Think you could share a link to the kind of punch you're using? Wanting to get some of this mesh and a punch myself but I'm not sure I'm looking at the proper tools. Something like this? https://www.amazon.com/Co-link-Stai...qid=1544725617&sr=8-9&keywords=8mm+punch+tool

I have buyed mine from a local shop very cheap, but you can also use this from your link should work perfectly. When you punch them out lay unter the mesh a piece of hard wood or a piece of hard plastic for protecting the cutting edges of the punch hole.
I recommend to work with a straight hit of a hammer on the punch tool, should punch out with the first hit.

Isnt the hemp fiber/cotton under the screen a cheaper alternative?

Is a little cheaper but a mesh sheet of a size 21cm*10cm last me now over a year, you can also torch them clean when this is needing. I clean my vapcaps every week or two depenting how dirty they are then I replace filter as well. And no worry about a flavor change from the hemp fiber, feels more cleaner for me the mesh filter solution.

it's beginning to look a lot like...

I set one up like that too. Overall it’s very nice! Visually I don’t love the mouthpiece part under the tip, but it is useful to put your fingers on while spinning it, and set up this way it doesn’t ruin the look for me. :)

Ok y’all sold me on help fiber, but now where can I find it for a reasonable price? All that standard online shops are sold out

I got mine from Dynavap. I don’t see it on the site right now, so maybe they’re out of stock, but that’s at least one option if you can wait for stock. Maybe email them and see when they expect it if you do wait.

@Mikey high temp organic vape cotton is just as good and you can get it at any vape shop.

@phattpiggie Thanks for that video, I'm going to have to take a video with me doing a back 2 back with my omni and vapman. I'll do that after work and post it up.

Day4: I have better control with my vapman despite the the cap having the click. Though I find the cap to be much more efficient and better with concentrates than the vapman. I used to use concentrates with my vapman but now the cap took that driver's seat. But for herb due to my technique I barely just barely gives the edge to the Vapman.

I'm going to do hash with the unit next and see how it performs. I'm love testing so many things with my cap. I regret nothing!
As always 420 in the 204!

I haven’t used the VC for hash yet, but it seems like a lot of people smash a bit pretty flat and put that in the tip...I guess as long as it doesn’t fully melt it seems to work. You can search the thread for their experiences if you’re interested, but let us know what works for you!

vapor related equipment > O Danny Boy, the pipes...
Added another acetal mouthpiece: V2 - a fatter nonavong mp for when the nonav is not used in a waterpipe. Also posted some better pics of the mp mounted on vapcap

I use mostly hash with my vapcaps and works beautiful. I have tried flowers also, but I have better hash available.
In my experience, the same amount of hash gives me more hits than flowers.
I vape, in general, 2 kind of hash. One that melts and one that doesn't melt.

With the one that does melt, I use a little bit of hemp fiber on top of the screen, so it doesn't get all clogged.

The one that doesn't melt, I use straight on top of the screen, without hemp fiber, crumbled like small breadcrumbs, with the titanium tip set to 50%, the smallest, and I fill it half, leaving some air in between the crumbs.

It was for me a trial and error, until I got to know a bit better how the vapcap behaves with different aromatherapy substances and different heating methods.
But definitely all the help I have found on this thread has been invaluable to me, as the learning curve is much smoother if you're patient enough to cope with some reading (over 1500 pages).

So I've made a video of back to back usage of the Dynavap and the Vapman. It's just a fun raw session that I did moments I got off of work. It says sorry in the corner because I lied and didnt show you my abv at the end because I ended the video by mistake. Enjoy, as always 420 in the 204!

nice bubbler u got there mate.. :)
it seems that you're 'rushing' a bit on the vapman so that you get on with the vapcap.. which is totally understandable.. :brow::tup:

vapman is delicious when it comes to solids, which VC is also though.. then for flowers i've seen that itis not really that good... a friend of mine had one some time ago and i got to play with it few times.. IMHO, vapman stands no chance with the VC.. for many reasons.. with the simpler one that you dont know how long to heat the bottom and there's no click to tell you so..

Works fine, if used as a log stem—I do miss the whisper of clicks, darling

Now, where is that extra vapcap gone hiding....

@Hitomi Thank you very much! As for tips I don't have much since I've had it for less than a week but I have been sharing my experiences. I do put vape cotton under the screen so I can reduce the debris and can use a fine grind if I prefer.
- Single Flame Vapman Lighter
-First hit is a flavor/heatup hit. I heat the middle for half and I heat close to the tip till the click happens. Just like you saw in the video you saw no vapor for the first hit
- Second hit I heated close to the bottom then went for the middle till it clicked and hit it for 1 extra second to get full extraction
- I also thought I had a preference for the cap when it came to shatter but after testing the VM with the vape cotton instead of the concentrate screen I found it to be equal.

@voodoo_vape I was rushing because I didn't want the file to be too large or the video too long aha. The vapman and the cap fit native to a 10mm BUT the VM also fits a 14mm native but I prefer the 10. Also I know hoe long to heat up my vapman even when it's noisy EXACTLY because it has no click, I have my technique that works for me every time. I find that because the cap clicks I'm becoming too reliant on the click and I haven't figured out in my head how long to heat up for when i am in a noisy setting where I cant hear it. Though I figure that I will learn the timing in the near future :)

Dynavap:

+ Concentrates and flower
+ Efficiency
+ Size
- waiting for it to cooldown before next cycle/bowl
+ cleaning is easy and doesn't take too long
+++++ Can adjust airflow and I personally have it to pull like a cigarette
+ Thick clouds for a portable, quite surprising
+ Great with Water
(-/+) Reliance on click ( for noisy situations )

Vapman:

+ Concentrates and flower
+ Efficiency
- Size is nice, awkward shape for travel (Egg Case)
+ Don't have to wait for cooldown between cycle/bowl
+ Cleaning is much easier and faster (Iso and Magic eraser) no taking apart.
- 2 hand carb system, has 3 carb holes
++++++ Personalized heating system can vape slow and light or you can get it to temp and fire it off to extract it all at once (If you cant get a good session it's user error)
(-/+) Learning curve
Note: It works with water but not the best, you lose a bit of vapor when you turn it over. You can see that in the video. Would probably work better with a mini hydrotube where I dont have to turn it over, I just dont own one

I love them both equally and neither is better than the other, just have different areas where they perform better than the other so to me the pros and cons even up between them.

Mucking around the haus, today—grey, cold day...

Had what I thought a brilliant idea: use a heat source (Fury), and use the M as a log stem (no cap).

(Big boys gotta play?)

Pure “Convection” ? :2c: Pure, baked. :brow: Windproof. No butane. Port-able. :spliff:

It is to me a brilliant idea @stark1!
It should work clearly, something as Eds tnt I suppose. All it needs is a controlled heater, not needing the cap.
Share with us what your experiences with it,
