)
But it's not so easy for me to recognize because of my weak English skills :ugh:

Yes i tried to be funny. Hence the misunderstanding.
I am very sorry, i should not try to be sarcastic/funny in a foreign language.
I just had to in regard of all that "medical against recreational" talk etc. I was reading lately.
My english is not better than yours so excuse me if I misguided you ;)
