Why not just put it into smaller containers and freeze or refrigerate most of them? That way you don't have a large volume of rosin sitting out, and you can just go through a container, grab a new one and go from there each time. Would definitely keep everything fresher, and smaller volumes will not expand and contract so much with temperature swings, solving the issue imo.

We started with small containers but quickly got bigger ...
All the containers we fill swell up no matter what size ...

Are you leaving it in a warm area? Is it under any kind of heat or pressure?

When using heated plates to press rosin - The rosin starts decarbing (bubbles)
Some of those bubbles stay in the rosin and try to come out over time.
I used a plastic vacuum container from a Food Saver and pulled a vac. on the container.
This worked real well to make the rosin more stable.
It is fun to dab from a 25 gram container that seems to stay full almost forever !
